About

Magic City Hippies have carved out a distinct place in the indie landscape, blending Miamis sun-soaked swagger with infectious funk, psych-pop, and danceable grooves. What began as the Robby Hunter Band evolved in 2015 with the release of Magic CityHippies, the album that gave the trio its name and solidified a sound both laid-back and relentlessly kinetic.Since then, the band has built a reputation for genre-fluid songwriting and high-energy performances, earning spots at major festivals including Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits, and Lollapalooza.Though their recordings have drawn both critical and fan acclaim, Magic City Hippies are best known for their live shows: sweaty, exuberant, and effortlessly engaging. Their ability to convert casual listeners into loyal fans is no accident, its the result of years ofrelentless touring, musical chemistry, and an unapologetic commitment to making every show feel like a celebration.

I went to this concert enjoying a few of their songs from the most recent album and I left a devoted fan. They put on such a good show and the whole group was on point. I can't believe I hadn't gone to see them play sooner. If you get a chance, don't miss these guys!

Our experience was phenomenal! From the venue (knitting factory Spokane), to the workers, to the performers. Magic City Hippies are SO GOOD live! The openers Josh Fudge and The Palms were amazing too. If you can go see MCH- I highly recommend you do! Super fun night with great music and crowd interaction.

by James W on 1/23/24Brooklyn Bowl Philadelphia - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

Never seen a show at Brooklyn Bowl in Philly. Very solid small venue. The concerts by MCH, The Palms, and Josh Fudge were great. Would see any of them in concert again!

MCH puts on a high energy show. You can know every single song or none at all and still find yourself lost in their music and positive vibes. This was show #4 for me and looking forward to many more!

  • ONCE IN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE

by mimi on 1/21/249:30 CLUB - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

It was INCREDIBLE. I went to see them only because i liked maybe 2 songs and the ticket price was decent but my goodness not a single regret. Even while not knowing every song, it was such an immersive experience with so much character from each member. If you have the chance to see them live, PLEASE TAKE IT! They did not disappoint. I’ve been to about 10 concerts just this past year and they’re my top 2 of all time. Don’t miss on this once in a lifetime experience if you’re able to go!

  • AMAZING SHOW & VENUE

by riguy on 1/18/249:30 CLUB - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

We had a blast at the MCH show. We went specifically to see The Palms, and Josh Fudge and the Magic City Hippies were amazing. The 9:30 Club was such a cool venue. None of us had ever been there, and it provided everything you could need (i.e. multiple bars so getting drinks was super easy, coat check, merch area, food, a downstairs area with a bar where you could escape from the noise if needed, and plenty of space for everyone). We will be back for a show in the future (especially if any of these artists make another appearance!!!

  • The Magic City Hippies A+ Performance

by Reed Rosson on 1/14/24Brooklyn Bowl Nashville - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

The Magic City Hippies brought down the house at Nashville Brooklyn Bowl! Their cover of “Sussudio” was a highlight. Biggest highlight was when the singer came offstage and into the crowd and danced with us and sang with us. It was mind blowing. I’d never heard their music before this show but consider me a new fan of theirs!

  • Never miss a MCH show
