Buckethead was Great!
by Sandman85 on 5/22/18Ponte Vedra Concert Hall - Ponte Vedra BeachRating: 5 out of 5One of the best guitar players I've ever heard. So much talent from one man. Bravo!
One of the most talented guitarists alive today.
by dredaydolphin on 5/21/18Culture Room - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5If you have not seen Buckethead play, go, go now, don't wait. Seriously.
I have seen the pentacle of guitar masters
by StudentofYngwie on 5/21/18Culture Room - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5Such a great show. Next time it should be at Parker Playhouse. Culture room books way too many people and not enough restrooms for the Ladies. It was a sweat box but glad I was able to see this show. I hope to see him again and hope he stays in good health. Can’t wait to see more of his work in the near future. Stay well

Show did not start until 10:00 pm, something that could had been announced as, open doors at 7:00 pm drinks until 9:30, but knowing the unconventional Bucket it is all at the end of the night ok. Atleast for me. Great show
Buckethead delayed
by Upsettinglulu on 4/23/18The Stone Pony - Asbury ParkRating: 2 out of 5I am a big Buckethead fan and was so excited to see that he was performing at Stone Pony. I actually planned an entire vacation to Asbury Park because of his show. The night started positive. Being general admission, lines were forming outside around 5pm. Doors opened at 7pm I was waiting since 6:15pm outside. Doors opened pretty promptly at 7. Everyone was standing inside and excitement turned into frustration because Buckethead had no opener and did not come on stage until 9:45pm. The venue played the same 5-6 songs on repeat for almost 3 hours. People were getting angry, irritated and even some people started passing out before the show even started. It was very disappointing to say the least. Once he came on, I felt like he was a bit off. I had seen him a couple other times and I was awe struck both times. This time, not so much.

by martinNYC on 4/17/18The Stone Pony - Asbury ParkRating: 5 out of 5I felt like I was teleported to 2050 just to have a look on what rock would (and should) look like.

2 and a half hours late with no explanation
by DavefromOceanport on 4/17/18The Stone Pony - Asbury ParkRating: 1 out of 5Well, I wasted $30. Me and hundreds of people waited listening to the same 10 songs over and over with no explanation of what the hold up was. Im actually fairly certain the guy on the PA trying to sell tickets said Buckethead was there an hour into waiting. After 2 hours and some time later I decided to leave. The door man said Buckethead just got there and was gonna go on soon. I doubled back but was too annoyed an left. If he was really delayed The Stone Pony handled it horribly. I think they just want to sell over priced booze.
The show too late
by obabich on 4/17/18The Stone Pony - Asbury ParkRating: 1 out of 5after waiting for 1.5 hours after the show start time we left because there was no buckethead . no one from the venue made any attempt to communicate what was happening or when the show was going to start. This was a general admission show, so everybody was standing and waiting. Shame on buckethead for being late and Stone Pony for showing they do not care about their costumers.
it took 2h30 hours to start the show
by martinNYC on 4/17/18The Stone Pony - Asbury ParkRating: 1 out of 5- waited for too much for the show to get started - no explanations, as you know, bh only talks through his puppets - the music was good overall but a lot of guitar solos missing, like the one for toy store
Buckethead at the Wilbur (Boston)
by Missle92 on 4/16/18The Wilbur - BostonRating: 2 out of 5In general, I was disappointed. The sound system was not functioning well. The show started 65 minutes late. The seats were not comfortable. I was prepared to listen to music I might not like and that is mostly what I got.
Buckethead good, Wilbur sound techs Terrible
by Jablomehaywoodya on 4/16/18The Wilbur - BostonRating: 1 out of 5The sound was UNBEARABLY loud. I am a big buckethead fan but never have I been so uncomfortable for an entire show because of how overly loud the speakers were. DOZENS of people around me were covering their ears during the show. I am hard pressed to write a bad review but this was such a bad experience at the Wilbur that the sound techs in charge should have a second look at their jobs. It was that bad. And too bad because Buckethead rocks! Wilbur - do better team - I know you can. This is the first show I've felt this way but it was so bad I'll think twice about next show I go to there.
Just Listen to him speak through his Music
by ShandraR on 4/16/18The Wilbur - BostonRating: 5 out of 5BuckEThead is a intriguing persona, a superhero. His brilliant guitar playing mixed with a few facts about him make him a legend. Hes not a sell out. I don't pretend to know anything about the guitar and was scared to press the kill button on his guitar, but I did. Just like he goes in front of thousands and is most likely not comfy doing it. BuckEThead pushes on with a crazy performance schedule. The mask... yeah.. first thought for most is its silly, but it just makes sense if you have an open, kind mind and learn a few things about him. (which seems not what he wants). The Wilbur was packed, although a little sleepy for a typical Bucket show, I think a lot of people there were seeing him for the first time. We all want just a little gesture, a nod, something... but so aloof, it keeps us all wanting more!
My face was melted off
by MJM2144 on 4/15/18The Wilbur - BostonRating: 5 out of 5Unbelievable performance. I’ve never seen anything like it.
Probably the best show you will ever see.
by Babyface81 on 4/15/18The Wilbur - BostonRating: 5 out of 5An overwhelming and mind blowing experience. Seeing him live will change your life and what you think is possible from a concert experience. Expectations will be shattered in a good way. There isn’t another show from the hundreds of concerts I’ve attended that will ever be close to as good. A master musician who is still somehow getting even better. A once in a lifetime experience.
