Buckethead was 1 hr + late and we left the show.
by MusicLoverSouthie on 5/17/16The Wilbur - BostonRating: 1 out of 5After waiting for 1 hour, we left, and apparently he showed up soon after. So, I have nothing to review other than to say I am incredibly disappointed. This was the ONE concert my 13 year old son wanted to see (and I have taken him to many) and I was really looking forward to it, too. Needless to say, we were both very disappointed and will probably not ever get tickets to see him again.
Guitarist's guitarist
by FunkMetalFan on 5/15/16Howard Theatre - WashingtonRating: 4 out of 5A solo guitar show (one number was electric bass) showcasing the talented Buckethead. Most of the tunes I didn't specifically recognize but most were in his funk-metal style. Bass and drums were synthetic, which I usually don't like, but in this case they supported his work. This was a standing room only show at the Howard Theater. Fans in front were treated to prizes from his santa-bag and an opportunity to "play" the e-whammy bar on his Gibson.

buckethead
by kevin580 on 5/10/16B.B. King Blues Club & Grill - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5I have seen many great guitarist Frank Zappa, leslie west, Johnny Winters, Stevie ray Vaughn and Steve Howe to name a few Buckethead is as good as any I've seen and can entertain in a unique and fun way with no band I was mesmerized by his stage persona and his superior guitar and song writing skills I will for sure see him again. The fans are respectful to each other and make the experience even that much more enjoyable like a community under one bucket. I loved BB Kings as well, I"ll go see him where ever but I hope he'll be there! the parking deal was good the staff were very good loved it.
Exclusive show!! Buckethead is a Mastermind!
by ObscureCXSoundz on 5/10/16B.B. King Blues Club & Grill - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5Seeing Buckethead live is rare. His entire performance was phenomenal. Not everyone can witness such talent live. He kept the crowd going and eager to find out what he's going to do next. Played both the electric guitar and bass, plus some side acts which were fantastic. Venue and sound system was great!
Buckethead 5/5/16
by IONEYE on 5/8/16The Wilbur - BostonRating: 5 out of 5Amazing venue and wonderful sound all around. Buckethead was incredible as always, and his overall mix and tone was phenomenal. Thank you again!!
Go. See. Buckethead.
by TBonita on 5/8/16The Wilbur - BostonRating: 5 out of 5Buckethead is quite possibly the most unique, inspiring, perplexing, and phenomenal guitar player ever. His stage presence, albeit calm and silent, is extremely powerful and amazing! This dude is tapped into something... Go. See. Him. Buckethead!! Please come to Portland, Maine someday! The State Theater would go wild!
Great performer. Amazing guitarist.
by Nhead on 5/8/16The Wilbur - BostonRating: 4 out of 5Buckethead has great stage presence. From break dancing robot moves to knumb chuck karate moves to guitar virtuosity he owned the stage. Which isn't too hard since he's the only one on it. Visually you can't take your eyes off the lean 6'5" man in black with the porcelain mask and trademark KFC bucket on his head. Just a great, fun show. Unfortunately he was over an hour late getting started ...
Awesome!
by rotcopter on 5/8/16The Wilbur - BostonRating: 5 out of 5One of the best shows I've been to in a long time!
Best one yet!
by TheIronMaiden1 on 5/8/16The Wilbur - BostonRating: 5 out of 5I've seen him a few times and it's been a few years since the last but- and I thought this was hard to believe but he was shockingly EVEN BETTER than before. I think he's even faster and more precise than ever! He still does the toy trade, still does "Binge and Grab" from the Deli Creeps, Jordan, Whitewash, Soothsayer, Nanchaku and the insanely ridiculous bass solo that I LOVE. The performance was flawless and obvious he has done nothing but practice and hone his skills since I saw him last. He's gone almost full robot now! Unbelievable!
OUTSTANDING!!!
by Mattyyyyy on 5/6/16Wilbur Theater - BostonRating: 5 out of 5Wasn't sure what to expect. Got more than I bargained for. To say he's "awesome" would be an understatement. Totally blown away. Totally incredible. How he's managed to stay under the radar for so long I'll never know. It's like Hendrix, jimmy page, nils lofgren, al dimeola, randy rhodes, alvin lee, eddie van halen, andres segovia, pete townshend, and jeff beck in the same person. Would give six stars if I could. No opening act, just non-stop for over two hours.
Not like any other artist you've seen....
by sublm24 on 11/7/14House of Blues, Streetlight Records, Great American Music Hall, The Warfield, The Fillmore, The Independent, several other venues - SF, Sac, Anaheim, San JoseRating: 5 out of 5I've seen Buckethead about 15 times now since 2002. He's one of the most unique guitar players you will ever see and he is highly entertaining. I don't know what else to say, 5 stars for Buckethead for sure.
Amazing!!!
by Robkmorris on 1/31/13Great American Music Hall - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5I've seen him twice now. Absolutely Amazing. His tickets are always cheap, and puts on an Excellent show. Favorite guitarist!!! I WILL be going to another show, whenever he tours again.
Mind blowing
by Larkin57 on 9/29/12black Sheep - Colorado SpringsRating: 5 out of 5By far the most entertaining guitarist I have ever witnessed. I have seen Page, Clapton, Vai, Satriani, John Mclughlin, Blackmore, and all the rest. Bucket head will amaze you in ways these other guys can't. He (?) plays the impossible and the melodic as well. I suggest an intimate hall to get the full effect. seeing as we'll as hearing the experience is necessary. this guy is a must see...Colorado Springs Black Sheep concert hall.9-27-12
Buckethead at the Uptown was top notch
by Brwhyan on 9/12/12Uptown Theatre Napa - NapaRating: 5 out of 5A small venue for a monster player - I have seen Buckethead many times, but he was on fire at the Uptown and I feel it was to the small crowd and setting. Thanks goes out to Ben Samples as well, great performance. Oh yes, and Thank you Buckethead for the awesome toy you gave me!!!! Way better than Santa
Totally unique performer.
by samson452 on 9/12/12Uptown Theatre Napa - NapaRating: 4 out of 5Highly recommended. This guy is unlike anybody. Great guitar player with the ability to entertain on his own. A must see.

Justa a gal who accompinied her musician husband to this show. I have heard Bucketheads music and really enjoyed it....even better live. Only then you can fully grasp the speed and clever riffs he puts out! Fun little side shows too! Thanks for the magnetic drawing board!
Incredible Guitarist!
by JHorwege on 9/12/12Uptown Theatre Napa - NapaRating: 4 out of 5Yes.. He's kinda strange. Yes.. He's pretty much a one man show with all pre-recorded accompaniments, (drums, bass, etc). But MAN... Can that guy play guitar. Only downer was that he only played for a touch over an hour. We drove a long way for a one hour show. He just stopped playing, turned to his right, held up his open left hand in a 2 second wave to the crowd while walking off.
Buckethead is awesome
by skymountainman on 9/12/12Uptown Theatre Napa - NapaRating: 5 out of 5Buckethead puts on a great show , this is the second time Ive seen him. Yes he is an amazing guitarist but why I really like his show is because of how funny and kind he is., it is obvious that he loves his fans and he puts a lot into his show to give to us.
