Orca Ballroom good size for comedy show. But seats too close together!! Would like to have Joel talk 15-20min longer. Hilarious!

We were Soup fans so we had to see Joel. He did a great job. I was not disappointed. I’m glad he kept the politics to a minimum. You could laugh at everything no matter what your views. I will see him again when in the area.

    Not worth the money

    by MAK on 2/25/20

First want to start out by saying how much I enjoyed the opening act. He was great! Funny to the point of my cheeks were hurting by the time he left the stage. However, I can not say the same for Joel. His material was just OK but what bothered me the most was how often he picked up his phone to check what time it was. It was like he was required to do a certain number of minutes and he wasn't going to go a minute over. It just really made me feel like he did not want to be there which made me lose interest in what he was saying. It's sad cause I was really looking forward to seeing him and while I had a good time I don't think it was worth the money.

    Worst comedy show

    by K on 2/25/20Mohegan Sun Pocono - Wilkes-Barre

I did not find the show funny at all. Both comedians had to insert expletives a million times just to fill empty space. The audience barely reacted to any jokes. So disappointed I wasted money and time on this show.

    Ok, not great

    by D. Y. on 2/25/20Mohegan Sun Pocono - Wilkes-Barre

The set was ok, a couple laughs to be had but felt more like an actor playing a comedian than a stand up comedian. I always found him funny on tv but his stand up was a little lackluster. Tix. prices were reasonable so it was worth the price of the tix but I see several comedy shows a year and this one was just ok. Good for a night out but if you are really looking to laugh go see a working comedian, Joel is an actor doing comedy.

    Better on the soup

by Annieb on 3/29/19The Paramount - Huntington

Im a big fan of Joel McHale. I loved him on the Soup and I watched his Netflix show. I felt his stand up could have been a little more organized. He repeated himself a lot and it was almost as if he wasn't prepared. He is better as a host. He should have his own talk show forget the standup routine.

    Joel mchale

by Disappointed on 3/26/19Tropicana Showroom - Atlantic City

Have attended comedy at AC for years - this had to be the worst - seemed like he just wanted to get out of there. He just rattled on - didn't seem to be talking to audience. Talked about worst cities - Denver, Phoenix - nobody in nj cares! Nobody around us laughing. Funniest thing was when heckler got up and left - hope it was a setup. That was funny !

    Joel McHale at the Tropicana

    by j. d. on 3/26/19Tropicana Showroom - Atlantic City

My husband & I were so looking forward to seeing Joel for the first time. We both really wanted to do alot of laughing. Unfortunately that was not the case. He was not really funny. Never came up for air and never moved from the right side of the stage, as if that is where the stage began & ended. We were two rows from the stage but on the left side, or maybe I should say the left out side. Seemed more of non stop dialogue of making fun of all the worst states he has performed. Sadly, we were very disappointed and the audience did not seem impressed. First & last for Joel McHale.

    Joel McHale

by Phillie cheese on 3/25/19The Paramount - Huntington

Everything about the experience was good. My wife friend and I were able to find parking close to the venue. The security was great, real professionals. Drinks were a little insanely priced. 2 beers for 30 dollars. Joel and the opening performer were great. Joel really killed.
