Mothers Day experience
by Just a mom on 5/10/25Rating: 5 out of 5Enjoyed the performance with my adult sons. One who is nonverbal with autism. The Huntsville concert hall provides a sensory bag with items that help him to attend their shows, like a weighted blanket, sunglasses, noise cancelling headphones and a few fidget items. He used the blanket, but nothing more. We had great lower level seats, although the music was powerful, he…we all enjoyed the beautiful sound of the production. The costumes were incredible. The set props were so beautiful and realistic. I completely lost myself in the wonderfully executed performance. Gavroche’s performance was the most outstanding and heart wrenching. I cried at least 4 times, the last confession of Jean Val Jean “to love another person is to see the face of God”…that finished me. My son has been humming intonations of these songs for the past 3 days since we left the theatre. Glad I bought a CD for the car. Loved the show and so thankful the production came to our town so we could enjoy the story on stage. It exceeded my expectations by far.
