Duane Betts on Tour

Duane Betts is a talented American guitarist and singer-songwriter that continues to amaze fans with his unique combination of blues, rock, and country music melodies. Having spent many years playing with The Allman Brothers Band, Betts has developed into an entertaining showman that performs his best when the stands are packed with screaming fans.

While many people are drawn to Betts' music because of its deep, meaningful lyrics, it's his guitar abilities that blow people away. Many fans who have had the chance to watch Betts live mention that his guitar playing is effortless, almost like the guitar was made for him.

Even though Betts has been touring since he was 16 when he first stepped onstage with The Allman Brothers Band, he still makes it a point to create a memorable experience for his fans.

Catch Duane Betts live when he comes to a city near you.

Duane Betts Live in Concert

Growing up in Sarasota, Florida, Duane Betts had always been heavily involved in music. His dad was a founding member of The Allman Brothers Band and allowed Betts to explore his musical talents at an early age.

Betts picked up the guitar at 12 years old, but it didn't take long before he found his way to the stage. While he was 16, he had the opportunity to join The Allman Brothers Band onstage at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater and even made an appearance at Woodstock 94.

Throughout his 20s, Betts was part of several successful bands, including Backbone69 and Whitestarr. However, it wasn't until his father asked him to join the band, Great Southern, that Betts really found his foothold in the industry, touring nationally and internationally. He stayed with the band until his father's retirement in 2014.

Post-Great Southern, Betts went on to play guitar in several bands until December 2018, when he formed The Allman Betts Band. Duane Betts released several albums with his bandmates, including Down to the River and Bless Your Heart. In 2022 the band decided to take a hiatus, and Betts started working on solo music.

    The Sons of...

by Bluesellen on 10/22/23Jefferson Theater - Charlottesville

Duane was everything we wanted! Brilliantly opened with his own song "Evergreen."Spoke and interacted with his audience. Gave us songs from his new work "Wild and Precious Life,"as well as previous work. The treated us to Allman Brothers work, jamed with The Cordovas and a sweet encore of a brothers number. Then Duane came to the merch table and treated us to his awesome personality!

    Duane Betts

    by Osprey Fan on 7/19/23

A very hot & humid night. Great sound system. A low riser would have made the drummer seen. The Palmetto Motel & Duane Betts concert was excellent. Bring them back anytime!

    Hard hitting great action!

    by Norm on 7/19/23

The Palmetto Hotel had it going on an Pedro took it to another level. Best decision ever was to bring him along as a performer. He sat Duane up and pushed him to the next level and Duane carried it out. Was a fantastic show!

It doesn't get much better than this

    by Linda Fellows on 7/18/23

Jannus Live is an outdoor courtyard where the acoustics and the ability to get close to the stage create a more intimate experience with the music. Duane Betts and his band are tight, and they killed it. I've always liked The Allman Brothers and the musicians that have sprung from that band, like Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks. It was amazing to see his dad at the show supporting him too. These are the artists that put me in awe. I would definitely see him again. I brought a friend from UK and introduced her to his music, and she loved it; even more than the Blackberry Smoke show that I took her to last year. Hey, I am making converts... She is a PINK and Adele fan, so this was a giant leap. You cannot deny this incredible talent. I am so glad we got to see this show! If you like Gov't Mule or Tedeschi Trucks Band or just good rock, country or blues... you will appreciate Duane Betts.

The show was fantastic! I loved every second of it! Duane and his band have great chemistry and the guitar jamming was incredible. And I thought Duane’s singing sounded great. I consider them all top talent.

    Not Impressed

by WINGMAN on 11/16/22The Senate - Columbia

Concert was not bad, but the venue was not at all what i expected. It reminded me of a warehouse. Just a giant space with a concrete floor and no seating. There was no waiting for beer though. Ordered two Octoberfest 16 oz. drafts for $28.00. Wow is all I can say.
