  • JBP event

by Mark on 3/20/22Vivint Arena - Salt Lake CityRating: 4 out of 5

JBP is the best! I loved his visit and his message. But honestly we were so packed in that place. It was ultimately uncomfortable— and that’s my only complaint. Also, my ticket said row 1 and I was row 2. So that was a bit disappointing. My only issues were related to the venue.

  • Good lecture, mildly underwhelming

by Yu Qijun on 3/20/22Vivint Arena - Salt Lake CityRating: 4 out of 5

The show started 30 minutes late with no explanation why. That was quite disappointing. His lecture was great and insightful. I could see how some might think his live lectures are disjointed, but I didn't have that experience. I would say I was surprised when he ended with his oft-used ending "And that is why..." The hour he did lecture flew by. The Q&A at the end was perhaps the best part of the show. Attendees can submit questions online before the show, then his daughter facilitated asking a handful of the 600+ questions submitted. His daughter also opened for him. I'm not sure why that is necessary. She has not yet developed a stage presence that would make her opening meaningful. But practice and experience can bring improvement. The Vivint Arena is amazing. I will say the seats on the side seemed more comfortable than the folding chairs we were on down on the floor. But I don't know for sure. All in all, it was an inspiring event at a great venue.

  • Meditative. Thought provoking. Relevant.

by A. Lob Ster on 3/20/22Vivint Arena - Salt Lake CityRating: 5 out of 5

There’s something to be said about 10,000 people getting together to listen to a psychologist give a lecture. Especially given we’re not told what the lecture focuses on in advance. Dr. Peterson appeals to so many because we can tell he is genuine. He isn’t selling any ideas he does not believe in and subscribe to. You can tell he really cares for everyone, and wants to see the world change for the better. His talk will leave you in contemplation for days afterward. This is not an act, this is a man who is himself.

  • Advice.

by SageCountry on 3/20/22Vivint Arena - Salt Lake CityRating: 4 out of 5

Dr. Peterson answered 3 questions with an in-depth analysis. He criticized two of the questions as being written poorly. It really didn’t bother me, but I could see how others could be. Dr. Peterson has a lot of haters and there is no need to give them ammo to feed their dislike, or possibly recruit others to their cause. Remember: No matter how smart you are and no matter how dumb and servile most people are, they have the power to reject you.

It was an amazing show, Ive always loved to listen to him on YouTube and other platforms but it hits different seeing him live for the first time.

  • Excellent

I truly enjoyed Jordan Peterson. He has a great mind and is interesting to listen to.

  • As expected

by Onyx Moon on 3/20/22Vivint Arena - Salt Lake CityRating: 3 out of 5

Just as one would expect from JP's videos on YouTube. I really admire the guy but it seemed just like instant reply of his lecture on video. It was a complete waste of my time and expense. I could have stayed home honestly but I came out to support him and all his efforts for humanity.

  • My husband and I enjoyed it very much.

by MDuncker on 3/20/22Vivint Arena - Salt Lake CityRating: 5 out of 5

We have his last 2 books. We watch his videos regularly, and he was just as good in person. He is so thoughtful and practical in the way he explains things. We enjoyed both the lecture and he Q&A equally.

  • Loved every second

by Kate on 3/20/22Vivint Arena - Salt Lake CityRating: 5 out of 5

Jordan Peterson is the master lecturer. He is fascinating to watch and engaging and we wish the event could have gone longer.

  • Excellent lecture

Jordan did a great job at explaining complex idea.

  • Good enough

by George on 3/14/22The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

I really like JBP, but I honestly expected more from him. Perhaps I expected too much. Also, did not appreciate the fact that there was a delay. Still, this does not detract too much from the overall experience, which was pretty good, I would say.

  • Brilliant guy, but needs structure

by Sewcrates on 3/14/22The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

Random riffing consisting of 40-45 unrelated thoughts was difficult to follow. Best part of show was the Q&A because it gave him some organization. Whole show should've been Q&A.

  • Dr. Jordan Peterson

by Open Minded on 3/14/22The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

The content was great, however Dr. Peterson was unfortunately "out of breath" for most of his discussion and his heavy breathing was picked up on his microphone so it was difficult to hear what he was saying.

  • Dr. Peterson has a brilliant mind!

    by Bongo1964 on 3/14/22State Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

I really enjoyed the evening with Dr. Peterson. His wife came out first to introduce him and the topic of "romance in marriage." Dr. Peterson continued to explore the idea of the light of Christ in a marriage. It is clear that Dr. Peterson and his wife, Tammy, have a great relationship and collaborate will together. I am proud of Dr. Peterson to have studied the Old and New Testaments and come to the faith in Our Lord Jesus Christ. I wish other smart men would do the same!

  • Jordan Peterson

by Hunter on 3/14/22The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

It was amazing! Jordan Peterson is such a genuine and kind man that truly cares about every single person that attends his shows. He gave his lecture his all, and it was inspiring!

  • Great lecture with many thought provoking moments

by Jay C on 3/14/22The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Very knowledgeable and well organized lecture that covered a fairly wide arrange of topics, mostly dealing with the current affairs of SJW politics, it’s secondary effects and where it may lead

  • Too Unstructured

by Catherine on 3/14/22The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

I really like many of the things Jordan Peterson has to offer to the intellectual world but this lecture was too unstructured for me. I loved the Q & A at the end. Wish it was more lije that. His wife is super charming, by the way. As for The Chicago Theater, never disappoints. The staff was super friendly and helpful from the ushers to the bartenders.

  • Jordan was Awesome, venue is mediocre

by Daniel Olsen on 3/14/22The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

Jordan Peterson was amazing. A breath of fresh air in a pretty sorry culture. But Chicago theatre, iconic as it is, is in desperate need of renovation. The seats are uncomfortable and destroyed. Paint peeling from the ceiling. They don’t have adequate urinals for men. It’s literally falling apart. 5 stars for Peterson, 1 star for Chicago theatre.

  • Amazing!

by Angela L on 3/14/22The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

You know someone cares about you when they tell you the truth and aren’t just trying to make you feel good. This was a night I’ll never forget.
