What could be a fiery treat turned out to be just an average unimaginative an un-intriguing bore. The scenes were quite long and uninspired. The choreography - a letdown. Dancers' performance was not up to par either..... student-like at times. My favorite part is the costumes, but they couldn't save this show...
The Moulin Rouge was amazlingly fabulous, but anything the RWB does is always wonderful. I only wish they could perform more frequently in Vancouver! Their performances are always a much-looked forward treat, and Le Moulin Rouge was no exception. Costumes were fun and added to the overall spectacular production. The RWB is my favourite ballet company. Can't wait for the next time!
If you love ballet (especially, good ballet), this is a must see!
I have always been impressed by RWB ability to create and stage a fresh production but this is their best yet. A show not to be missed.
The music, the dress, the amazing ballet moves - WOW!!!!
Nothing special. Would not recommend this. Over priced for what they put on.
