I've been listening to Kikuo for 6 years, and to finally listen to them live was such an amazing experience. Thank you so much for coming to Seattle!

  • Best concert ive been to

by Kagerouu on 9/13/24Neptune Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Loved the dj style of kikuo performing with visualizers behind him, being in a crowd of vocaloid fans was a first but for a childhood favorite of mine it was a mix of psychedelic visuals and amazing performance of energy i loved the transitions especially. i feel like i have leveled up in perspective for even being in the event

  • Amazing!

by Val on 9/13/24Neptune Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Kikuo was amazing! Very engaged with the crowd, perfect songs list, the sound set up awesome, and the lighting captivating!! The staff at the venue were very nice too; it was super hot in there but they were giving water bottles. Overall one of the best concerts I ever been!

The light show and performance was amazing. The projections shows had no issues. I enjoyed it so much!! Kikuo was amazing! First time experiencing a concert like that it was so much fun! I’m so happy to hear all his music and experience it live.

  • good but daycare vibes

by grace on 9/8/24The Van Buren - PhoenixRating: 5 out of 5

the kikuo show was awesome, the id/ticket check went as smooth as it normally does at the van buren, merch line was also decently quick and even being far back i could get what i wanted, and had enough time to get good viewing spots. kikuo, as always, had a great production and the live mixing was amazing. he played some old bangers and performed his phantom siita mix which was a treat. however, my main nuisance was the sheer amount of children running around the venue… some of the songs have graphic content or disturbing themes, on top of the van buren being a more active concert participant experience.. really don’t want to hear kids barking, running around, or spilling through the venue. didn’t sour my experience much, but had it been a worse crowd of kids it would’ve amplified the daycare feeling more

  • Good time all around thought the venue might need some work

by Drone on 9/8/24The Van Buren - PhoenixRating: 5 out of 5

The concert with Kikuo was phenomenal. I’ve been listening to their music for at least 10 years now, and the concert was everything I hoped it would be. It was fun, upbeat and there was even a part where it slowed down to appreciate some of the instrumentation and sound design used for these songs. There was a lot of crowd work and it was throughly enjoyable. Only thing to take away from the experience was the venue. It was a problem I had at a previous concert as well. Too much bass. I’m all for subwoofers and sub frequencies shaking the contents of my ribcage. But the issue is the balance was way off. I’m not sure if their sound guy knows how to operate the console he’s been given but he doesn’t seem to have it down. The first half it was very hard to hear any middle frequencies. Meaning that most of the vocals and instrument ration was drowned out. The high frequencies were also a bit harsh, but more bearable since you could actually hear the snare cymbals and other percussion in the songs. Overall I would absolutely go to another kikuo concert given it be at a different venue. Just to mix it up. That being said the volume of the show was quite loud. I’d recommend bringing a good set of hifi ear protection. Maybe that would’ve helped my case, but regardless it’s on the venue for not having the sound come out as clearly as it should. Especially since it wasn’t the first time it’s been a problem

  • Forever Love You Kikuo

by Cady on 8/31/24Rating: 5 out of 5

After being a fan of Hatsune Miku and Kikuo for years now, seeing him live was phenomenal! The way he hypes of a crowd, the visuals, the beauty of his instrumentals: must see for everyone who likes a club/rave scene, or likes listening to vocaloid!

  • A Flashy Show! (In More Ways Than One)

by Courto on 8/30/24Palladium Times Square - New York CityRating: 4 out of 5

Fantastic performance and wonderful crowd! The visuals were original and Kikuo really brings fantastic love and energy to his craft. The music and mixing can be felt in your heart. A very worthwhile show! However, there is an *excessive* amount of flashing that I wish was warned earlier either at point of sale or on the tour website. I have been to a variety of different shows that use strobes, but this is almost every song and every visual with little breaks in between. I had to look away often as someone with light sensitivity who came unprepared. TL;DR - A fantastic show but in hopes someone who needs this sees this: IF YOU ARE PHOTOSENSITIVE, PLEASE KNOW THIS SHOW USES **EXCESSIVE** STROBING & FLASHING!!
