Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet Tickets

Fantastic talent. Wonderful costuming. Imaginative sets. I'm so glad we got to see this group perform.

This ballet is lovely. It has everything--amazing dancing, romance, excitement, violence and passion. The costumes are magnificent and the stage sets are wonderful. The only thing it lacks is a live orchestra. Even with a good sound system, the msuic at times was tinny.

While the ballet does not recreate the story told in the movie, it is similar. The music knitted together for the soundtrack is seamless. The Can Can and the Tango scenes are amazing.

An exquisite and unforgettable performance by the RWB. A perfect combo of romance, comedy and tragedy. Of ballet, tango and the can-can. And of absinthe and green fairies. Beautiful choreography by Jorden Morris. All the movements and expressions told a seamless story with a perfect marriage between dance and acting. Highly recommend it. I have never been so drawn into the story of a ballet.

I recommend the Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet "Moulin Rougue." It kept my rap attention, I was so focused on the performers actions. Since there are no words, you have to watch their facial expressions. I thought they should have done more with the "Can Can" dance with the whole company. It is a good idea to read the synopsis first, so you can follow the story line. I thought it was a great idea for a ballet. FANTASTIC!

the entire production was fantastic. The dancers were graceful and full of emotion at the same time. I would reccommend that everyone see this show .

Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet Company created a truly sparkling rendition of Moulin Rouge. The dancers were spectacular !! Was very impressed by their precision, musicality and bravura. Though I know and love all the musical pieces selected for the show, I felt that it lacked a central musical theme -- something to tie the program together. At times I felt I was watching several dance recital pieces joined together rather than a single story with a focused, central theme. Perhaps if a love theme were worked into the program that identified the lovers (Nathalie and Mathieu) it might give the program a more cohesive storyline. The sets, costumes and lighting designs created a truly magical environment for the dancers. Thank you RWB for a delightful trip to the Moulin Rouge.

Great dancing, great music (loved that they included Debussy's "Claire de Lune") and bright and vivid costumes. The ballet did a wonderful job of bringing the Moulin Rouge to life on stage. I would recommend to any of my friends!

Great professional ballet dancers brought life to this production. Costumes were great.

It was my first time in ballet and I enjoyed it a lot. We reviewed the sinopsis before the show and then we followed the story perfectly, it was amazing!!! The dancers were great and the music was also very good.

This was one of the surprisingly best ballets we have ever sceme.We look forward to other productions. BRAVO!

It was a very enjoyable two hour 20 minute performance. The Auditorium is a magnificent theater, not a bad seat in the house, comfortable, acoustics were of the highest standard.. The performances were excellent - it was an easy story to follow - with characters you could identify. The music was not as powerful as the movie version but then the story was not as dark - ( you could bring your family 8 yrs and up ) . I am a huge fan of dramatic lighting/stage design - this was good... though not as mesmerizing as some. I hope this is helpful.....

An important tip I would like to give you is to read the story preview before the show starts. That way you will understand every scene and the characters roll. The dancers are fantastic. I 100% recommend this show! It's very special.

The Royal Winnipeg Ballet are a very dynamic, attractive and professional group of dancers. They put on a show with unflagging energy and commitment which made a very enjoyable show. I'd like to see them again in another dance production. The story and choreography were well done too. You can't fully separate the dance quality from the choreography quality. I don't think the story itself was the strong point of Moulin Rouge the ballet. The dance movements and passion and personal dedication of RWB were the stars.

The ballet was wonderful. It was entertaining and the choregraphy was excellent. The program was fast moving and it seemed impossible that the program was 2 hours, it seemed much shorter. I would recommend and would see it again.

The dance was wonderful. Costuming was fabulous. My only disappointment was the canned music. Would much prefer a live orchestra and willing to pay the necessary premium. Volume of canned music was frequently too loud and very un-ballet. I have seen this ballet before and did not have that problem with the volume. Maybe it was this venue.
