Bluesy singer/songwriter Bonnie Raitt has worked long and hard for her multiple Grammy Awards, hit singles and chart-topping records. Since her 1971 eponymous debut, the California-born performer and long-time activist has steadily maintained a music career, albeit with definite peaks and valleys. The red-headed songstress, one of the only women of her time to play guitar using the bottleneck technique, unleashed seven albums in just nine years, though her big commercial break came with her 10th studio set, 1989’s “Nick of Time.” That 11-track collection, produced by Don Was, earned three Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year.
Not only has the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer tackled multiple U.S. tours and international runs, but she’s also a frequent participant in events of social activism, such as Farm Aid and Amnesty International concerts.
Raitt’s 16th full-length album and most recent studio release, “Slipstream,” hit retailers in 2012. Not only did ticket sales for the support tour soar, but Raitt also landed the best-selling blues album of the year and took home the Grammy for Best Americana Album.

Great show. Bonnie Raitt really did a great job. Her band is excellent.
Bonnie's voice is the best, enjoyed sarah, reminescent of KT Tunstal however wanted to hear more from Bonnie and her "Oldies". also wanted opportunity to "dance' and that wasnt happening in the lovely theatre. I also thought the expense was a bit much. I realize she has to pay her band the roadies the travel agency etc. The concert could have included a few more songs.
Sound was good and the musicians polished. I wish Bonnie would leave her political comments out of her performances. Musicians risk losing half of their audience.
Great great show! Not only can Bonnie sing, she plays a mean guitar. No question, together with other fine musicians in the band, she rocked the house!
Bonnie Raitt still has it! Her voice is fantastic, and the stories she told in between the songs were great. I hadn’t seen her since 1989 and the show was just as wonderful as it was back then, maybe even better!
Great performance and sound was excellent in theater.
It was wonderful seeing her. She was sharp & full of spunk and sounded like she did years ago. I loved it & so did my friends.
This was a great show. They had one technical issue with the sound. Excellent venue, very clean and the staff was very courteous and helpful. Very enjoyable!
I have been a fan of Bonnie Raitt for many years and finally had the chance of seeing her in concert, she interacts with the audience and makes you feel welcomed and appreciated, she plays and sings great!
At 75 BR is still an amazing performer. Opening act was good but a bit long.
Perfect concert. Great selection of old standards and newer songs. Personable with audience and voice still as good as ever. Sound crew did a good job in fixing a technical error at the beginning of the concert but she was on key and came across loud and clear.
We really enjoyed seeing Bonnie Raitt...she's a true American treasure. I've always enjoyed Bonnie's singing, in particular, her bluesy style, but it the concert, I was more than impressed with her amazing guitar work. Her band was terrific as well. We were in the Mezzanine Club section and the view was a bit distant; HOWEVER, at that section, they served scrumptious food and desserts!
Great venue. Bonnie Raitt was simply PERFECT and AMAZING. What a great opportunity to finally see such a talented icon!! One of the best concerts I’ve ever seen at The BROWARD Center.
The lights on the stage were pointed directly in my eyes. I had to lean to my right to see the performer.
Bonnie related well with audience and at 75 remains a great performer.. A plus concert in all regards.
Bonnie & band were superb . She is always great and this night was fantastic in the small Johnny Mercer venue. Bonnie voice gets better with age❤️
Good rapport with audience- her band has been with her a long time & it shows! GREAT concert.
She still has a great voice. it was such a fantastic concert. Our group really enjoyed the concert.
An incredible vocalist, musician and songwriter. Not sure why there was a restriction on video and photos but 10/10 would go again.
