Jon Lovitz Tickets

I thought it was very fun! I’ve always liked Jon Lovitz (age 32) and was happy to have the opportunity to see him live. I wasn’t really sure what to expect having never seen him do standup but had a generally high expectation from his work over the years and I was not disappointed. I took my mother (age 70) who also very much enjoyed it. He covered a wide range of current and past social topics and had jokes specific to recent events in this particular region showing his endless ability to react to whatever is happening and spin it into something humorous. For someone sensitive to profanity and in general offended easily; this probably is not the show for you. For anyone who has enjoyed any of his comedy over the years from SNL to films and onward I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.

Took my kids as we were all SNL Lovitz fans, but our perception of him is forever changed. He started out great but soon lost us and about half the audience with all his punching down, particularly of the LGBTQ+ community and women. The misogyny was rampant. The worst part was that the punching down jokes weren't even particularly clever. I thought he was smarter than this. Oh well... We came out and trashed his Best Of DVD; we now know what kind of person he is.

I enjoyed seeing Jon Lovitz, but unfortunately can't say it was especially memorable. I'd probably give the performance about a "C", and I most likely would not see him again. He concentrated too much on politics (even though it was "both sides" for once), and that wasn't very appealing.

We were a party of 4 with 2 adult sons- we all thought he was funny and entertaining-it was only an hour but a great evening.

We saw Jon Lovitz on May 26th at the laugh factory in Las Vegas. The first half of his show was enjoyable. -personal stories and funny jokes. The second half was offensive to me. There was a crude joke about private parts and a monologue about Bob Saget possibly being gay. I thought it was inappropriate as Bob Saget has recently died. Mr. Lovitz should consider revising the second part of his show.

We have loved Lovitz since the first time we saw him on SNL. He was our very favorite performer out of the many, many people that we saw on the show. When I saw that we had a chance to see his show on our 50th wedding anniversary, I knew that was the perfect choice for our celebration. I was right!!! He had us laughing from his story about his friend traveling through outer space to his somewhat gross love of Bob Saget. My husband only adds “safety first” because that’s all he ever says.

He was just ok. He is entertaining if you do not have anything better to do.

Thursday night show that didn’t have much energy. Getting a cab afterwards was a 45 min wait and we were 7th in line. People not coming to the Trop means no cabs available. Won’t make that mistake again.

Show on 2/16/2023 at the Tropica, Las Vegas was a huge let down!

He seemed off. Not very funny or engaging. He also seemed sick. We wished he would have done some of the old SNL stuff

Straight out of SNL, clever humor on topical social stuff. Same guy you see in the movies, pulls no punches.

He was great. He joked about many subjects equally. He is an amazing singer also. He really engaged the audience. The opening act was excellent also.

Jokes were the jokiest. Multiple ha ha's. Much great.

It was very funny, (just not one for children.) I loved that he joked about hot topics like politics and marriage/couples.

Had a great time. Laughed a lot. He was very entertaining. Tropicana did a great job with the venue. Definitely would go see him again. Would have liked to have seen him projected on the large screens above for some of us sitting behind tall people.

Very offended, lots of folks walked out. I would have too if I wasn't stuck in the middle of a row of tight seating. Very disappointed!

Great show, terrible seating. I had the person on my right and left flowing over into my seat, yet neither person were large people!

Jon gives a fun show and was well worth the money.

Very funny! Jon had everyone laughing with a balance between his script material and improv. I am very happy to have been able to see his show, it was an awesome time!

This show was fantastic! Our first time seeing Jon Lovitz in person and also our first time at the Las Vegas Laugh Factory. Could not have gone better. Small setting was perfect for a personal experience and Jon was hysterical! Great way to pay tribute to an actor and comedian whom I've admired since his SNL days.
