  • Not worth the money

by Disappointed Disney on 2/7/23Stockton Arena - StocktonRating: 2 out of 5

First of all, you were not allowed to take backpacks or purses. No email prior that this was the rule. Been to Disney on Ice last year, no such thing. Been to Stockton Arena, never had this be an issue. Second, Disney prices for their souvenir's was ridiculous. Vendors outside the arena was a joke, do they pay taxes for what they sell, no, why support crooked selling. Should not had been allowed to sell outside of venue. If you want to freeze in an indoor ice arena, then you were at the right place. I have gone to lots of Thunder and Heat games, never has it been so cold as it was Saturday at 11:00 am. Second level should not be freezing as it was, too cold to enjoy. For some guests who were chosen to be part of the show, clearly were in the most expensive seats, how is that fair for other children who's parents can not afford the good seats, so they settle for what they can afford. It shouldn't be for some and be for ALL, explain that for the children who didn't get picked and tell them why. Disney should know better. The only negative I can say about Stockton Arena (venue) is they ran out of pretzels half way through the show, was not a good thing. Last, but not least. to pay the kind of money to attend Disney on Ice, tickets, parking, souvenirs and food, the should had lasted longer then 1 hour and 15 minutes. Started at 11:15, intermission at 12:00, back at 12:20ish and over at 12;45. VERY disappointing, $200-$500 for a little over an hour. Shame on Disney for taking advantage of parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles on trying to give the children in their lives a fun time. Absolutely disgusting, I would say Disney has become opportunist with over charging and not giving customers their moneys worth. I have been going to Disney of Ice for over 25 years and this was the biggest waste of money. Highly Disappointed and Broke.

  • had a great time!

we went as a family of 6 adults and 2 children age 3 1/2 and 1 1/2. Our seats were on the lower deck and its was perfect viewing of the whole arena. the Stockton arena website says that bags 14" are allowed but i was stopped by security and not allowed to bring in my small "loungefly" backpack (hda to take it back to car), but my daughter was allowed to bring in a diaper bag. These rules are very unclear as i saw lots of other people inside with backpacks. Snacks and drinks are very expensive in the Arena. Bathroom lines are extremely long. We used the bathroom at intermission and did not make it back to our seats before the show started back up, and missed about 10 minutes of it. Over all we loved the show. The Stockton Arena is a nice location, and we would do it again.

The show was amazing, my son loved the show so much he didn’t want to leave when the show had ended.

  • All about variety

    by R. J. on 2/7/23Rating: 3 out of 5

A lot of the recent Disney On Ice shows usually tend to have Princess stories as the focus or as the main draw of the show. But this show (along with Mickey and Friends) tends to have a unique variety of stories. While every show does have Mickey and Minnie with co-hosts Donald and Goofy, plus there’s the usuals Frozen, Toy Story, Moana, and an appearance by the Princesses, but we also get to see The Lion King, The Incredibles, and surprisingly Mary Poppins who is quite a welcome addition. We also get to see Alice from Alice in Wonderland in the finale. The segments also have a different mix of variety as well: Mary Poppins features BMX biking, Elsa goes aerial with Let it Go, Toy Story is an interactive segment, Jasmine flies for some reason, it’s nice to see an strong variety of segments in this show.

  • Very Entertaining!

by Emily on 2/1/23Selland Arena at Fresno Convention & Entertainment Center - FresnoRating: 5 out of 5

Loved it all. Very entertaining on every part. Would have love to seen Frozen 2 songs a part of it all but thats ok. Frozen part seemed small considering from what I believe is everyones favorite especially Olaf is the show stopper for sure. Also we loved seeing Forky. Great experience!

  • Great visually, horrible sound; expensive outing

by Dah2020 on 2/1/23Selland Arena at Fresno Convention & Entertainment Center - FresnoRating: 4 out of 5

Terrific show, glad we went, good time with grandadughter. Visually it was great, even though we were in balcony. Sound, however, was bad. Could not undertand most of dialogue and storytelling; seemed like the speakers on our side were off. And the costs, ugh - $40 for a popcorn (in a keepsake bucket) and cotton candy; $40 for a bubble stick; and $20 for a wand outside. $15 for lemonade (in a keepsake cup) and $14 for hot dog combo. With tickets, gas, snacks, and then a real lunch - an expensive outing. Skating was good and flowing with some cool aerial action, but overall it was reserved. I'd go again but spend even more to sit lower.

  • Cute show

by Lady on 2/1/23Selland Arena at Fresno Convention & Entertainment Center - FresnoRating: 4 out of 5

The show was bright and engaging! All the featured characters were a hit; Great cast of characters. The audience engaging cast members did a beautiful job of selecting children and families to participate in the show. The music was lively. The decibels were just right for the venue. The only problem I had was with the venue; they had a very slow entry process which caused many families to miss the start of the show.

  • It was okay

by EmsMom on 2/1/23Selland Arena at Fresno Convention & Entertainment Center - FresnoRating: 3 out of 5

I feel that there should of been a line up provided. And more princess appearance rather than just the end.

  • Wonderful experience

This is our second or third time going to Disney on ice. We had the BEST time with all of our family being able to attend. Easy process to get tickets, friendly staff and true happiness seen in our kiddos watching the show. Will certainly go again.

  • Great Show

by A Roc on 1/31/23Selland Arena at Fresno Convention & Entertainment Center - FresnoRating: 5 out of 5

Great show. It was entertaining from any seat in the house, you didn't have to be in the front row. The length was just long enough for my 2.5 year old. 10/10 recommend.

  • My 9 month old grandson had a blast.

by Deb on 1/31/23Selland Arena at Fresno Convention & Entertainment Center - FresnoRating: 5 out of 5

The show had his attention for the whole show. Sadly he will not remember but we have him on camera yo share the memories.

  • Great Show

by Redhead on 1/31/23Selland Arena at Fresno Convention & Entertainment Center - FresnoRating: 4 out of 5

I will start off with the positive. The show was very entertaining. My daughter, 4 year old granddaughter and myself attented the 11:00 a.m. show on Saturday. My granddaughter couldn't be more excited. And she thoroughly enjoyed herself. She is a big Disney fan, so all the acts were right up her alley. My daughter and I also enjoyed this show. My criticism is actually with the Selland Arena. For starters, the arrival to the parking lot was ridiculous. I think they should turn off the stop lights and hire a traffic director. People coming from three directions to get into the parking lot needs more direction than a traffic light. Also, our seats were very confusing to find. The show started before we found our seats. We tried one spot that looked like it was our seats, but were not. In asking an usher to help. She took us right back to the spot that we thought were our seats, but were not. She then attempted another area and our seats were found. That the usher had trouble finding our seats, shows that seating needs to be revamped. Other than the arena's misgivings, we had a good time and will most probably come to see Disney On Ice again, in the future.

  • Just okay

by Juan on 1/31/23Selland Arena at Fresno Convention & Entertainment Center - FresnoRating: 3 out of 5

The show was short. It was cut by 15 minutes but, the price went up. It did not feel like past shows, I was a bit disappointed.

  • Must!!

My 2 yr old was in awe. They did such a great job with interaction with the audience you felt apart of the whole celebration.
