  • YouTube show

by Minglewood on 4/18/19The Wilbur - BostonRating: 3 out of 5

Buckethead didn’t do or play anything different than what we’ve already seen endlessly on YouTube. He should bring his band back so he can spice up his show a bit. Balcony seats at The Wilbur are insanely uncomfortable. $16 draft beers??? We left early at 9:30.

  • Best Concert Ever

by Chris & Mimy on 4/15/19Sony Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Great Music, great show, Buckethead makes America great again! We shifted our flight from Berlin to New York by a day just to see his concert at Sony Hall. If this guy wouldn't come to us, we come to him. Thanks for letting us play the kill switch and the toy - got the Easter egg decoration kit I always wanted to have.

  • Best show ever

Buckethead show was truly an experience I’ll carry on forever. Seeing such talent is great, but the sheer amount of generosity bucket displayed and his playing were extraordinary. If you got a chance to see bucket DO IT. You’ll love it.

Buckethead never disappoints. This show sounded much better in this venue as compared to the previous one I saw Buckethead at. BB Kings

  • Awesome Show

by Paul T on 4/14/19Sony Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

I’ve never seen a guitar player play as fast and clean as Buckethead did on this night. The show was incredible.

  • left early

Cool venue but solo show of shredding guitar by a "faceless" and "Voiceless" person with no backing band was boring. More excitement on the streets and in the sheets.

  • Good Time

    by M.P.S. on 4/14/19Sony Hall - New YorkRating: 3 out of 5

We all know buckethead can shred. After a while for me personally the rock riffs and chords would get boring. I think if he played with maybe a drummer and bassist as well, things would be a little more interesting. Overall it was worth seeing Buckethead and the venue was great, I just personally think he should play with a live band and maybe play some other types of his diverse tracks which I know he has under the hood.

  • Where’s the band?

by EPS on 4/14/19Sony Hall - New YorkRating: 1 out of 5

The reason I got to see live music is to see an entire band play together not one guy playing over his tracks so he can keep more of the revenue... Changing his name from Buckethead to Boringhead ..

  • Living his bliss!

by Mejo on 4/14/19Sony Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Sony Hall is a cool, intimate venue. We were 10 feet from the stage, about 5 people deep. Buckethead has amazing technique, and he was engaging without speaking. I didnt know much about bim before, but I was really impressed with his music. My husband and I would love to see him come to the Paramount in Huntington!!

  • Everything I hoped it would be.

    by S. H. on 4/14/19Sony Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

That Buckethead is an incredible musician is a given. Now I know, he's also a "performer." How someone with a bucket on their head can "connect" with an audience, I'll never understand. But he does it as well as anyone. His epic shredding is even more amazing in person. If you enjoy any of his recordings, live takes to a whole 'nother level. I don't think I've had as much fun at a show since Alice Cooper. With affordable tickets in small venues, you can't ask for a better deal in entertainment. I will be going again next time he comes through, no doubt.

  • Stony Pony should open up earlier when there is a show.

  • Great Show

by Brian on 4/10/19Baltimore Soundstage - BaltimoreRating: 5 out of 5

Buckethead was tight on the songs being played. Great sound. Heavy jamming and lots of shredding. Also some soft stuff to melt your face. If you can see the show The Show Stopper. Toy time is great. Also lets you do kill switch at the end of the show.

  • No reason NOT to go see Buckethead:

by yanemarie on 3/24/19Culture Room - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

If you are looking for showmanship, dedication, human decency, technical excellence, and robot dancing, then the Buckethead concert is for you. You won't hear cussing nor degradation of anyone... Even the fans are respectable! I took my almost 15yo son to see him. We arrived at 5:30 and made the line, entered the venue at 7:30 and watched Aerosmith open up for Big B... On a monitor. It killed the time alright. At 9:10 or so, Big B showed up and played with a recorded back-up, which was perfectly suitable as we go to hear his playing not the band's. He danced like a robot, swung his nunchunks, gave away toys, allowed fans to hit the killswitch, saved the galaxy from space monsters, became the hero of children everywhere, and ended his show with a small, warm, grateful wave. We'll surely make efforts to see his performing when he comes down to South Florida again. God bless Buckethead. God bless the people who help him.

  • Fabulous Guitarit, Fabulous Venue

by Rabbi on 3/23/19Ponte Vedra Concert Hall - Ponte Vedra BeachRating: 5 out of 5

BUCKETHEAD -even though he is alone playing with accompaniment tracks, he is so fabulous that you don't notice -I've seen Steve Vai, Tosin Abasi, Yngwie live and numerous others on video and Buckethead is unique because of his particular style combined with meaningful use of effects and his lack of concern about sticking with only one or maybe two genres of music...when I was therefore I truly felt like I was seeing a world class guitarist...I believe that Buckethead can go onstage with ANY guitarist of any style/genre and would not be able to make Buckethead look like the inferior guitarist of the two, and Buckethead potentially would outshine him/her -plays mostly rock, but there isn't a bit of heavy metal, a lengthy blues song, some dance-worthy songs and quite a bit of easy listening songs...he doesn't play every genre out there but hits quite a few! -Was it a concert? Was it Santa Claus at Christmas time? Was it a dancer? Was it Blue Man Group? It was all of the above -I wish Buckethead would have played longer; I think he ended after two hours (although he only took about five minutes of break within that two hours) and I was amazed at how his fret hand showed zero sign of fatigue or error despite doing a lot of thrash metal-speed shredding PONTE VEDRA CONCERT HALL -excellent small venue where even if you are at the back you are only about twelve rows back if they laid seats out like a movie theater -the side hall has bars and is decorated very well, looks very cool so that you want to hang out there -because it used to be a church, they have parking on site so you don't have to spend additional money +/or time looking for parking!!! -bathrooms are high class

  • Buckethead

Really enjoyed him. Third time seeing him and will go again next spring!! He is the best guitarist i have ever seen😀 and his talent is endless.

  • Incredible!!!!

by R. R. on 3/23/19Ponte Vedra Concert Hall - Ponte Vedra BeachRating: 5 out of 5

I’ve been a fan of Buckethead for over 20 years but never was able to see him live until March 20, 2019 at Ponte Vedra Concert Hall in Florida. And he was even better than I could have imagined. He walked out and just dominated playing for over 2 and half hours. He used one guitar no changes and just played song after song. He passed out gifts and gave me a Zombie Minecraft toy that I will display forever. He let me play his guitar by hitting the kill switch while he fingered the notes on the frets of the neck. Was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at s concert. I’ve seen all the great guitarists from Slash, BB King, Eric Clapton, And Buddy Guy, Steve Vai, and more but Buckethead is by far the best I’ve ever heard or seen play the guitar. He is in a class by himself. Best show ever!!!

I wasn’t sure what to expect about this guy that hides his face and wears a bucket over his head...but oh my God! What an amazing musician! I absolutely loved this performance! Buckethead played a solid two hours...I could have listened and danced another two:-)
