About

Deftones’ culture is revered as one of the most fervent that exists—a Grammy Award-winning multi-platinum sonic outlier whose originality and culture prove peerless. Formed by hometown friends out of Northern California in 1988, the Sacramento band have delivered a succession of seminal releases, sold over 10 million records globally, gathered 9.2 billion-plus streams, and inspired generations. Their catalog encompasses 2000’s RIAA certified 2X-Platinum White Pony—which earned the group’s first Grammy—as well as the RIAA Platinum-certified Diamond Eyes (2010), Koi No Yokan (2012), and Ohms (2020). The latter marked their fourth Top 5 debut on the Billboard 200. Their world also notably includes the annual Dia De Los Deftones, an immersive full-day festival experience of music and culture curated and headlined by the band at San Diego’s Petco Park for six iterations so far. In August 2025, they will release their 10th full-length album, private music (Reprise/Warner Records). It signals yet another artistic peak and once more affirms Deftones are forever.

  • Love Deftones<3

by moon on 9/25/25Rating: 5 out of 5

I love Deftones very much!! Their visuals are amazing, the vibe is great, and song choices are ethereal. The only thing is that I wish they sounded louder live. I was on the top row of the first floor seats, maybe if i got General Admission it would've been an even better experience. Either way, they are still amazing and would definitely recommend seeing them live!

  • Good show sound was a little muddy

by PJ Fan on 9/20/25T-Mobile Center - Kansas CityRating: 4 out of 5

Overall the show was great. My Own Summer was the second song of the night. This song has an iconic Deftones sound. I’ve been listening to it since it was first released back in 97. The sound was so muddy that it took me until the chorus to realize what they were playing. A few other songs were that way throughout the night. I don’t know what was going on with Stephen’s sound, but a few songs didn’t have that tight sound. Even when he is playing in drop G. His tone has been tight in the past. On Wednesday night, it got on the muddy side of life. Not sure if it was from his stack or if it was coming from the sound board. Something seemed off.

  • Amazing Time

by JayWeh on 9/20/25T-Mobile Center - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

We had an amazing time at the Deftones concert! The entire process from start to finish was so convenient. Tickets were easy to find, purchase, download and present at the door. The venue was easy to get in and out of. The venue was also nice and cool inside- I did not get over heated even thought it was a sold out crowd. There were plenty of bathrooms. Most importantly, the Deftones were awesome! I definitely recommend their show to anyone (young and old). We will definitely attend more concerts.
