This was the best play I have seen at The FOX in a very long time!!!
I didn't like it. The narrator was Maxx the dog when he was old. Not enough dialogue. It just wasn't fun.
Show was musical, and entertaining. Costumes were nice
Bring your whole family, or yourself, to witness this amazing display of "raw" talent!
Don't go to this show thinking it will be everything the TV "Grinch" is, and more. It's much, much less. Uninspired songs, lots of burp and fart jokes.... it made me wish we'd saved our money and watched the DVD at home. The one saving grace: the tremendously cute little girl who plays the littlest Who.

The performance was pretty good. It reminded me more of the Jim Carey movie than the original. Glad I did not pay full price for the tickets. !!!!! DO NOT BUY PARKING PASS TO THE FOX!!!!!!! They oversold parking passes and there were not spaces. Not only were there no spaces, but the parking garage dead ends, so there were about 25 cars with no space that were backed up in the parking garage. We were stuck with no space to even turn around. They had to get everyone to back out.
I want to see it again Better than the movie funny and the effects were incredible my daughter loved it!!!!!
The cast, especially the actor who played "The Grinch", had an outstanding performance. The music and dancing kept us entertained the whole show through. The interaction with the crowd was fun and the kids would love it!
The Grinch stole the show. Cindy Lou Who was great, too.
Grinch actor was better than any Grinch every played on screen or stage.
It was openning night and I am not sure what the problem was at the Fox theater in Atlanta. The event was delayed by 20 minutes and did not start until 8:20 PM. The Fox opened the doors to the theater at 7PM but would not let anyone in their seats until almost 8 pm. You could hear the cast rehearsing almost until 8PM. Maybe it was openning night jitters. The overcrowding in the consession areas was terrible due to the delay. As for the event itself, the Grinch character was enjoyable but for the remainder of the characters, it was average and not worth the $400.00 I spent on 5 tickets.
The Broadway Across America Production of How The Grinch Stole Christmas was a great show at the fabulous Fox! The set design, the costumes, the orchestra, everything was wonderful. I did find it very unusual that the show started 20 minutes late without any explanation. Normally, I wouldn't mind because just being at the Fox is a real treat, but I took my 10 year old son to see the show on a school night and I was eager to get home asap. I've never known a show to start even 5 minutes late at the Fox - thinks are usually very prompt there.
It was the first performance in Atlanta, so there were some sound/balance issues especially during the first 45 minutes. Often choral ensemble was clearly unbalanced with individual solos lost and individuals sticking out terribly in the opening choruses and some lines were distorted to the point that the line was completely missed. BUT . . . overall the show was wonderfully entertaining and well worth the ticket price and more.
This production was very well done. It engaged the audience both young and old alike. Wonderful new music plus the old favorites from the original animated version. It was the perfect beginning to the Chritmas season for me!
