    Loved the blues fest.

by Bill on 8/21/22Springfield Symphony Hall - Springfield

Kingfish was incredible. Love his style. It is so musical. Not just him, the band too. Kenny was way cool too. And getting Kingfish and the Master to join him was a great idea. Humanity makes sure the blues will never go away.

    Not singing the Blues

by Barb on 8/21/22Springfield Symphony Hall - Springfield

This concert was terrific. Guitars, guitars, guitars and music you feel in your gut. The three acts were the perfect mix. Kingfish got it going with his special sound, Kenny Wayne Sheperd kept it going and the crowd singing. What a treat to see the legend himself Buddy Guy. I’m looking forward to the next Backroads Blue Festival.

    Down right badass!

by Ry guy on 8/21/22Springfield Symphony Hall - Springfield

As soon as my girlfriend and I got there the staff were so nice to us, we were treated with a smile as soon as we walked in! We got our tour shirts, and got to our seats. Kingfish came out and rocked the house, he’s amazing! Kenny Wayne Shepherd band came out and rocked the house, he’s amazing and they’re amazing! Then the almighty Buddy Guy came out and played some old blues and I could feel the sweet sensation of the guitar in his hands as he was playing it was magestic! I need to go to another backroads blues festival show again it’s amazing, it sucks that there was a curfew that they had to end the show!

    Great Nite of Blues!!

    by A. B. on 8/21/22Springfield Symphony Hall - Springfield

My husband and I haven't seen Kingfish before, and were not disappointed. His smooth, deep voice paired perfectly with his guitar playing. And then there was KWS & Noah -- there are no words. We go see them just about every year. So grateful they brought that one-of-a-kind sound to our area! And of course The Legend, Buddy Guy! Humor, stories, and his classic style! Fantastic night!

    Night Out

by Senior on 8/21/22Springfield Symphony Hall - Springfield

Good groups but Buddy Guy isn’t what he use to be. Very entertaining but more talk than songs

    Terrific evening of blues!

by Tony on 8/21/22Springfield Symphony Hall - Springfield

All three artists put on a terrific show. The venue was very well suited for the festival. The sound was good, the location was easy to get to, and parking was convenient. There were plenty of quality options for food and beverage before the festival began.

    Backwoods Blue Fest.

by Wiley Walt on 8/21/22Springfield Symphony Hall - Springfield

Great night with great music, I wish it was in an outdoor setting with an earlier start time as even Buddy Guy got upset when the stage lights went up, he wanted to play another hour... we ALL agreed!!

    So amazing

by Pete D. on 8/21/22Springfield Symphony Hall - Springfield

All three bands played a full concert. They were all amazing guitar blues. Highly enjoyable, went from 730 to midnight. Kws was smoking hot on guitar, kingfish is the future of blues rock with amazing guitar tone and buddy guy was terrific at 86 years old and the stories he tells are very enjoyable. Everybody needs to see this show!

Good Concert but Timing Could Have Been Better

by CSA on 8/21/22Springfield Symphony Hall - Springfield

We liked the venue and the music. Don't think the music needs to be as loud as it is. But Buddy Guy, the headliner, didn't start to play until 10:45. They should start earlier or streamline the breaks between groups and not drag the concert on so long.

Great Show at a great venue

by Tom Collins on 8/21/22Springfield Symphony Hall - Springfield

Kingfish was awesome, Kenny Wayne was awesome, and Buddy Guy is a legend. What more could I add, except that the Springfield Symphony Hall is a fantastic place to see a show. Hope they come back next year

    Backroads Blues

by Maggie on 8/21/22Springfield Symphony Hall - Springfield

Musicianship was excellent, including all the band members. The music was much too loud however, making it impossible to hear the words of KWS songs. Surprised that sound checks earlier in the day didn't pick up on that . Even the guitars themselves could have been a little softer.

    First act was awesome.

by Ole coot on 8/21/22Springfield Symphony Hall - Springfield

I really love KWS. Sadly, I'll probably never go see him again. At 64, this is the first concert that i have walked on. The volume was so crushingly loud that music was indistinguishable. I have seen KWS many times. Never gagin.

by Bob on 8/21/22Springfield Symphony Hall - Springfield

Kenny Wayne Shepard was on fire. Saw him about 10 years ago. Was not overly impressed. I must say this time he blew me away. Will defiantly look him up the next time he comes around. GREAT SHOW !!!!
