  • Amazing experience. A must see!

by Drew on 3/23/19Culture Room - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

An amazing experience. I've been to going to all different types of concerts and rock shows for over 20 years and I've never seen anyone as talented as Buckethead. Finally got a chance to see him and I was absolutely blown away. He can play the guitar in a unique way that no one else can. A pure virtuoso and guitar genius. Definitely add it too your concert "bucket list" ;)

Total shredfest. Buckethead effortlessly reduces most other guitarist to the beeks and feet that they are. Bucketheadland came to the Culture Room, and as usual, it was an attraction to behold.

I came to this show as part of my 21st birthday trip to Vegas. I must say, Buckethead was definitely thee highlight of my trip! This was my fourth time seeing him and his guitar playing is as mesmerizing as always. He played his heart out and made the two hours I spent in line waiting and standing worthwhile. He never fails to make his shows special for his fans by entertaining us with toys, dancing, and giving us a chance to press his killswitch. A real genuine guy.

First and foremost, Buckethead is a pro. He's well established and even has his own signature series Gibson guitar. The venue was modest with a small elevated reserved table area that's slightly elevated for better viewing. The show started 45mins late. The P.A. had some weird feedback happening throughout the show and the men's room was filthy. As for the performance, once it finally got going Buckethead played well. I am fan of instrumental guitar and have only heard a scant offering of Buckethead's work before the show. I did have somewhat of an idea of what to expect. The first set not as smooth as the second set. It is impressive for and instrumental guitarist to do 2 full sets and an encore. He split up the sets with a unique interlude where he did some robot style dancing, a nunchuck display and then handed out toys to the crowd like Santa. I found him relying on the kill switch feature on his guitar a bit too much. He did display a lot eclecticism in styles which was nice and I noticed that he didn't fall into what I would call standard riff territory. I thought that his use of backing tracks was proficient but lacked the feel that you only get from having live musicians on stage. Overall, it was an interesting show that I'm glad to have made the journey to go see. If you're a fan of instrumental guitar. Buckethead is a must see.

  • BUCKETHEAD the GUITAR VIRTUOSO

by Coandcam9 on 6/1/18House of Blues Houston presented by Cricket Wireless - HoustonRating: 5 out of 5

I totally loved the show being a guitarist/ musician myself. He is a master at his craft. I was very hesitant about staying long since he did not come on till 2 hours after door opened. But he sure can play and keep you entertained when your there. His skill of playing is unimaginable and his weirdness is also attracting. Breaking dancing and nunchucks and prize giving we’re all part of his show. Most of all the show was great his level of skill is crazy and his effects are awesome . Totally worth watching again only saddened he still offers no merchandise to purchase cause I always purchase a souvenir of every show I go to .

It's very hard for a man to stand in the middle of an empty stage and play guitar to recorded tracks for over 2 hours and keep the energy level up but the show, for me, was a home run. The small venue and excited fans made it worth getting up tired Monday morning! Thanks Bucket.

The venue opened the doors promptly at 7. Buckethead came on around 8:45. I recommend buying(if possible) the early access option. This way you can get in early and grab a seat or even better, a table. For some reason, they did not open the upper deck as it was mostly empty. That would have sold out in my opinion. Buckethead himself did not disappoint. One of the greatest masters of guitar and showmanship ever. Highly recommend seeing him anywhere possible. Bring a boxed toy and set it on stage!

  • Buckethead is amazing

by ChrisGOrlandoFL on 5/23/18House of Blues Orlando - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

Buckethead is quite simply an amazing musician. He puts on a great show, just him alone, but sound ;like he has a full band with him! Amazing, and would go to see him again if he comes back to Florida. I love his music, and when you review his past, you'll see what an accomplished artist this man truly is. take the time to listen to his music, you'll be hooked; I guarantee it!

  • Buckethead was Amazing

by Marsh21 on 5/23/18House of Blues Orlando - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

Hold on for a musical ride! Buckethead was original with his own take on entertainment. As a guitar player myself I’ve never seen anything like his playing. Tapping with 4 fingers making the guitar sound like something a computer would create to the melodic, pop, hard rock fusion was impressive. Have an open mind and ear and follow his songs. He didn’t take himself too seriously and throws humor and non musical entertainment in the mix. I danced, rocked and at times just mezmorized. Great entertainment for the money.

  • Buckethead Absolutely Rocked

by CFWahoo on 5/22/18Ponte Vedra Concert Hall - Ponte Vedra BeachRating: 4 out of 5

Buckethead went from runs in 128th notes to super elaborate grooving funky riffs. I was transported to another dimension, temporarily of course, listening to Buckethead play. You've got to love hard rock lead guitar to really appreciate Buckethead, but if you do, don't miss him!
