BRANDI CARLILE IN CONCERT:
Alt-country sweetheart Brandi Carlile has crowned Billboard's Top Folk Albums chart twice since her 2005 debut, and it's easy to see why as she performs her heart-rending tunes in concert. Carlile is a world-class belter, and the perfect way her voice cracks when she goes big makes visceral tunes like "The Story" and "The Eye" all the more powerful. Country and folk are squarely in her wheelhouse, but she also dabbles in styles as diverse as rock, R&B, and blues, making for a dynamic concert experience anchored by her elegant songwriting and emotive voice. Whether she's performing songs from 2015's The Firewatcher's Daughter or making jaws drop with her soaring cover of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah", Carlile never fails to impress ticket buyers with her poise, gorgeous voice, and good-natured stage presence.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Brandi Carlile was born and raised in rural Washington state, where she began performing with her mother and brother at age eight. She taught herself to play guitar, and by her teens she was penning her own songs and singing backup for an Elvis impersonator. By her twenties she was performing in Seattle's music scene with her twin brothers, and in 2004 she signed with Columbia Records. Her self-titled 2005 debut topped Billboard's Folk Albums chart, introducing fans to her powerful voice and heart-on-sleeve songwriting. She teamed up with legendary producer T Bone Burnett for her 2007 sophomore album The Story, with stellar results -- the album peaked at No. 10 on the rock charts and scored a breakthrough hit with its title track. Since then Carlile has toured extensively and released four more acclaimed albums including 2011's Live at Benaroya Hall with the Seattle Symphony and 2015's The Firewatcher's Daughter.

From the relaxed atmosphere to the incredible music. Truly a night to remember. To hear Brandi's new Album and for her to share her stories about writing the songs. Then to get a hour of Brandi and band playing music for us was fantastic. Loved the whole night!!

If you haven’t seen Brandi Tim and Phil live you are missing out. This show was a listening party but they also played acoustic versions of half of the new album along with a handful of audience requests. A bonus was having Sista Strings too. This band is super talented, excels in live format and they are good people.
This band is one of the best things about Seattle! Do yourself a favor and go to one of their shows. It's a bubble of love and incredible music.
She is such an amazing singer it makes the hairs on your neck stand up. Her band and strings are the best with her voice. She is a great performer and she really feels the music she is singing.

Never disappointed with Brandi and her band. Beautiful vocals and music….songs are wonderful and heartfelt…..love the her audience engagement…. The band members are great musicians and the String Sistas were an incredible addition to performance. Loved every minute of it!
This is the 6th Brandi Carlile concert I’ve been to and it was just as amazing and beautiful and exhilarating as the first. I will go see her and the band every single time I get the opportunity!!
I have been to many concerts in my 50+ years and seen a lot of amazing musicians and singers. But, the energy and passion that Brandi Carlile brings is unmatched. I was very impressed with the way she highlights the other musicians. Brandi comes across as being very comfortable, sharing the spotlight. She is not only an extremely talented musician, but very generous as well. I loved every minute of her concert and I never wanted it to end!!!!
Brandi rocked the house! She maintained a nice balance of new and older favorites. The twins were amazing performers. And the Sista’s were amazing musicians - with their vocals as well as strings. Great concert!

INDESCRIBABLE, AMAZING, ANGELIC VOICE! People make Brandi Carlie a bucket list concert to go see. Her voice, the harmony she and the Hanseroth twins (her band, co writers of songs) that have bern with her for 25 years, then add in the Sista Strings and the sound is AWESOME AMAZING, just out of this world!!! There are no fancy lights, no laser lights just pure beautiful voices. Brandi’s energy and her CONNECTION with the audience was SPECIAL! Really my review is not doing justice as to how amazing and great her performance was. Thank you Brandi Carlie
I recommend seeing Brandi Carlile show enough! It was absolutely incredible! I was visiting from out of the area and was lucky enough to be there the night of her show!
We thoroughly enjoyed the concert. All are so talented and Brandi is just too darn cute! She shared some personal stories that further endeared her to the crowd. The performances by the Hanseroth twins were a pleasure to hear, and the Sistas filled the venue with a full bodied richness and explosion of sound. Their duet was thoroughly entertaining and captivated all who were in attendance. Brandi deserves every accolade available for the lyrics, the harmony, her performances, the messages of her songs, and for her support of those who came before her and for inspiring those still to come.
