About

Cameron Mackintosh presents the acclaimed production of Boublil and Schönberg's Tony Award-winning musical phenomenon, Les Misérables. This brilliant staging has taken the world by storm and has been hailed as "a reborn dream of a production" (Daily Telegraph).

Set against the backdrop of 19th century France, Les Misérables tells an enthralling story of broken dreams and unrequited love, passion, sacrifice and redemption-a timeless testament to the survival of the human spirit. The magnificent score of Les Misérables includes the songs "I Dreamed a Dream," "On My Own," "Bring Him Home," "One Day More" and many more.

  • Les Miserables Touring Company

by Drew on 3/28/25BJCC Concert Hall - BirminghamRating: 5 out of 5

Great seat purchased at the last minute. Single ticket purchasing has always been a great way for me to buy an excellent seat. Les Miserables as always was really well performed. The entire cast and orchestra were spot on.

  • Not what it used to be!

by johnknox on 12/15/24Rating: 2 out of 5

Please bring back the rotating stage!! The show used to be magical now it is just a shell of what it used to be! The music was rushed and it did put off high school musical vibes! I truly was heartbroken and gutted after i saw this production!! To also think that the people at the top completely changed what made people fall in love with this musical in the first place apparently to save some money on production costs is appalling! Have they not made millions on this show over the years just to scrap ot down like an old car!!

  • Excellent!

Took my daughter to see Les Miserables and we both so enjoyed this production!

  • Good, but not great.

by KCH on 12/4/24Orpheum Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 4 out of 5

First, you should know my favorite all time cast members from Les Mis are from the original Broadway and London shows. It's a high bar, which is a little unfair, but that's where I'm coming from. I know the soundtrack forward and backward so when they had increased the tempo for this particular run, I was really thrown off. It took power away from the lyrics and the voices. If they were trying to meet a time limit, they would have been better off leaving some of the smaller, less significant, songs out. You can't rush these iconic songs. It was very disappointing to me and made it hard to sit in the moment because I felt like I was being hurried along the whole way through. The cast was great. The Thenardiers stole the show. Little Gavroche was brilliant. I enjoyed the show overall.

  • The theater staff help was outstanding!

by Rebecca on 12/3/24Orpheum Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 4 out of 5

I had trouble accessing my tickets online for scanning to access the theater. The staff was outstanding and the manager on duty was amazing getting us to the box office to get our tickets without having to go outside as it was bitter cold. The play was great as usual, the condition of seats not so much. We were in orchestra seats and they really do need to be replaced. The seat part is very compressed. We were in row S and we were sitting so low it was difficult to see over the people in front of us so we had to go around them which probably was not the best for the people behind us. All said the experience was positive. Thank you again staff...you are the BEST!

This was an amazing show. The music was perfect, the visuals were stunning. Really can’t say enough about it. I look forward to Les Mis coming back!

  • Phenomenal!!

by Rebecca on 12/3/24Orpheum Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

The production blew us away. Very professional - the stage sets and lighting were first class. Acting and singing was powerful, emotional, evocative. We have never been to a world-class performance before, ala Broadway/West End, and this was over the top. We will be going to more of these types of performances in future!

  • Amazing Performance!!

by Zachary on 12/3/24Orpheum Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

The show was fantastic! The cast was the best I have seen for this show. The only down side is the sound in the Orpheum. This venue always sounds muted.

  • Perfect, No Notes

by SR on 12/3/24Orpheum Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

I have been to this show so many times but this was best touring production of this show I have seen! Incredible detail in the set design and staging, phenomenal performers, no notes!

  • GREATEST SHOW EVER

    by Aixa G on 12/2/24Orpheum Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

There are not enough words in the English language that can truly begin to explain just how phenomenal this show is. From the sets, transitions, the VOCALS, THE ACTORS…it was just so perfect. ZERO COMPLAINTS. This was my first time seeing Les Miserables and I loved it so much that I just had to go see it again…and again AND AGAIN AND AGAIN. I saw it four times in the span of week, it was just that magnificent. I can confidently say that this show is now my favorite form/piece of art that I ever had the pleasure to witness. If you think that this show is anything less than a gift from god then you’re just not from Earth, and that is saying a lot since I’m not even religious. AHHHH I NEED TO GO AGAIN PLEASE COME BACK TO MINNESOTA AHHHH

  • great show, but tempo too fast

by Kat on 12/2/24Orpheum Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 4 out of 5

I saw Les Miz about 30yrs ago, and the tempo of the songs has definitely changed. I understand it's a long musical and they're trying to keep it under 3 hours total, but the speed and dynamics are what convey emotion in a song, and I thought the songs were sung way too fast. otherwise, the cast did a wonderful job and I really enjoyed it!

  • Fantastic!

by Mike on 12/2/24Orpheum Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 4 out of 5

First time seeing this show. Excellent! One very small suggestion--Jean Valjean's volume needed to be turned up.

  • disappointed

by St on 12/2/24Orpheum Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 3 out of 5

we had seen the production several years ago at a different venue. We felt that the first time we saw it was a much better production. The sound was much better and it was easier to understand the actors. I realize the Orpheum is an old theater but it is the most uncomfortable venue I’ve ever been in. The cast was great and the music was wonderful.

  • GREATEST SHOW I HAVE EVER SEEN

    by Aixa G on 12/1/24Rating: 5 out of 5

There are no words that will ever truly capture just how magnificent this show is. I literally went 4 times in the span of a week, it was just that phenomenal. EVERYTHING was astounding, zero complaints here. Les Miserables is the greatest piece of art I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. I’m obsessed. If you think that this show is anything less than a gift from god then you’re just not from Earth. AHHHH I NEED TO GO AGAIN.

  • Outstanding show

I’ve seen the production at least 7 times and it only gets better. The talent is undeniable over the top. Please keep coming back to Minneapolis.

  • Fantastic show

  • The voice of the angels

by Pchill on 11/27/24Orpheum Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

This was a beautiful production. The actors who portrayed Jean Valjean and Javert were extraordinary. The actor who portrayed Thénardier was perfectly slimy, detestable and funny. The entire company offered up a wonderfully entertaining performance. And I can’t leave out the orchestra who’s brilliance highlighted the entire production.
