About
Lake Street Dive have pushed the possibilities of pop music as a unifying force, not only through their eclectic sound--a boldly original cross-pollination of soul, folk, jazz, classic pop, and more--the five-piece's all-embracing ethos has also made them a beloved live band known for building a potent connection among every crowd. In the making of their GRAMMY-nominated album Good Together, vocalist Rachael Price, bassist/background vocalist Bridget Kearney, drummer/background vocalist Mike Calabrese, keyboardist/vocalist Akie Bermiss, and guitarist/background vocalist James Cornelison reinforced the deep sense of purpose behind their output, often turning their attention to the many factors driving us apart today (e.g., unchecked technological growth, culturally imposed isolation, the cult of relentless self-optimization). Born from a mindset they refer to as "joyful rebellion," Good Together arrives as a body of work both gloriously defiant and primed to inspire unbridled dancing and ecstatic singing-along.
The follow-up to 2021's Obviously, Good Together finds Lake Street Dive working again with Grammy-winning producer Mike Elizondo (Fiona Apple, Sheryl Crow, Gary Clark Jr.). With its sonic landscape encompassing everything from R&B to funk to Brazilian pop, the album opens on its title track: a left-of-center love song celebrating the thrill of defying expectation and following your heart's desire. Next, on "Dance with a Stranger," Lake Street Dive once again prove their undeniable gift for crafting feel-good songs with an illuminating message, simultaneously inducing a carefree euphoria and gently fostering empathy. The wildly cathartic "Walking Uphill" presents gripping meditation on the work of self-repair, while "Seats at the Bar" puts a sweetly playful twist on the classic love song. And on "Twenty-Five," Price shares a stark and lovely ballad steeped in tender reminiscence of a long-ago romance. All throughout Good Together, Lake Street Dive tap into the palpable camaraderie that's fueled the band since their formation, ultimately delivering their most collaborative, expansive, and powerfully exuberant work to date.

by Anonymous on 10/12/16Citi Performing Arts Center Wang Theatre - BostonRating: 1 out of 5I love Lake Street Dive, but I was very upset when they started their performance and everyone stood up. Everyone stood throughout the performance . I'm unable to stand for any length of time so I had to sit. Couldn't see the stage. Paid good money and I couldn't see the band. I will never buy another concert ticket.

They Rocked it
by Frowning1 on 10/12/16Radio City Music Hall - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5This was our 5th time seeing LSD live. Radio City is such an amazing space and it seems like it was built for their sound -- especially Rachel's voice. Unfortunately, for us, the big venue just doesn't translate as well as the smaller places where we've seen them previously. They put on a great show, but the overall feel is just not what it is in a more intimate setting. I'm happy for them that they've made the big time, but we won't attend another show unless they decide to continue performing in small places.
Just great
by Maxinespector on 10/12/16Radio City Music Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5I love this group and I just loved this performance at Radio City Music Hall. The whole audience was totally into them.
Great Show
by Angelchatterer28 on 10/12/16Radio City Music Hall - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5Great show, high energy band. Radio City is a great venue. It was a standing concert meaning we had seats but if you sat you couldn't see. Tight band Rachel Price has an amazing voice.
Lake Street Live !!
by Musicmatters27 on 10/11/16Radio City Music Hall - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5This is the 3rd time I am seeing this band and the 3rd time I am blown away by their magical artistry. If you're a sucker for a singer who makes your body tingle with every note but also appreciates, acknowledges and encourages the talents of her band members then this is the event for you! My biggest complaint is Radio City ...the audience sucked and didn't show the respect this band so clearly deserves ...such a shame. Do yourselves a favor and if you're not coming to shake it stay home! I get Radio City is the worst venue in New York but you can still be on your feet showing the band how much they move you. Lake Street Dive come back soon and do me and yourselves a favor and play an all GA venue...you'll never have to beg people to start dancing towards the end of your set...for the record I danced my ass off the whole show so thank you !! xoxo
A high energy show that oozed with cool, fun vibes
by Livingsum on 10/11/16Radio City Music Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5Can't say enough about how great this show was at Radio City. We barely sat down the entire time - singing, dancing and grooving to the incredible infectious joy and sass that is LSD. We had seen LSD a few years back at the Beacon as part of the WFUV benefit. They were great then, but BOY how they have grown into their skin and music. From the moment they came on stage, in silhouette, they owned this audience and took us on a wonderful ride. They could have played another two hours and everyone would have been thrilled. Congrats for making such great music with depth and personality. Looking forward to the next show!
Best Show by Them I've Seen!

LAKE STREET DIVE DID GREAT!
by ABBYMILA on 10/11/16Radio City Music Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5Absolutely a great concert. The band was great with terrific harmony. Rachel Price was excellent. Each member of the group did a highlight part and they worked so well together. One of the best concerts ever.

Lake Street Love
by Bandog on 10/11/16Radio City Music Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5I have been following this band for years and their show is tighter and more professional every time I see them. They are simply on fire - musicianship, songwriting, collaboration, it's all there and it keeps getting better. Rachael Price is THE voice of the century, a powerfully sultry and nuanced tornado. Bridget Kearney's bass chops are massive - she commands her instrument with the force of a lion trainer. Mike Calabrese is all over it on the drums and a blast when he chimes in on vocals. Mike "McDuck" Olsen lays down tastefully cool rhythm and lead guitar and soulful trumpet lines. All members contribute original material, the bulk of it coming from Bridget and McDuck. Their cover material is fresh in interpretation and execution - a dead-on "Bohemian Rhapsody" closed out the show with enough flirty flash to make Freddie Mercury proud. It's been a pleasure to watch these amazing performers hone their craft and gain recognition. The audience was enthusiastic and Lake Street Dive was overwhelmed and grateful for the love. They deserve it and you deserve to treat yourself when they come to your town.
Solid musicians
by TheJerd on 10/11/16Radio City Music Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5It's always refreshing when you get to see a band that, individually are phenomenal musicians and performers, but have been playing together for so long that they are so tight on stage. This allows them to joke around and act silly but still just nailing every song flawlessly. I always prefer smaller venues, but getting to play big venues like Radio City allows them to branch out and do more things they wouldn't have gotten to. It's also nice to see them just reeling in the moment and appreciating where they came from and the hard work they did. Lake Street Dive works in any venue, because they have the raw talent. They even did some stripped down versions of their songs singing in a quartet formation. It just shows you they don't need the flashy lights and props, they stand on their own with just their skills. It's always a surprise to hear a new cover they made their own and to hear the favorites you came to see. If you haven't seen them, you should do so immediately. They are a fun band with some great personalities. As for the venue, it was very well organized and the staff was in point. It's a well oiled machine here. You don't have to worry about one obnoxious person ruining your night, the staff is very attentive and makes sure it's enjoyable for everyone. The bathrooms are clean, the staff is polite. It may sound dumb, but if you buy any merch, they have plastic bags for it and it was very quick and courteous. The merchandise is clearly laid out in a display area. I hadn't been here in a long time and I wish I got to come more often.

Lake Street Dive...Sooooo good!
by Laurenjess on 10/11/16Radio City Music Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5What a great venue at Radio City Mysic Hall. Fitting for such an original and talented group, Lake Street Dive. Amazing sound and enthusiastic performance. True entertainers! There really was no bad seat in the house as far as sound goes. Unfortunately we're directly behind the sound boards, and their lighting took away from our ability to see as well as we had hoped.
LSD Was Tight
by RABEye on 10/11/16Radio City Music Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5Lake Street Dive at Radio City was great. This was their first performance at the venerable Music Hall. It's a big venue, and Rachel Price commanded it.
