Mammoth WVH show on Friday night was fantastic. The musicianship on display by the band was an absolute pleasure to watch and hear. Highly recommended show to see!!
From the moment Wolfgang Van Halen and his band members hit the stage, you can feel the energy...from the musicians and the audience! And with the first chord played, it's all uphill from there. The lyrics, the vibes, the guitar jams, it's all extremely captivating. Wolf's second album is just as riveting as the first, and it is an honor to hear him play and sing. My 14-year-old daughter has become a HUGE Mammoth fan, which made going to this concert even more special. Rock on, guys!!
They are getting better every year after year Wolfies an amazing guitarist! Of course he is. He learned from the best his father Eddie Van Halen I highly suggest you take the time to go see this band when they’re in your town they rock.
The concert was great. I don’t understand why they didn’t offer seats, except over priced tables. I would have paid more just to be able to sit down. Kind of ridiculous that HOB makes you stand, unless you get the over priced and jammed in seats at a table. I go to many concerts, but will never go back to HOB.
Hell of a show, Nita and band ripped, what a great opener. As for Mammoth, Wolfgang is an amazing musician and singer. I will be waiting for his next trip through San Diego. Hopefully they will play house of blues again, i love that venue.
Wolfgang is a showstopper! He wowed me with his singing and guitar solos. The entire band was on point as well. No mistakes, just pure perfection. I would see them again the next time I have an opportunity. My only complaint is some people in the audience were jerks and a nuisance, but that has nothing to do with Mammoth’s performance. The upside to having a smaller venue was that I was able to get a guitar pick out of it! What a life moment for me. I never had the opportunity to watch Van Halen play, and Eddie was a huge inspiration for me when I started playing guitar. So being able to see an extension of him in Wolfgang, and believe me Wolfie has some chops on guitar that remind me of Ed, it’s almost like I have seen Eddie. Not trying to downplay Wolfgang because he’s on a completely different level, he’s a fast rising star and Mammoth is just getting started. One day, he WILL be known as one of the greats like all of those before him. He’s something special.
Mammoth will take over the world one day. They're just an extremely talented group of men, led by a talented, songwriter, musician, & human .
Parking was so bad that we decided not to even go to the show. So we will no longer be going to any shows at this venue!
Great band, great songs and a great time! Croud really into them. Loved the live version of Take a Bow and the acoustic rendition of Distance.
This was my third time seeing Mammoth WVH and they did not disappoint!!! Wolfie and the guys put in a helluva show! I’ll see them over and over!!
Mammoth and their opener Nita Strauss were awesome! The venue needs some air conditioning!
Both Nita Straus and Mammoth were phenomenal. The knitting factory is a great place to see a show. I wish it were possible to purchase seats before the show. Waiting in line in 34 degree weather is a bit much for a group of concert goers in their 50s and 60s.
I had a great time, music was awesome. Their soundboard guy was dialed in, I could hear everything I wanted to hear and nothing I didn’t.
I went because someone recommended seeing them. I first listened to their material on Spotify, and was hesitant because it wasn't quite my style. But their live show was much better than I expected. I'm my opinion the vocals were better live and that is usually the opposite for most bands.
Mammoth was really good! Nita Stauss was a great choice for an opener I really enjoyed her set!
This is my second time seeing Mammoth WVH and they are just getting better each time. They headlined this concert and it was in a very small, intimate setting which really played to the emotion of their music. If you dont know their music, you should. If you havent seen them in concert, do it!
Wolf and the rest of the band had a super tight performance.. I'll definitely want to see them again.
Mammoth was AMAZING! The sound was spot on and this guy, this band....so damn talented! They had the crowd completely with them. Wolfgang Van Halen isn't riding on his Dad's name; he is carving out his own sound and style and doing it with so much likeability and talent!! Loved every second of this show and would go see the again in a heartbeat!
Great show! The vocals were fantastic! Highly recommend!
This concert was truly a blast. Wolfgang is a terrific musician and seems to genuinely enjoy playing. Smiles a lot, like his dad, and is super engaged with the crowd. He’s made me a fan. This venue is one of my favorite in Boise, small enough to provide a great, intimate experience, yet big enough and with a great setup to draw some great acts….like this!
