Deftones’ culture is revered as one of the most fervent that exists—a Grammy Award-winning multi-platinum sonic outlier whose originality and culture prove peerless. Formed by hometown friends out of Northern California in 1988, the Sacramento band have delivered a succession of seminal releases, sold over 10 million records globally, gathered 9.2 billion-plus streams, and inspired generations. Their catalog encompasses 2000’s RIAA certified 2X-Platinum White Pony—which earned the group’s first Grammy—as well as the RIAA Platinum-certified Diamond Eyes (2010), Koi No Yokan (2012), and Ohms (2020). The latter marked their fourth Top 5 debut on the Billboard 200. Their world also notably includes the annual Dia De Los Deftones, an immersive full-day festival experience of music and culture curated and headlined by the band at San Diego’s Petco Park for six iterations so far. In August 2025, they will release their 10th full-length album, private music (Reprise/Warner Records). It signals yet another artistic peak and once more affirms Deftones are forever.

Huge deftones fan but was left unimpressed live. Maybe it was the venue’s sound system
Great venue. Staff was good. Pretty clean. Lines at entry were void of staff instruction. Have runners communicating to people in line. General info etc. Also, at this point parking should be free for people attending a concert. Stop being ridiculous. Parking is always the killer for me when it comes to this venue. Figure it out. Bare minimum, a parking pass for event goers. FREE.
Was a great show! Bands were great. The sound could have been a little more crisp. I couldnt tell if it was the acoustics in the building or the engineers. The medics were great as well. Very hospitable
Who are the Deftones? We only went because the Idles were playing. They were awesome! Would like to see them play as the headliner at a smaller more intimate venue in Kansas City, like Uptown or Midland, it would be a dream concert for me!
I’m from Los Angeles and I really wanted to see IDLES again, they were touring with Deftones and I couldn’t miss this opportunity. I flew out the day of to Denver and had the best experience ever! The Ball Arena, amazing! Sound, location, everything has made me realize that out of state venues are intimate than what we have here in Los Angeles. Would definitely recommend!
Amazing concert the visuals incredible, setlist was amazing along with the hype crowd giving off so much energy, the vocals were on point and sounded amazing only a small downfall in some of the slower songs the instruments drowned out the vocals a lil. Bought three merch items two shirts and a bag always getting compliments on them. Deftones dropped Private Music Album the day of the concert I went to and was lucky to hear as many new songs from that album along with some huge older favourites Love DEFTONES hope to see them live again soon 💚
Deftones show was incredible. The lighting, visuals, sound, and the band was on point. Honestly mad I just caught them live for the first time, as I’ve been listening to them forever. I’ll never miss them again!
I'm consistently dissapointed in the sound of concerts at the Ball Arena. I'm going to start passing on shows there as it is just bad. Poor bass, overly saturated layers of sound bouncing around everywhere. Just poor quality for a music venue. I've seen a lot of shows there, and if you aren't on the floor in the front, the sound sucks.
Best concert in have seen at ball arena. Amazing show
I've seen Deftones several times over the years and its amazing to me how relevant they sound today while still staying true to their sound after doing this for 30 years! Chino sounded great, lighting and audio was top-notch. Just a great show. Also want to applaud the choice of Idles to open, what a great surprise having a (albeit heavy) post-punk artist open for legendary nu metal headliners. They also sounded great, and just motivates me to see them in a more intimate venue in the future. Special nod to the Barbarians of California, a 3rd band I had no idea was on the bill - super heavy and exciting surprise!
Deftones is my favorite band and for me to see them live is a dream come true! I loves every moment of it, the music and the vibes in general, I would definitely go again! I will forever remember this moment🖤
Always put on an amazing performance and are at the top of their game right now! Was blown away 10/10
Deftones sounded just as amazing as they did 25 years ago. I had such a great time that I wish they toured more often and I had some kind of idea when I would get to see them live again.
The overall experience was not good. Overall, I would say this was a sellout show and they had two merchandise tables. One upstairs and one downstairs. With that being said, concert fans had to wait a good 45 minutes to an hour to be able to purchase any swag. I get it. It’s a concert. However, I don’t believe people should be lighting up big Doobies around families that are there to enjoy the show. When I went to let a police officer know, I was told it was not his problem and I needed to talk to an usher who did nothing The band performed as they should loud and hard. Great music as expected. Unfortunately the experience did not meet my expectations.
First time i saw Deftones was in 2002. Hopefully this wasn't my last. Loved the show.
I absolutely love the show!! I’ll never forget it. With this app I was able to get really nice seat for a low price so I was able to really enjoy the show without worrying about anything.
2 hours worth of opening acts (2 bands) is way overkill. Then, Deftones only play for an hour and 40 minutes with no encore? Seriously? There are 70’s bands out there that have been touring for over 50 years and perform for 2+ hours. Cmon guys suck it up, definitely not worth the money I paid….disappointed
Took my daughter to her first concert to see her favorite band Deftones and it did not disappoint. I wasn't the greatest of fans till I saw them Sat and im hooked. There was no bad seat in the house, the sound was great and the opening bands were good. If they had a show on Sunday I would have been there.
Venue was clean, I originally had tickets to the upper concourse and a security guard provided extra tickets to the 1 floor level. The sound was great and deftones performance was outstanding. Would 100% see again.
I sobbed listening to Deftones live, I ended up missing a few songs because the merch line was so long but either way I LOVED hearing them sing all of my favorite songs!
