Château St Michelle concert tonight was great! Joe Bonamassa, Kenny Wayne Shepherd & even a guest appearance by Bobby Rush. Great show! I have seen Joe Bonamassa Before. Love his energy and he is such a stellar guitar player. This is the first time seeing Kenny Wayne Shepherd in person. He definitely did not disappoint! This is one of my favorite venues. this show was fantastic.
The bands and musicians were great, the screening at the gates were not ran or organized very well. The VIP seating area seems like a waste of space since probably only 15% was occupied. The food options are improved over previous years. There is room for improvement at the Chateau St. Michelle venue.
Beautiful weather and music ... Staff was well run and organized.... All went smoothly in and out of concert !!!!!!!!!!!
King Solomon Hicks was a great young guitarist and I’ll be looking for him in the future. Of course Joe Bonamassa put on a great show and played from many of his albums. Kenny Wayne Sheppard also played a great set and ended it with Voodo Chile as always! Plus an oncore of a few songs to end an amazing evening of Rocking Blues. (My favorite)
It took us an hour to get the last half mile to the parking lot. The security line was just as long! The show started 15 minutes early. The only seating was in the back behind the vip seating that sat empty except for the 6 staff. So we never actually saw the bands. First of many years as they’ve been doing these shows they should have everything down by now.
My reserved seats at Chateau Saint Michelle Winery were well worth the little bit extra and give you access to nicer restrooms. The venue is easy to get to but really important to get there early as it is a 2 lane road that gets backed up. Kenny and Joe were the most amazing blues guitarists and I will remember it with love forever.
Every performer put on a excellent show. I especially like , instead of an encore, many of the musicians came out and playedc together.
Excellent show, perfect venue. Easily one of the best I've seen this year.
This was a terrific show. Excellent bands. I love this venue. My only minor gripe is the cost of the wine and food. Wine was $28+ per bottle. $10 per glass. A bit steep. Burgers and fries were $28, tho. Another concession had Sasquatch fries at like $28. For loaded fries! Wowza. Still, the venue is excellent. You can reserve onsite parking. I just wish the food and bev selections weren't so pricy. Still, I got a burger and fries and 2 bottles of wine, LOL. And had a great time, thank you!
Great concert!! Very poor planning on the grounds waiting. It should be opened sooner, even if just to sit the the spots on the lawn Better tham being crammed into lines for hrs. Also, reminders to people to sit so ita not such an interface to everyone behind them
