About

Everyone's favorite Scottish nanny is headed on tour in "a feel-good, family-friendly comedy that delivers" (The Hollywood Reporter). Based on the beloved film and directed by four-time Tony Award® winner Jerry Zaks, Mrs. Doubtfire tells the hysterical and heartfelt story of an out-of-work actor who will do anything for his kids. It's "the lovable, big-hearted musical comedy we need right now," raves the Chicago Tribune - one that proves we're better together.

a brilliant afternoon spent laughing and enjoying the fun lyrics and music. Couldn’t quite picture how it work but they did a fabulous job. Make sure to see it!

The touring cast of Mrs. Doubtfire makes this comedic musical a hilarious and entertaining experience. Great singing, great dancing and great physical comedy. A double thumbs up.

  • Mra Doubfire - on fire!

by Mes Doubfire on 11/11/25National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

For once, I treated myself with some really good tickets. Loved every second. Confortable seats, great view, nice and helpful ushers, it set the tone for a wonderful time. What a great show! The cast, the musicians, 5 stars all around. THEY did a flawless job. However, sound was horrible in all aspects: Sounded like all singers were singing from a can of soup, and like the orchestra was not 'plugged' in the sound system. I was seated in DD 14. I thought that things would sound better in Act II, but no. Another detail that 'killed' the magic of the show was that ALL the artists on stage had their microphone cables hanging out of their outfits. Usually, this is something you'll never see happening, but on saturday afternoon, this technical boo boo made the show look and feel quite amateur. So, thank god the performers and musicians were excellent. Their respective talents made us accept the horrible sound and poor management of the sound equipment.

  • Dude Looks Like A Lady!

The best musical show my wife and I have seen! Loved the movie too, and the show tracked it closely. Didn’t care for the political correctness of “2 mommies” or “2 daddies” scene which wasn’t in the 1993 movie. Wish only that Aerosmith’s theme song would have been played!

  • LR Ms Doubtfire

by Lenny on 10/28/25Robinson Center - Little RockRating: 4 out of 5

It was really great singing by all the cast. I was disappointed that they had even the little kids using bad language in the play. Overall, it was good.

  • Slow start but good ending!

by Cruiser on 10/28/25Robinson Center - Little RockRating: 3 out of 5

After starting somewhat slow, it picked up steam in the second half. Enjoyed the thought provoking content, and of course, the laughter!

  • Overall, it was a heartwarming and fun experience!

by Niki on 10/28/25Robinson Center - Little RockRating: 5 out of 5

They did a really great job transforming the movie to a musical on stage! The casting was done really well. The "looping"part was absolutely brilliant and a great surprise! The only thing that took a little away from the show was there was harsh language a few times and the sound on mics was a little off which is distracting. But neither of those issues made this show less than amazing!

  • Amazing!

by Laura on 10/28/25Robinson Center - Little RockRating: 5 out of 5

From the actors to the props, this was absolutely amazing! I would see it again in a heartbeat!
