Lake Street Dive have pushed the possibilities of pop music as a unifying force, not only through their eclectic sound--a boldly original cross-pollination of soul, folk, jazz, classic pop, and more--the five-piece's all-embracing ethos has also made them a beloved live band known for building a potent connection among every crowd. In the making of their GRAMMY-nominated album Good Together, vocalist Rachael Price, bassist/background vocalist Bridget Kearney, drummer/background vocalist Mike Calabrese, keyboardist/vocalist Akie Bermiss, and guitarist/background vocalist James Cornelison reinforced the deep sense of purpose behind their output, often turning their attention to the many factors driving us apart today (e.g., unchecked technological growth, culturally imposed isolation, the cult of relentless self-optimization). Born from a mindset they refer to as "joyful rebellion," Good Together arrives as a body of work both gloriously defiant and primed to inspire unbridled dancing and ecstatic singing-along.
The follow-up to 2021's Obviously, Good Together finds Lake Street Dive working again with Grammy-winning producer Mike Elizondo (Fiona Apple, Sheryl Crow, Gary Clark Jr.). With its sonic landscape encompassing everything from R&B to funk to Brazilian pop, the album opens on its title track: a left-of-center love song celebrating the thrill of defying expectation and following your heart's desire. Next, on "Dance with a Stranger," Lake Street Dive once again prove their undeniable gift for crafting feel-good songs with an illuminating message, simultaneously inducing a carefree euphoria and gently fostering empathy. The wildly cathartic "Walking Uphill" presents gripping meditation on the work of self-repair, while "Seats at the Bar" puts a sweetly playful twist on the classic love song. And on "Twenty-Five," Price shares a stark and lovely ballad steeped in tender reminiscence of a long-ago romance. All throughout Good Together, Lake Street Dive tap into the palpable camaraderie that's fueled the band since their formation, ultimately delivering their most collaborative, expansive, and powerfully exuberant work to date.

This band is excellent live! The sound was flawless! Fun show in a great venue.
The opening act was wonderful and I enjoyed it. Then the main event Lake Street Dive was everything I hoped it would be and even more! They sounded amazing and I love them! I would definitely recommend them to everyone I know and I will be going to see them again.
Lake Street Dive put on a great show. They played for a long time and had a great turnout. Looking forward to seeing them playing again soon.
Simply amazing - The vocal range was just incredible and the overall performance has made my daughter and I fans for life. We can’t wait to see them again and again. Not to mention that the opening band Mikaela Davis and her angelic voice completely took us by surprise. We were blown away by the whole show. What an awesome night!
This was my third time seeing Lake Street Dive. Just an amazing band and performance every time. Incredible venue. There was no bad seat in the amphitheater and the sound from the stage was the best I've ever experienced.
Great performance, great venue. They get better each time I see them.
The band and venue was amazing! Great for a date night
This was a fabulous performance; the band always puts on a great show. They are very talented and quite awesome. Will see them again and again!
Great show - and great venue plus really good crowd. My 15 year old who loves Lake Street Dive had a great time!!
Great voice, phenomenal trumpet work, drums with vocals, and the cello provides original sound!
Lake Street Dive has been on my bucket list for a few years. The show was amazing. Rachael has a truly special voice, and so do Bridget and the two Mikes in their roles. Mike the drummer is also very talented as a song writer and a Philly area (Broomall) native. A great show!!!
This was my first time at the Fillmore and love the venue! It’s my third time seeing Lake Street Dive and they never cease to amaze!!
This was the best night! Lake Street Dive is my favorite band and they did not disappoint! It was a perfect blend of new tunes, old favorites, and amazing covers. Loved that Mike Calabrese was wearing a Philadelphia Eagles shirt during the show. Mikaela Davis was a good opener. Makes great music and rocks on the harp. But waved goodnight before the last song in her set was over. But it's super cool that both her and Lake Street Dive come out after an amazing show to meet fans and sign autographs. The Fillmore Philly is an excellent place to see a show. Great layout, not cramped. Wished the parking situation was better. But plenty of places around the Fillmore Philly for a bite or drink before or after the show.
Lake Street Dive is always on point. My wife and parents went and we all had a blast
Lake Street Dive never disappoint. I’ve seen them about 15 times and it just gets better and better.
It does not get any better. When the audience is literally dancing in the aisles and in their seats you have a successful concert. The only drawback was that the sound system for the opening act was way too loud. For Lake Street Dive it was better but also a bit louder than necessary. Bring ear plugs to dampen he background sounds from the stage.
Since my first time seeing Lake Street Dive (LSD) on TV - I've been impressed with them. The event, some kind of TV concert promoting the film Inside Llewyn Davis. Anyway, I was simply blown away - and have traveled to see them live twice so far - the last was this past weekend at the Ulster Performing theater in Kingston, NY. The songs, i believe all composed by the members themselves are terrific. But the musical magic and energy produced by these musicians on stage is unbelievable. The tunes are current-sounding, memorable and very well arranged. The lead singer simply has too much charm, beauty and talent - she'll absolutely seduce you. Her singing is flawlessly supported by a guitar/trumpet player, who skillfully fills ALL the necessary chords and tones, a drummer who masterly lays down the perfect percussion track, and probably my favorite of all, the bass player who attacks the song from every possible angle. For this show (and the new CD), LSD added a keyboard player who was also amazing. Having said all that - and as an old Doo Wop guy from way back - I must credit the incredible harmonies produced by LSD- they're absolutely non-stop at times - ALL the members pump them out and it catapults their delicious songs into high earth orbit.
This show was incredible. The new album is magic. Rachel’s voice is even better live and she dances through the show which makes us all excited and dancing with her. We got a treat when the keyboard player sang shania Twain too... holy pipes! Y’all shook me to my core! I had so much fun! If you haven’t checked this band out yet, I double dog dare you!
I love to hear new music (stuff I have never heard before). I believe i'm the minority in making that statement as the audience was mostly quiet for the majority of the new material. That said the show was amazing for me & OK for my wife that enjoys hearing songs that are familiar to her ear. BTW still waiting for the free CD's ?
