  • OMG

    by Aminor1950 on 5/31/16Culture Room - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

OMG ))))* Bucket' rocked the Culture Room, SO HARD, that my face started to melt! I knew Bucket' going in, but I had no idea what I was actually 'in' for. He plays loudly and ferociously, but has an intuitive sense of melody; it's what I appreciate about him. He didn't disappoint in the least; from blistering and incendiary, speed induced flechette rounds, to softer, chord laden, melodic countermeasures, it all happened. The was also much robotic, mechanical demonstration, the ever popular toy give-a-way, a spirited set of nunchaku kata, crowd participation in engaging the kill-switches, and the much appreciated foam-hand manipulation! Herbie even made an appearance to issue us a few words! I haven't ever seen such percussive guitar work; it's volcanic! He uses that beat to lace his melodies and solos in-and-around.

  • Buckethead is simply amazing!

The venue is pretty good. Buckethead took the stage with authority and never let up the entire time! Hands down the most amazing guitarist. Period. Jumped in to Soothsayer early on and mixed it up nicely. Of course he played Jordan and did some craziness with The Embalmer. Throughout it all he mixed in a lot of his diversity and ended with an house rocking rendition of Nottingham Lace leaving a stunned and amazed audience thrilled to have spent their night with such talent. Let's not wait another four years to do it again!

Man wears bucket on head, plays guitar. A+ entertainment experience.

  • Two and a half hours of pure imagination!

    by Goldfish19 on 5/31/16Culture Room - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

From start to end Buckethead was amazing. During his show he did everything he is known for. From his fast playing to soulful riffs, showing off his puppet and handing out gifts. He even allowed people to tab the kill switch on his guitar to make the show unique. Days later I still find myself thinking of the show and smiling. Totally awesome!!

Buckethead is a unique individual with unbelievable skills. There aren't enough words to describe how talented this man is. I will never miss another one of his shows. If you have a chance to see him, GO!

In the past 35 years, I've seen some of the best guitar players in the world but Buckethead totally blew me away! What a talent! No need for a band since he writes and records all his music. Never a dull moment during the show.

Ok so Buckethead was amazing. I’ve been to literally hundreds of shows and never experienced anything quite like that, Watching someone is is quite possibly the best they are at what they do is something to behold. I mean here is this amazing musician that never speaks and hides his identity walking around the stage like he is 1/4 ninja, 1/4 robot, 1/4 Babbadook and the last 1/4 a spider. At times it was like the music was assaulting me in the best way possible, Also the most eclectic fanbase I’ve ever seen. From people in pushing their 70’s to hipsters and everything in between All in all an amazing night that is hard to put into words.

  • It can NEVER get better than Buckethead!!!!

by JohnnyDollar1 on 5/28/16Ponte Vedra Concert Hall - Ponte Vedra BeachRating: 5 out of 5

If you don't know the name you will never understand. If you do... you know it's never gonna get any better in any way than BUCKERHEAD. I'm 62, I've seen a lot of performers in my time. You need to trust me on this. Go see him if he's within a days drive from you. It's been 8 years since he's visited Florida. See him while he's still on the road near you! You won't go wrong

  • Buckethead is the greatest!

by punkrocktrish on 5/28/16Ponte Vedra Concert Hall - Ponte Vedra BeachRating: 5 out of 5

Buckethead is the greatest guitar player of our time. He took the time to involve the audience. He let people play his guitar and handed out toys. Great all ages show. He is really talented and sweet.

  • Buckethead put on quite a show !

by Mtthww56 on 5/28/16Ponte Vedra Concert Hall - Ponte Vedra BeachRating: 5 out of 5

Definitely not your everyday run of the mill guitarist ! Buckethead put on about a 2 hour show that neved had a boring moment. Wether it was his amazing guitar work, or his stage show that included nunchucks, flying robots, handing out small toys, or letting people in the audience strum his guitar as he did the finger work, he kept the audience engaged and entertained. He got some great tones out of his guitar to go along with a mix of finess and blazing speed. A must see for guitarists. If you have an opportunity to catch him live, don't miss it !

  • Epic performance

by Matthadder421 on 5/28/16Ponte Vedra Concert Hall - Ponte Vedra BeachRating: 5 out of 5

This event is not to be missed! Buckethead is an amazing artist in general, however watching him play live is entirely different experience. Any guitar aficionados will be floored, and those who do not play guitar will be blown away by sheer talent.

  • My second time seeing Buckethead...

by midlandmike on 5/24/16Variety Playhouse - AtlantaRating: 2 out of 5

UNFORTUNATELY, ONCE IS ENOUGH. Simply boring. He is amazing, yet incredibly boring. Unless he starts a real band, I am done with Buckethead concerts.

  • Buckethead awesome - security pathetic

by Gilbilly on 5/24/16Variety Playhouse - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

Buckethead jammed for 100 minutes less a few minutes to share gifts with his fans, let them play his Les Paul and perform some nun-chuck skills. Buckethead rocked - he must have finger tips of metal to shred that long. On the downside of the show there was at least one so drunk idiot that smelled of puke and disturbed all the up-front concert goers he deserved a beati down and bouncing - but even when the non-wasted fans motioned for security they did absolutely nothing. If I was a dainty young lass I would have feared for my life. Thankfully I could have pummeled this turd if I had the ambition. Next time security better be useful!!

Great to see him after four years show was amazing as always!

  • Buckethead is MUST SEE!

by Rewopyeroc on 5/24/16Variety Playhouse - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

Most fascinating and entertaining show I have been too. His theatrics are second to none, love the showmanship and originality that he provides to his music. The music was full of energy and constantly interchanging, his guitar work is very captivating. Seemed very rehursed yet random at the same time. I would say his shows are a work of art of which he has mastered. Definitely not a typical concert so if you are seeking just straight forward jams then his show may not be for you, however, if you are open minded to a different concert experience then he is a MUST SEE!!!!
