Wonderful play . A little distracting with people coming and going up and down the aisles
The show was absolutely amazing…at least what I could see and what wasn’t being interrupted. People came almost 30 minutes late and were still being ushered into the theater disrupting the actors and the spectators around them. It was like the Wild West and wildly disappointing. Kudos to the actors who kept the show going and shame on Boch for allowing everyone who followed the rules and showed up on time to have their experience ruined.
A really good show! The acting, the singing, the music, the direction, the costumes…everything was great! Keep in mind though that it lasts 1,5 hours, with NO intermission, so think twice before you take really small children with you! Our 6yo did well, but apparently there were other children in the audience who didn’t.
My wife and I left the show 30 minutes in. The sound up in the balcony was very hard to hear the show clearly. On top of that, children were talking and kicking our seats the whole time without the parents doing anything about it. 20 minutes after the show started people were still walking to their seats right across sight of view. I understand it’s a show primarily aimed at kids, but I feel there should have been a restriction on kids below a certain age. I should be able to enjoy the show as much as anyone else without constant distractions
Theatre is beautiful and well maintained but unfortunately the show was very boring. Been to many shows at The Palace in NH and was on par with that. Given the cost difference, not worth it.
Kicked off the holiday season with friends and family at the Grinch musical, and what a festive start it was! The timeless story we all love came to life in such a fun and exciting way—it was a delight to see how the musical captured the essence of the classic while adding its own unique twists. A standing ovation for the Grinch actor, who stole the show with charisma and humor, and endless kudos to the costume and decoration teams for their incredible creativity. Every detail was pure holiday magic! Thank you
Performers and show itself was amazing. Logistics a little messy... we were able to finally go to our seats at 645pm which left little time for everyone to get seated on time especially with smaller children. People coming in late blocking the show was kind of annoying because you cannot see the stage until they figure themselves out.
The costumes were stunning, the scenery fantastic and looked very Seusical! Perfectly wonderful! Acting was fantastic and fun for all ages.
We were very excited to hear that the Grinch was having a live musical and bought tickets on row 3 and row 4 balcony. We loved the songs, costumes, across, souvenirs, and a lot everything else. The only issue was that it was very difficult to hear what the actors were saying over the orchestra. Some words that were said seem to blend and sounded like mumbling but I’m sure it’s only because they needed to turn up on the volume mics. We all have sat on the balcony before for other musicals and didn’t have this issue. Hope this review helps!
What a great show. I was laughing and singing through the entire performance. All of the characters did a spectacular job. The grinch was wild and kept us laughing. I'd love to see it again
An awesome first broadway musical , very entertaining.
I know the story. I even watched the movie last week. But the performance was so good that I got emotional and could not stop from crying at the end. It was that good!
Went with my children and they had amazing time. The musical numbers were fun and vibrant and the comedy was top tier.
I wasn’t sure how our 5YO would do at a live performance, but she LOVED IT! Can’t wait to do it again next year!
This show was adorable and a great experience for any grinch fan. It stays pretty close to the book, which loyalists like me appreciate. Told from Max the dogs perspective as an older dog. Songs and added content make sense. Sets are blown up drawings from the children’s book. Very family friendly. Though he is a tad scary to start the show. Great time and merch wasn’t outrageously priced.
GA-grrrrrinch! its a go see, excellent and family friendly
Just a fantastic, Family Friendly show. Acting and singing was incredible. Sets and costumes. Unbelievable, gorgeous. Little Cindy, acting and singing was amazing. Older Max, loved him too. The grinch was grinch. Definitely worth seeing. I’m 60 was going to take my granddaughter, which was sick the day of the show so took my 36- year old son and he enjoyed it too.
Yes, there were lots of kids but also many groups of adults. I planned our date night and this was a hit! From the live orchestra, to the acting and all the vivid colors in between.
A poor regurgitation of the movie/book. Not much comedy and the dialogue was not well written or performed. Save your money.
