  • The best

by Brett on 3/1/22The Met Philadelphia - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

I owe Jordan so much. For all of his help and guidance that I have integrated into my life. He is like the father that I never had. I have never seen someone with so much public courage, who genuinely wants the best for people. Thank you Jordan. Your talk was incredible and I hope you can do this for years to come.

  • The show was Awesome!

by Artisan Al on 2/28/22Orpheum Theatre presented by Citizens - BostonRating: 2 out of 5

Ticketmaster required vacs cards for the show even though the city of Boston and state of Massachusetts do not also the Orpheum theater did not list this requirement.

  • Amazing as expected

It was great! It was even better than I thought it would be. Thank you Prof. Jordan Peterson.

  • He makes common sense a bit more common

by Anna on 2/28/22Orpheum Theatre presented by Citizens - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Listening to Dr. Peterson is humbling. He is extremely smart and coherent. He makes common sense a bit more common. My only criticism is that he spends very little time addressing the questions sent by the audience,

  • Dissapointed

This man has helped me see things and think differently in ways that made me a better person but the show was a little disappointing. I felt like he rambled and I couldn't not follow a lot of what he was saying. Also, I bought the VIP package which included meet and greet but the tickets didn't allow for that as there was option 1 and 2. That was not clear when purchasing the tickets.

  • Great Speaker

by Double R on 2/27/22Orpheum Theatre presented by Citizens - BostonRating: 4 out of 5

Very enjoyable talk. The venue had some logistics and security problems that led to a late start, but once it was underway, it was very stimulating.

  • Jordan B. Peterson and the venue

by Onca Pintada on 2/27/22Orpheum Theatre presented by Citizens - BostonRating: 4 out of 5

The venue needs a facelift! Looking pretty shabby. Dr. Peterson has been through hell and back. I am a fan; that does not mean I do not notice his shortcomings. At this time, he is a professor emeritus and thus enters into a new epoch; he is doing so both with courage and trepidation. It is admirable his family bond; we NEED evidence for extended families now more than ever...with housing prices so high and family supports in shambles in the dominant culture. So, it is great that his daughter has an important role in the family business. It is lovely to see this unfolding. I admire that aspect about what he embodies. However, I do think he should take a few (long) meditation retreats. Seriously! He is very entangled in the head...a respite in Zen practice would help him tremendously to unwind into a true wisdom. An embodied wisdom...not an attachment to an intellectual one. I would love to see a Jordan B. Peterson presenting his lecture tours after a few month long mindfulness, or loving kindness (metta) retreats. I think it would be fantastic to see!

  • Topic — Don't do things you hate

by Rocky on 2/27/22Orpheum Theatre presented by Citizens - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Time and money well spent: I consider these events an investment in myself as much as anything. The lecture was fantastic. It cannot be overstated how uncomfortable the seating is at the Orpheum. The seats are small even for theater seats; they're ancient, poorly marked, rickety, and squishy. I'm 5' 6 1/2" and crossing and uncrossing my legs felt like a contortionist routine. The best way to prepare for a show at the Orpheum would be to lose weight and do a lot of yoga. Good luck. JBP on the other hand is one of the more agile and interesting minds out there today and an evening spent listening to him think out loud is never an evening wasted. I'm going back for the next JBP lecture at the Orpheum, in May, regardless of the wretched seats.

  • Worth every penny. Epic speaker, intellect and human being.

by Allie on 2/27/22Orpheum Theatre presented by Citizens - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Great event, bad venue. We waited 1.5 hours in line outside on a very cold night in a line four blocks long and the event started 1 hour late . No elevator - my 80 year old husband barely made it up the three flights of stairs with no handrail to balcony to tiny seats with no legroom - I’m 5’5” and not fat and my legs had to splay and pushed against seat in front of me. I get it’s an historic theatre but it needs to be renovated. I was amazed that huge events are permitted in this decrepit theatre. Almost everyone took off masks once in seats so mask rule was not enforced except to enter. Boston should do better.

  • Incredibly thought-provoking

by Sarah on 2/27/22Orpheum Theatre presented by Citizens - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

What makes JP so great is also what invites disruptors. Aside from the protests outside and one or two hecklers, Dr. Peterson provided a fantastic experience. I was in awe the entire time watching him think and articulate meaningful pieces of wisdom. I'll definitely go to see him again anytime he's in my area.

  • Quite the (Mixed) Experience

by PBosco on 2/27/22Orpheum Theatre presented by Citizens - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Jordan Peterson is deep - incredibly deep. Dr. Peterson is the most brilliant mind of our time. Sadly, we live in a society of solipsists - an oxymoron if there ever was one. But Dr. Peterson is a voice of reason in a world gone made. If you ever hear him lecture - pay close attention, (he actually spoke of the value of paying attention), because he doles out so much heavy philosophy, religion, and fact. It was an incredible night. Amazing. Unfortunately, there was a small Antifa presence outside the theater and the lecture was delayed about an hour due to a "security concern." We had to go through metal detectors. The outside protestors could occasionally be heard during Dr. Peterson's lecture. There was one protestor, (screaming and swearing), inside the auditorium but Boston Police quickly subdued and arrested him. There was a bit of tension in the air throughout the night but that won't stop me from seeing Jordan Peterson again. Overall, it was a night I won't forget. Thank you Dr. Peterson!

  • Amazing experience!

  • He was great, the venue was horrible

by Kelsie on 2/27/22Orpheum Theatre presented by Citizens - BostonRating: 4 out of 5

Dr. Jordan Peterson was great once he was able to begin the show. The show was supposed to start at 7:30 and didn’t begin until 8:30. There were protestors outside the venue. We had to line up outside in the freezing cold just to get to the front and every woman be told that our bag was too big and was denied entry into the venue. There were people hiding there bags in trash cans, leaving them outside, etc. The security did not care. All the security protocols were outside and when finally let in the inside was freezing. Not one person took their jacket off. Once the show started you could hear the employees underneath/around talking. It made it difficult to actually hear what Peterson was saying at times. The security guards also wouldn’t stop going in and out the exit doors causing more cold air to go in and a distraction as they walked by. The venue was not it. I won’t be going back there. The lecture was great and very insightful. When it ended a protectors started yelling who somehow got into the event. So much for the extra security protocols.

  • Nothing like Dr. Jordan Peterson

  • Amazing!

by Colton B. on 2/27/22Orpheum Theatre presented by Citizens - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

The greatest live performance I have ever seen, BY FAR. Jordan Peterson is incredibly interesting and articulate when he shares his in depth understanding of how the world works. It was an incredible experience to watch live, and as soon as it was over I knew I had to get tickets to the next one. I can’t wait!

  • Amazing Event

by Chris G on 2/27/22Orpheum Theatre presented by Citizens - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Peterson gave an intelligent and insightful lecture. Thrilled to get to hear him live. He is the reason for 5 stars. Venue The theater was beautiful but the seats were a bit small. Not the most comfortable. Getting in It was a sold out show and the line to get in stretched around the block. The covid and security protocols were intense and it took over 2 hours just to get everyone in. As a result the show started an hour late. Overall it was all worth it to hear an impactful speech. Multiple standing ovations, and the whole audience was attentive, great atmosphere in the room.

  • Jordan Peterson knocked it out of the park

by Angie B on 2/26/22The Met Philadelphia - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

Mesmerizing to listen Jordan Peterson's train of thought. Even when he strayed from the point, didn't mind because his asides were just as interesting.

  • Amazing.

  • More fervor than ever

by Larry the Lobster on 2/26/22The Met Philadelphia - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

I was late (couldn't find parking, typical Philly), so I missed the opening by Mikhaila, but I made it in time to hear most of Dr. Peterson. Having heard many of his lectures online (college courses, 12 Rules for Life tour, Biblical Series) I was unsure whether hearing him in person would really be worth the money and time (I truly only bought my ticket for fomo). But I was not disapointed. Dr. Peterson spoke with enthusiasm and passion and even humor. I was struck by the energy and intensity he projected, even from my seat in LOGE 4. Though much of his material was traditional "Petersonian," if that can be considered a thing, he did expand upon his ideas more and push them into the new territory of "Beyond Order." In addition to psychology and self-improvement he included topics of contemporary culture and history, and though he delved into the culture war, he did not get mired in the details. There were moments where I noticed he lacked some of the lucidity he once posessed, but he also exhibited a sense of purpose, a determination, that I have not previously heard from him. After his lecture there was a brief Q&A, and we were allowed to submit questions via email. Dr. Peterson answered one question with particular intensity, which left the audience with an invigorated spirit (and he also dodged one bogus question with efficiency and tact.) Altogether a tremendous experience. Would absolutely see him speek again.
