Bluesy singer/songwriter Bonnie Raitt has worked long and hard for her multiple Grammy Awards, hit singles and chart-topping records. Since her 1971 eponymous debut, the California-born performer and long-time activist has steadily maintained a music career, albeit with definite peaks and valleys. The red-headed songstress, one of the only women of her time to play guitar using the bottleneck technique, unleashed seven albums in just nine years, though her big commercial break came with her 10th studio set, 1989’s “Nick of Time.” That 11-track collection, produced by Don Was, earned three Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year.
Not only has the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer tackled multiple U.S. tours and international runs, but she’s also a frequent participant in events of social activism, such as Farm Aid and Amnesty International concerts.
Raitt’s 16th full-length album and most recent studio release, “Slipstream,” hit retailers in 2012. Not only did ticket sales for the support tour soar, but Raitt also landed the best-selling blues album of the year and took home the Grammy for Best Americana Album.

Excellent show. Very nice little venue. I loved that Jimmy Vaughn and band came out at the end and they all played together. Bonnie and Jimmy seemed to have a certain connection.
First of all the venue, the Andrew J Brady center, was fantastic. Bonnie seemed so relaxed and having fun. It was as if she was in your living room or you in her's. She sounded terrific! The love in the air was thick, from the audience and Bonnie. It was a joy to have my spirits lifted by one of the most talented women of our generation!
Absolutely amazing concert from an absolutely amazing artist!! Bonnie Raitt doesnt disappoint.
Had a great night listening to Bonnie Raitt. Comfortable seats. I did have to pick up my tickets there instead of being able to download my tickets to my iPhone wallet. I don’t live near Adler Theatre so that was a little of an inconvenience.
Bonnie Raitt, and Jimmie Vaughn as opener, what could be more amazing. She is out of this world talented. Great show as always
I have seen Bonnie Raitt 12 times now. Every show is great. First , she always recognizes the warmup band and comments on them. She will show much appreciation for her own band and crew. Also has very positive comments about fellow artists, especially female guitar players. She also comments on the show venue and how much she enjoys playing there. And interacts with the audience and comments on how much she appreciates their support. As for the concert, every show is like her first time. Full of energy and emotion, not a sign of being bored with doing her songs over so many years. So many great songs that each show is a bit different but still familiar. I will attend every show I can as long as Bonnie is still playing.
Jimmy Vaughn and Bonnie Raitt were incredible and we would recommend their concerts to everyone! Amazing!
Bonnie Raitt was fabulous. She is amazing. I really loved the venue. Much more intimate than a larger place. I would attend again tomorrow!
It was awesome to see Bonnie and her band. Had a great time. The sound, lights and staging was all very well done.
Another great show at the timeless Chicago theater. Waited awhile to see Bonnie Raitt but it was worth it. Great show with songs from her playlist and those of her mentors. Opening and encore act Jimmy Vaughn and the Tilt a Whirl band were great to listen to as well.
Bonnie Raitt is a powerhouse! Somehow, unbelievably, each time I see her is better than the last. Great band! Jimmy Vaughn as the opener was the perfect accompaniment. Amazing show!
She has lost nothing. Her voice is just as soaring and brilliant as ever. Great supporting band.
Bonnie Raitt is always Amazing. I was Happily surprised with the tilt a whirl band!!! The Chicago Theatre is beautiful!!!! Special props to Dorothy our usher She is a gem.
The Adler is a beautiful setting but seats bit uncomfortable with no leg room. Acoustics good. But Bonnie Raitt & her band are fantastic!! They put on great show, time on stage unbelievable! So glad started with Jimmie Vaughn & he joined Bonnie at end of show!
Absolutely loved bonnie.I've seen her a few times in the past. This is the first time I have heard her perform.Angel from montgomery live, I openly.Wept, I would suggest going and see this legend. While you can.
Bonnie is a true pro. Super quality band mates, excellent voice and interaction with the audience. Sound was spectacular. She’s a tiny little lady with a huge presence.
Bonnie Raitt exceeded all my expectations! She and Jimmy Vaughn made for an unforgettable night 🌟
I was thoroughly impressed by Bonnie's humanity, skills, and set list. I can absolutely recommend that you see her perform.
From the theater to opening act to Bonnie herself, it was perfect. Especially nice were the ushers who upheld the no phone requirement that Bonnie has. She always allows for pictures at the end of the show and it makes sense why she doesn't want random clips of her show floating around. Bravo all around!
