It was a fun show! The cast, especially Cindy Who, was fantastic! Food at the venue sucked!
The show was a wonderful trip down memory lane. This presentation primarily stayed with the plot of the original book/cartoon. Kids young and old really enjoyed it. The only drawn back was the cost of concessions and souvenirs were outrageously expensive (e.g., $94 for 2 stuffed toys).
It was old school Seuss, black, white and red with Grinch in Green. Very cool take on a classic. Cindy Lou Who was a treat. Worth seeing, fun for the whole family
Such a great performance! It was funny, it was family friendly and I would go again.
The show was was excellent. The theater could do something about there seats. There is no leg room. I'm not a tall person but I was hitting the chair in front of me. I really felt sorry for. The person a couple seats over they had their knees up to there chests.
Had an absolute blast!! It was funny and cute for both kids and adults made me ready for Christmas Season !!!
The person who played the Grinch was amazing. The rest of the cast was great as well but he stole the show.
I took my four granddaughters and they truly loved it. One was glued to her seat. One was dancing around like the grinch. The others were too cool for that. One said she didnât like it she loooved it.
This was a surprise gift for me as everyone in my family knows I LOVE the Grinch! The performance was really nice and experience was worth every penny.
This was an amazing production of the classic How the Grinch Stole Christmas! It was a good blend of the classic cartoon and the Jim Carrey version but with a unique touch of it's own. The actor that played the Grinch did an outstanding job! He was hilarious and was in every way the Grinch. He engaged the audience a lot and did not just "play the part ". Old Max was a wonderful edition as the third person narrator of the events of that Christmas. All the other performers were amazing as well and definitely were very Who-like. The special effects were well done, especially when young Max and the Grinch ride down the mountain to steal Christmas. Overall, an excellent performance and well worth seeing!
We really enjoyed the show. Lots of laughs & giggles.
The show was absolutely lovely...what we could hear of it. The actors were extremely hard to hear in general. However The large man standing in the light and sound are decided to sing along with and repeat lines with the actors, making them even more difficult to understand. This man also chose to chortle and guffaw loudly throughout the entire performance. Not the best experience we have had at the Orpheum.
The show was good and funny. Everybody in it did a wonderful job. It was a wonderful experience. I never been to a play.
Cast and performance was top notch. Great show for kids and Grinch-loving adults.
We had pretty good seats and could see the entire stage, the musical was cute. A few grown up jokes slid in that the adults could giggle at and lots of laughs for the kids. Very cute and holiday spirited over all. The guy playing the lead character did a great job, very impressive. He played the role much like Jim Carrey did in the movie version. I took an 11 year old and an 18 year old, and we all three enjoyed ourselves.
I personally loved the show however my kids ages 5-9 had trouble keeping their attention on the show. Not sure if they were too young or if something could have been different to keep their attention longer.
I love watching musicals plays to get the best of them. The best part it brings is comedy of laughter, love with joy, friendships and so much more for you to enjoy watching it in person live. The orpheum is the top place that I would highly recommend for seeing anything.
This was a great performance. I'm not a huge Grinch fan, but my two grandchildren loved it. I enjoyed watching their little faces light up when the characters came on stage. It was well worth the money I spent just to see their faces.
We absolutely loved it! Our five and eleven year olds couldnât take their eyes off the stage! The music was just as though Dr. Seuss wrote it himself. It was the perfect balance of story telling, theater and music.
The musical was awesome it exceeded my expectations.I dont know who enjoyed it the most me or my granny.I loved the Grinch and his sense of humor.Thank you for no intermission.A must see.Everyone was awesome. Thanks for coming to Memphis.
