About
ADAM CAROLLA is best known as a comedian, actor, radio personality, television host and NY Times best-selling author. He currently hosts The Adam Carolla Show, which holds the Guinness Book of World Records title for “most downloaded podcast," and was recently a star on NBC's Celebrity Apprentice. His latest book, Not Taco Bell Material, was released in June 2012 from Random House Publishing.
Adam started The Adam Carolla Show podcast with only a computer and a microphone from his home office in February 2009. That year the podcast was named iTunes #1 Podcast of 2009, and it has only grown since then. The podcast receives more than five million downloads a month and has been featured in Fast Company Magazine, Entrepreneur, The New York Times, and The Los Angeles Times. Adam’s immediate success prompted him to launch an entire online network, ACE Broadcasting in February 2010, which produces many of iTunes' top podcast programming.
Adam became a New York Times best-selling author when his book, In 50 Years We'll All Be Chicks, topped the charts for ten weeks. The audio version went straight to the #1 position on iTunes and remains there today. His new e-book, Rich Man Poor Man, is now available on iTunes.
Before running his online empire, Adam hosted The Adam Carolla Show on CBS radio stations in Los Angeles, Portland and Las Vegas. The four-hour weekday morning program was syndicated in several major markets, including Seattle, Sacramento and Fresno.
Adam has also starred on ABC's hit reality series Dancing with the Stars, hosted Comedy Central's Too Late with Adam Carolla and starred in TLC's The Adam Carolla Project, which chronicled the renovation and subsequent sale of his boyhood home.
Following brief stints as a skilled carpenter and boxing trainer, Adam began his career in radio after answering an ad seeking a boxing instructor to train then radio personality Jimmy Kimmel of KROQ's Kevin and Bean Show in Los Angeles. He eventually joined the show's repertoire as “Mr. Birchum,” a wood shop teacher. Adam’s success on KROQ led to a hosting job on the nationally syndicated radio program Loveline with Dr. Drew Pinsky. MTV developed a television version of the show, which was co-hosted by Adam and Dr. Drew for five seasons (1996-2000). The duo also authored The Dr. Drew and Adam Book: A Survival Guide to Life and Love.
With his partners Daniel Kellison and Jimmy Kimmel, Adam heads Jackhole Industries, and created and starred in two hit Comedy Central shows, The Man Show and Crank Yankers.
A native of Southern California, Adam currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife, Lynette, and their twins.

Never Again
by Jennak36 on 10/3/12Tropicana Showroom - Atlantic CityRating: 1 out of 5My husband and I were very disappointed in this show. We've seen a lot of comedy in A.C. and Adam Carolla was by far the worst. All he did was name drop and talk about how funny other people are. And if that wasn't bad enough, for his last bit, he talked about how much money he makes. How tacky and insecure can you be?
Adam Carolla, well worth it
by WWEFanatic69 on 10/2/12Tropicana Showroom - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5Had a great time watching Adam Carolla do his thing. I'd go see him again for sure.

Adam Carolla is a must see!
by cvand21 on 8/10/12University At Buffalo Center for the Arts - BuffaloRating: 5 out of 5The show was almost two hours long and consistently funny through the whole thing. The interactive screen was unique and having the visual made some of the stories and jokes even funnier. Loved it! He should come to New York more often!

The Aceman Entertained!
by hurls on 7/30/12University At Buffalo Center for the Arts - BuffaloRating: 4 out of 5Adam is most comfortable behind the mic on his podcast, but he's still able to entertain a large crowd too. He is one of the best in the business at crafting a story, with the best ones coming from his life. His show was full of laughs, but he ended the show with some good life lessons too.

Carolla's Stand-up
by DartFred on 7/16/12Empire Theatre - San AntonioRating: 5 out of 5Adam is an improvisational wizard, but his show in San Antonio was listed as "Stand-up." I was apprehensive going in but left very impressed. (I've watched live performances by Louis CK, Dave Chappelle, Jerry Seinfeld, and Chris Rock and will say that Carolla had me laughing just as much as those other guys.) He performed for a solid 1:45 and it flew by. His routine was well-organized and had a great flow to it. It never ventured down the controversial path that he tends to favor and was actually very clean, for him. He mostly told some of his favorite life stories with added details that kept you entertained even if you are a hardcore fan and had previously heard them, (like me.) Overall, it was a memorable night and I hope the Ace Man comes back to San Antonio. Good stuff all-around and highly recommended.

Long time listener, first time watcher
by PierreR on 7/15/12Charline McCombs Empire Theatre - San AntonioRating: 5 out of 5I've been a fan of Ace for the past 10 years and this was the second time I saw him in 48 hours (he was with Dennis Prager in Houston on Thursday). I was not disappointed, Carolla's rants were sidesplitting. The motivational ending led me to work all weekend on my projects, who else does that? It kills me that I have to wait until September to him again in Dallas.
Good show
by Boblobla on 7/15/12Charline McCombs Empire Theatre - San AntonioRating: 5 out of 5Enjoyed the show. It was really funny, the wife and I had a great time.
