BRANDI CARLILE IN CONCERT:

Alt-country sweetheart Brandi Carlile has crowned Billboard's Top Folk Albums chart twice since her 2005 debut, and it's easy to see why as she performs her heart-rending tunes in concert. Carlile is a world-class belter, and the perfect way her voice cracks when she goes big makes visceral tunes like "The Story" and "The Eye" all the more powerful. Country and folk are squarely in her wheelhouse, but she also dabbles in styles as diverse as rock, R&B, and blues, making for a dynamic concert experience anchored by her elegant songwriting and emotive voice. Whether she's performing songs from 2015's The Firewatcher's Daughter or making jaws drop with her soaring cover of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah", Carlile never fails to impress ticket buyers with her poise, gorgeous voice, and good-natured stage presence.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Brandi Carlile was born and raised in rural Washington state, where she began performing with her mother and brother at age eight. She taught herself to play guitar, and by her teens she was penning her own songs and singing backup for an Elvis impersonator. By her twenties she was performing in Seattle's music scene with her twin brothers, and in 2004 she signed with Columbia Records. Her self-titled 2005 debut topped Billboard's Folk Albums chart, introducing fans to her powerful voice and heart-on-sleeve songwriting. She teamed up with legendary producer T Bone Burnett for her 2007 sophomore album The Story, with stellar results -- the album peaked at No. 10 on the rock charts and scored a breakthrough hit with its title track. Since then Carlile has toured extensively and released four more acclaimed albums including 2011's Live at Benaroya Hall with the Seattle Symphony and 2015's The Firewatcher's Daughter.

  • A really special experience!

    by Bucky509 on 10/22/25Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

When we moved to the Seattle area, I joined Brandi Carlile's fan club with the hope that she'd offer a special opportunity to hear her since she lives in the area. This night was it, as her fan club members were invited to this special engagement to hear her new album songs and learn about the backstory and inspiration for each song. I took my husband with me who wasn't previously a huge Brandi fan. He is now. We loved every song on Brandi's new album. Her voice is pure magic! I think she could sing anything. This was a night I won't soon forget.

  • An Absolute Gem

by SalishKnotStraights on 10/21/25Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Brandi Carlile is by far the raddest musician in today’s time. Beyond the music, which is phenomenal in sound, relatability and performance, she is down-to-earth and has created a community that supports one another as well as those underrepresented across the globe. The show for her fan-base was one of the greatest gifts of all time. Thank you!

  • Best live concert ever!

    by Mary S on 10/21/25Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

This was absolutely the best live concert I have ever attended! Having Brandi speak about each song and the inception of the new album, as well as Q&A with the audience was unbelievable. To top it off, she sang several songs that were requested by the audience. 3 full hours of Brandi, can’t stop thinking about what an amazing experience this was!

  • Sublime

What a night! I almost can’t put it into words. It was spiritual. It was uplifting. It was magical. It was just what the world needs now. Brandi, the twins and Sista Strings brought the magic Saturday and they did not disappoint. We danced, sang, laughed and soaked up the Bramily community she created. It was beyond expectations!

  • That’s how you make magic

by Cantarah on 10/21/25Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Magical, real, thrilling - a delight and privilege to be included in the Bramily special show at the Paramount Theater introducing Brandi’s latest album. These smaller theaters are the best ! Can’t wait until RTM It hits the world / I hope it sells millions.

  • Wow!

I’ve been following Brandi‘s music since she started in small venues in Seattle. I’ve loved everything she’s produced. This concert however is the true Brandi style that I fell in love with. Brandi is an exceptional songwriter and singer. This show was incredible.

  • Pure Bramily Magic

by LovedAsYouAre on 10/21/25Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

This was certainly not my first Brandi show, but it was my first experience at the Paramount and neither disappointed! The event was incredible and hearing the album and the stories behind it made for an incredibly beautiful evening. Brandi and all the musicians in the band are beyond talented and I feel so lucky to have their music in my life. All I can say is, go out and buy the album now and hopefully we get to see her again at the Gorge if a tour is announced!!
