About

Lake Street Dive have pushed the possibilities of pop music as a unifying force, not only through their eclectic sound--a boldly original cross-pollination of soul, folk, jazz, classic pop, and more--the five-piece's all-embracing ethos has also made them a beloved live band known for building a potent connection among every crowd. In the making of their GRAMMY-nominated album Good Together, vocalist Rachael Price, bassist/background vocalist Bridget Kearney, drummer/background vocalist Mike Calabrese, keyboardist/vocalist Akie Bermiss, and guitarist/background vocalist James Cornelison reinforced the deep sense of purpose behind their output, often turning their attention to the many factors driving us apart today (e.g., unchecked technological growth, culturally imposed isolation, the cult of relentless self-optimization). Born from a mindset they refer to as "joyful rebellion," Good Together arrives as a body of work both gloriously defiant and primed to inspire unbridled dancing and ecstatic singing-along.

The follow-up to 2021's Obviously, Good Together finds Lake Street Dive working again with Grammy-winning producer Mike Elizondo (Fiona Apple, Sheryl Crow, Gary Clark Jr.). With its sonic landscape encompassing everything from R&B to funk to Brazilian pop, the album opens on its title track: a left-of-center love song celebrating the thrill of defying expectation and following your heart's desire. Next, on "Dance with a Stranger," Lake Street Dive once again prove their undeniable gift for crafting feel-good songs with an illuminating message, simultaneously inducing a carefree euphoria and gently fostering empathy. The wildly cathartic "Walking Uphill" presents gripping meditation on the work of self-repair, while "Seats at the Bar" puts a sweetly playful twist on the classic love song. And on "Twenty-Five," Price shares a stark and lovely ballad steeped in tender reminiscence of a long-ago romance. All throughout Good Together, Lake Street Dive tap into the palpable camaraderie that's fueled the band since their formation, ultimately delivering their most collaborative, expansive, and powerfully exuberant work to date.

  • The Best Band Ever

We had a great time at the lake street dive concert. The venue in Chattanooga was great. The acoustics were really good. We had a wonderful time.

  • A Fantastic Show

We saw LSD at memorial Auditorium in Chattanooga. We've seen them twice before, once at a larger venue (Red Rocks) and once in a small outdoor venue (in Austin) that was way too overcrowded and we couldn't get very close. This time we had great seats and could appreciate the stage show better as well as the music. Both were awesome and I felt that the band and the crowd was really into each other. They are great performers as well as musicians. I like the new band lineup better than the original. They played a lot of new songs that aren't out yet. One of the best shows that I've seen in a while. You need to see this tour.

  • Lake Street Dive ROCKS!

by Kim on 11/8/23Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Auditorium - ChattanoogaRating: 5 out of 5

We purchased the VIP experience, and it did not disappoint. Getting to meet the group, ask questions, and listen to a few songs, started things off great. Then, they're opening act was worthy of her own show. Finally the group was absolutely at the top of their craft. Can't wait for the next time!

  • Unbelievable in every way

Great venue with terrific music. Lake Street Dive was tremendous. Monica Martin was soulful and genuine. It was amazing!

  • Fantastic Show

    by Joevanney on 11/2/23F.M. Kirby Center - Wilkes-BarreRating: 5 out of 5

So much talent on one stage. First part of the show was an acoustic set that was phenomenal. The band then transitioned to a more traditional set before taking requests. One of the best shows I have ever seen. Can’t wait to see this group again.

  • Best Show

by Hannah on 11/2/23DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - DurhamRating: 5 out of 5

The Opener, Monica Martin, was amazing! She fit a similar vibe to Lake Street Dive. The band was also amazing. People were up dancing and singing along. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

  • Lake Street Dive is phenomenal. Their fans? Not so much.

by Al on 11/2/23Sandler Center For The Performing Arts - VIRGINIA BEACHRating: 3 out of 5

We saw Lake Street Dive at the Sandler Center, and now having seen them twice, let me tell you, they know how to put on a show. The band is as talented as ever and you can tell their heart and soul is in everything they do. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by fans in the row behind us who were so noisy and rude that at times, it was almost impossible to hear Bridget’s nimble bass work, let alone Rachel’s beautiful vocals. So here’s a reminder for all Lake Street Dive fans - we’re paying to hear the band, not you.

  • Awesome Lake Street Dive

We traveled from Colorado to see Lake Street Dive. They didn’t fail to make the trip well worth it. I can’t say enough great things about this musical group. Well worth it THANK YOU!!

  • As usual, the band was tight and the songs were wonderful

by AMDove on 10/31/23DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - DurhamRating: 5 out of 5

It was a great show. The small acoustic sets and the full stage sets were great! I loved what they did with the performance. Taking requests was bold and boy, did it pay off! My fifth Lake Street Dive show in NC. This was the pinnacle.

Lake Street Drive concert at DPAC was perfect. Loved the production choices to have a few different configurations for different style sets. The whole thing was just top notch and so much fun. Monica Martin, the opener, has a gorgeous voice and such entertaining personal stories. I cant wait for her to stop laying carpet in her ex’s apartment and Finish her Album!!!

  • Fantastic show

    by Mad on 10/30/23F.M. Kirby Center - Wilkes-BarreRating: 5 out of 5

Lake Street Dive exceeded my expectations with their performance. Fantastic energy and amazing performance. They sounded exactly like their studio recordings. The part where they play song suggestions was really cute and thoughtful, I imagine those whose suggestions were picked really had a special night because of that. Plus they had an excellent opener with an impeccable voice.

  • Fantastic

by Shawna on 10/30/23Sandler Center For The Performing Arts - VIRGINIA BEACHRating: 5 out of 5

I was supposed to see Lake Street Dive a few years ago (pre pandemic) but it didn't work out and I had to sell my ticket so the anticipation was STRONG for this concert and they absolutely did not disappoint. There is always the fear that a band you love may not have the same sound live that they do from recording..well have no fear-they're even better in person. If you're waffling on going or not-GO! SEE THEM. They're amazing!!!

  • Great Show!

I’ve been following Lake Street Dive for several years and was so excited to finally see them. They didn’t disappoint! Great songs, interesting arraignments, and of course Rachael’s beautiful and soulful voice made for an incredible concert. I’d happily travel to see them again!

  • Fabulous!

Great band! The Sandler is a great venue! Hope they return!

  • Lake Street Dive

by Eric on 10/28/23Sandler Center For The Performing Arts - VIRGINIA BEACHRating: 4 out of 5

This band is fantastic! The only negative is the opening act, Monica Martin. I found her songs and endless patter tedious and not at all entertaining. BTW; I was unable to download my tickets from your site. I had to go to the box office to have the tickets printed.

  • Great to have LSD touring again!

    by RMM on 10/28/23F.M. Kirby Center - Wilkes-BarreRating: 5 out of 5

As usual, Lake Street Dive was AWESOME in Wilkes Barre PA!!! It was their first concert touring in a while - so wonderful to have them back! It seemed that they only played one song from their latest album - Obviously. I could have missed one. I so look forward to hearing new songs from my favorite group! Hope they can tour the northeast soon!!!!
