We had a blast on Family Day at Churchill Downs. Our four year old loved the event activities organized for the day. My only suggestion would be to try an incorporate more shade into the play area. We were able to afford air conditioned box seats which would be beyond expensive on Kentucky Derby day. It was simply a great way to enjoy the best that the facilities had to offer at a family affordable price.
Our server was so incredibly sweet and made our first experience at the races just perfect. Lunch was delicious and everything very clean.
Good food and such great service by the staff. Fun atmosphere as well. Brush up on your horses and maybe you can win some $$.
The staff was so friendly and willing to answer all our question. Explaining to us the rich history or Churchville Downs made it all the more memorable. We had the best time!
Great experience, fun betting and enjoying the races and cool venue w my family. Barn tour was awesome, barry was awesome and we really enjoyed the museum.
My wife and I are not horse racing people. The extent of our knowledge is watching the Kentucky Derby every year - and even then we don't watch it religiously. But Churchill Downs is an amazing facility! We had so much fun just walking around the grounds. The flowers, gardens, and statues are all beautiful! You can also see the horses up close and personal before and after their races. We even placed a few bets (despite knowing nothing about how it all worked), and won a few dollars. It kept things exciting. I would LOVE to come back!
We very much enjoyed the twilight racing event. The online ticketing process was easy and communication was great. Admission prices were reasonable, as were food & drinks. We were fortunate to get beautiful weather. And most importantly, the races in the iconic park made for a mist memorable evening.
Perfect afternoon, first time visit. Only $5 general admission, free parking. Assigned seats, but it was not crowded & able to sit near finish line.
Great experience. Loved how basketball was entangled with horse racing. It was amazing.
Had a wonderful time at Downs after Dark. There was fun to be had by all ages 18 and up. I enjoyed the dining and atmosphere of millionaires row as well as all the activities that was going on throughout.
We had a great time. Culture is friendly, and the atmosphere is just enjoyable.
Had a great time! We try to do this once a year to kick off fall and it's a blast each time. Kennetha, our server was excellent! She was super knowledgable which helped. The buffett was super tasty as always. The construction was a tad bit distracting which is why I didn't give 5 stars. Other than that, a perfect day. Looking forward to next year. Cheers!
We purchased tickets in the Millionaires Row section for Downs after Dark. The venue and action was excellent and highly recommend checking this experience out. The section included dinner and soft drinks. The dinner was very average and was taken down earlier in the evening than we were told. Overall great experience!

Went to fall afternoon racing at Churchill Downs. It is a beautiful facility. It was a Friday so not a lot of people so for general admission we had great seats. A wonderful experience
My 1st time at Churchill - and Downs after Dark did not disappoint. Awesome buffet, service, and seats right by finish line. Spring for the tour or see museum if this is your first visit.

Seating was expensive and horrible, when I went to buy the ticket, site showed these as only available. There were tons of seats available when we got there.
The rooftop experience was awesome. As first time visitors to ChurchHill Downs, it was an unexpected surprise. The view from the rooftop was excellent. The food served was very good, lots of choices and everything was tasty and nicely presented. Good service staff, nice bartenders. The Silent Disco outside in the courtyard was another new experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. The night was fun-filled with racing, good food and entertainment. We highly recommend!
