  • The Unity of Dance

by Dance on 3/14/22State Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

Jordan brings a room together like no other. Him and his wife Tammy brought their A-game to this event and it showed. You could feel the energy from the outside of the venue. Truly a masterful event, it came at a very intense period for me and did not disappoint. Jordan and his family have changed the landscape in a major way, and seeing him live was extraordinary. In the beginning I wasn’t sure if I could believe what I was experiencing, but once I began to really pay attention, the unity of dance was before me; it was both terrifying and beautiful. Wish to see more of Jordan and His Family. Dance.

Jordan Peterson is one of those names that will be spoken of for a century after he passes on, and to be able to see him in person and hear him and his wife speak was an experience I'll remember for a very long time. Thank you Jordan!

I am not sure where to even begin... This was an amazing experience that my wife and I will share for a long time. Jordan is one of the most genuine and lively people I have ever met, and I am so glad that I got to experience that more with the VIP experience. My wife and I look forward to implementing what we learned during the show to make our lives better and to keep striving for the best.

Seriously, one of the most caring, brilliant, surprisingly funny, thoughtful and loving teachers to ever exist. God bless him and his work! You had better read and watch ALL of his work before you make an ill informed judgement, it might just change your life.

  • An Invaluable Experience

by Cory on 3/8/22DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - DurhamRating: 5 out of 5

This was the second time I've seen one of JBP's live dialogues. It's such a unique experience, in that it has none of the frills of typical entertainment (if it's correct to even call it that), and yet nearly everyone in the audience was riveted and dead silent throughout. Peterson watches crowd reactions so closely that it is truly like a conversation - at one point he responded to a subtle chuckle as if it was an actual response, which was so striking. He knew exactly the thought that generated that crowd reaction and proceeded to respond to it as if it was a one-on-one conversation. I believe Dr. Peterson will be regarded as one of the greatest psychologists/philosophers of this century, and seeing this discussion take place in person is an invaluable experience. 5 stars all the way.

  • Durham 2022

by Joyce on 3/7/22DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - DurhamRating: 5 out of 5

Tammy and Jordan Peterson were amazing, especially appreciated the Q&A. The VIP merchandise package was a bit disappointing honestly. I am not a fan of $60 posters, signed or not. I would rather have had a book (any one of them). At least if I had been aware of exactly what the merchandise was going to be I would not have spent the extra. The man behind the souvenir table gave me two different instructions to retrieve the "mystery merch". Not sure why so much confusion.

  • wonderful meaningful.

I have been wanting to see JBP for a few years but I was deterred by the controversy surrounding him. I love and follow his work and I do not and have not ever taken it in a political or religious way. He talked about all of my favorite topics. Symbolism, Jung, Freud, Motherhood, Fatherhood, Art and its meaning in the world, and DREAMS. what a wonderful evening.

  • Once in a lifetime

by Mother & son on 3/6/22DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - DurhamRating: 5 out of 5

Brautiful theater, enjoyed Mrs Peterson intro and Jordan is so worth every dollar of the admission price. My son & i both left with different take aways but both insisting Dr Peterson is someone we should all strive to be more like. Would absolutely see again if he returns to the area

  • Absolutely Fantastic Evening

by Pat Daley on 3/6/22DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - DurhamRating: 5 out of 5

Dr. Peterson’s lecture was thought-provoking and insightful. He is one of the very few people in the world who can speak with tremendous depth in a way all can understand. His ability to communicate is a rare gift, and combined with his intellect makes him a real treasure. The show was fantastic and I can’t wait for the next time he visits. Also - was very happy that the mask and vaccine mandates were ignored…

  • Sharing his gifts

by FF on 3/6/22DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - DurhamRating: 5 out of 5

To say that Dr. Peterson is intensely motivated, dedicated and devoted to sharing his passion and wisdom is an understatement. He did not disappoint. I only wish he would have taken more questions and delivered more of his sage wisdom and advice to all

  • Riveting experience

by R on 3/6/22DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - DurhamRating: 4 out of 5

Dr. Peterson is certainly bright, and his talk + Q&A proved as much. There were moments that were quite slow, but you buy into that listening to someone as brilliant as Dr. Peterson speak for an extended period of time. A bit of an odd, drawn-out introduction from his wife.

1.5 hours of his scattered thought processes, never getting anywhere...ugh!

I couldn’t keep up. As satisfying as it was to see him in person I felt like I was a child trying to learn the language of my elders. And I’m not complaining. Jordan Peterson is such a gift to our world. The fact that he walks on the same earth I walk on feels like a blessing to me. His wife did a good job too. She is so human and down to earth it makes me realize that Dr. Peterson is human as well. But there’s something pretty godly about him—it’s undeniable. I don’t worship him, of course, but I do hold this experience in reverence, even if it was way beyond my comprehension. No I’ll go back to the videos. I can pause, rewind, listen again and do my best to absorb the meaning, the wisdom, the message. The Q&A was enjoyable but I wish he had taken more questions and given shorter answers.

  • A great lecture with Q and A

by Viv on 3/6/22DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - DurhamRating: 5 out of 5

Time flew by during this great talk from Dr Peterson. His wife Tammy opened the talk with an interesting story. The topic was # 8- make one room in your house beautiful. The discussion was far-ranging and fascinating.

  • Shocked

by Peterson Fan on 3/6/22DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - DurhamRating: 1 out of 5

I’ve followed Dr. Peterson for years. I admire his intellect and the way he reasons. He is usually lucid and compelling. This was my first live event. First, I was disappointed in such a narrow topic for the evening. Then was even more stunned as he started his lecture that devolved into a combination of intellectual riffing and stream of consciousness conversation with himself. He never made a point. I paid $200 apiece for 4 tickets. A waste of money and a wasted evening. Sorry to feel compelled to share this.

what a great speech/lecture. ive watched many hours of J.P. on youtube over the years. going in person was a great experience. even the parts of the speech that ive heard many times through videos, were spoken in a way ive never heard in the past. he tells stories in different ways and it makes it all new and fresh. excellent experience and will definitely go again. the theater was great also. loved the nostalgia of the building. my only complaint would be that the seats are really on top of eachother. if i were a bigger person i would have trouble sitting in those seats, there really is no extra room. still a great experience and glad i went.

  • Everything I was hoping and more!

Dr. Peterson is a profound speaker. He has a unique ability to break down and clearly verbalize complex ideas. His dedication to helping the individual understand and navigate this world is highly undervalued. I look forward to attending the May 22nd lecture.

Dr. P’s analysis of consciousness is fascinating and thought provoking. I appreciate his ability to extract meaning from ancient and biblical texts and make them relevant in today’s world.
