Come From Away on Tour

The true story of the small town that welcomed the world.

Broadway's COME FROM AWAY has won Best Musical all across North America!

The New York Times Critics' Pick takes you into the heart of the remarkable true story of 7,000 stranded passengers and the small town in Newfoundland that welcomed them. Cultures clashed and nerves ran high, but uneasiness turned into trust, music soared into the night, and gratitude grew into enduring friendships.

Don't miss this breathtaking new musical written by Tony® nominees Irene Sankoff and David Hein, and helmed by this year's Tony-winning Best Director, Christopher Ashley. Newsweek cheers, "It takes you to a place you never want to leave!"

On 9/11, the world stopped. On 9/12, their stories moved us all.

  • Fantastic! Do not miss this

Just a great production! Heartwarming. If it comes to town again, I will gather my friends to see it again.

  • Best Play I’ve Ever Seen

    by Momof7 on 8/6/24Robinson Center - Little RockRating: 5 out of 5

Maybe 2nd best (to Hamilton). I’d see it again many times. In my opinion, funnier than Wicked. More moving than Les Miserables. Characters I loved even more than Phantom of the Opera. It was fabulous, touching funny and inspiring. The traveling cast was superb.

  • Good but hard to hear and see

by Sgb on 8/6/24Robinson Center - Little RockRating: 3 out of 5

The theatre is not good for short people sitting behind tall people. Straining to see. Band overpowered the voices of actors

  • Marvelous!

by TinTin on 8/6/24Robinson Center - Little RockRating: 5 out of 5

This production is phenomenal. You laugh, you cry, and you leave with such a warm feeling. Highly entertaining with beautiful music and incredible talent. I want to see it again and travel to The Rock!

  • My New Second Favorite

by Pennylane on 8/6/24Robinson Center - Little RockRating: 5 out of 5

I faintly remembered the story, but this was a super special telling, and it took me right back to the 9-11 events and the emotions it invoked. With kindness, humor, great storytelling, acting, and music this is a perfectly lovely show. We laughed, we cried, and we all agreed we want to see it again. The venue and all services were smooth and hospitable.

  • Come from away

by CMA on 8/6/24Robinson Center - Little RockRating: 4 out of 5

I wasn’t sure how they could make a 9/11 story into a musical but I was so impressed! The story was so well done with some humor and a great moral story. Music incorporated was perfect. Highly recommend this moving, engaging and enjoyable play.

  • Great presentation!

by Anne on 8/6/24Robinson Center - Little RockRating: 5 out of 5

This will restore your faith in humanity. You want to cheer for the townspeople, cheer for the passengers, cheer for what happened during a tragic period of time. The only negative thing I'd say is that it all moves so quickly, that you can't catch much of the dialog. I think I should go see it several times!

  • We Need More Ganders

by Gary on 8/6/24Robinson Center - Little RockRating: 5 out of 5

This is a show that takes you through all the feels. It soars in emotions and gets you right in the heart. Just when you think there's nothing good in this world, you're reminded that when some people needed it the most, Gander was there. Terrific cast, absolutely stellar, high-energy performances. Incredible band. Thank you for bringing the Rock to Little Rock. Come back any time.

  • Inspiring

by Peggy on 8/6/24Robinson Center - Little RockRating: 5 out of 5

I didn't know what to expect and had never heard the story , even though I knew that all planes were out of the air almost immediately. It was heart-warming to see how that little town took everyone in. The play was so well done! All of the actors were incredible

  • Marvelous

by Mrs A on 8/6/24Robinson Center - Little RockRating: 5 out of 5

This musical was excellent. It told the story of a very tragic time in a lighthearted way that entertained and informed. We knew the story but it brought out things we may not have thought about.

  • Heartwarming, Fun, Unique

by Mimi K on 8/5/24Robinson Center - Little RockRating: 5 out of 5

We knew very little about the story or how the play was set up. We loved the music and the story. Having the cast play multiple parts worked really well and enhanced the story!

  • Far & Away

by It was a good concert. on 7/1/24The Orpheum Theatre Memphis - MemphisRating: 5 out of 5

We throughly enjoyed the Musical play. It enlighten one to think what others was going through on that date. Job well done.

  • Fabulous!!

by wendy c on 6/28/24The Orpheum Theatre Memphis - MemphisRating: 5 out of 5

I never imagined loving this musical as much as I did! I laughed and I cried…the best part was how it prompted a discussion with my 18 year old daughter about everything that happened on September 11th. And the music was amazing!!

  • We loved it!

by MMHarvey on 6/26/24The Orpheum Theatre Memphis - MemphisRating: 5 out of 5

Come From Awsy stirred up so many memories and emotions - in a good way. The cast was amazing; that they were able to embody so many different characters is a tribute to both cast and playwright

  • Captivating and engaging

So much more than I was expecting. Energetic and emotional. The stagecraft was amazing! Voices, just WOW!!

  • Come From Away is one of the best shows.

by Terry on 6/26/24The Orpheum Theatre Memphis - MemphisRating: 5 out of 5

Come From Away is a musical you can hum the tunes to. Remember how they went and are well enunciated so the singers want you to hear the tale they’re singing. The best choreography of people ever, changing in moments from a plane seating to a cafe or meeting hall, including costume changes during those few seconds. Each time I see this show I see something not spotted before. Extremely clever!

  • Great show

by Cookingreb on 6/26/24The Orpheum Theatre Memphis - MemphisRating: 5 out of 5

At the end, the entire audience literally jumped up and cheered. Need I say more? Great story, wonderful cast and just an overall feel good show.

  • One of my favorite musicals!

by Nadia on 6/26/24The Orpheum Theatre Memphis - MemphisRating: 5 out of 5

This was my second time to see it, and I enjoyed it just as much the second time as I did the first. Everything about it is so top notch. The music and upbeat tempo, the story line, the insight to another side of 911, the humor…thoroughly top notch! I would see it again!

  • A terrific show!

by Susie on 6/26/24The Orpheum Theatre Memphis - MemphisRating: 5 out of 5

This show celebrates the goodness of the people of Gander, Newfoundland, on 9/11, but it also reminds us of the impact of that event on how we travel and how we see our country and the world.

  • So Good

by SeasonTixMom on 6/26/24The Orpheum Theatre Memphis - MemphisRating: 5 out of 5

We have season tickets for the Broadway Touring season at The Orpheum Memphis. When the season was announced I was on the fence about Come From Away. So glad I didn't skip it. It is in my top 5 favorites that we have seen. The vocals were amazing and the story line is a great balance of humor and gravity. Don't miss it!
