A Flock of Seagulls on Tour

Get ready to ride the wave. A Flock of Seagulls are on tour and bringing their new wave hits to the stage with all the energy their fans and audiences remember. The band's peak success was found in the early 1980s and they are returning on tour to reunite with the generation that made them famous. The 2022 and 2023 tour will span the United States, making 10 stops along the way. Fans of the band will be thrilled to hear hits from their youth such as  "I Ran (So Far Away,)"  "Space Age Love Song," "Wishing (If I Had a Photograph of You" and "The More You Live, the More You Love." The tour promises to deliver nostalgia and new memories to all who attend.

A Flock of Seagulls Live in Concert

A Flock of Seagulls formed in 1979 in Liverpool. Lead vocalist and keyboardist Mike Score is also the founder of the band. Other current members include Kevin Rankin on drums, Gord Deppe on guitar and Pando on bass. The group's debut single "(It's Not Me) Talking," set them on the path to success. The band was signed to major label Jive in 1982 and distributed through CBS records, where they released their second single "Telecommunication." This Grammy-winning synthpop group grew to infamy with their offbeat haircuts and unconventional and eclectic music style, an unforgettable combination that has fans still reeling for more. The band attributes a large amount of their early success with the support and playtime they received from MTV.  In 2018, the band's original members released a new album titled Ascension, their first studio recording since 1984. The 12-track album featured the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.  Following the success of this album, the band released another highly anticipated album -- String Theory, which again featured the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra -- in 2021. The band continues to proudly demonstrate their uniqueness and off-the-cuff style. A Flock of Seagulls is bringing the nostalgia back with their 2022 and 2023 tour across the United States.

  • The Flock of Seagulls are as great as ever

by Nicholas on 10/21/24Culture Room - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

I’m 17, so I never experienced this group when they were big in the 80s. Despite this, I like their music so I went to this show. And wow! They sound great! Despite being in their 60s, the band still sounds like they’re in the 80s. They played all their hits which was great, and some new tracks that they made. These new tracks honestly sounded like they were made in the 80s it was great!! Tickets were cheap, they nearly played for 2 hours, worth it!

  • Fun from beginning to end!

by Tim on 9/14/24Vina Robles Amphitheatre - Paso RoblesRating: 4 out of 5

These shows are always fun... Everybody is there for a good time, a little nostalgia, and a bit of singing and dancing. You get to see all kinds of bands, too! Dramarama surprised me this time... I thought they were rocking, and they did it with a 12 pack of Tab on stage! I was happy to see The Vapors...Missing Persons...Wang Chung...all the rest... and Flock Of Seagulls was a great closer. Overall, a good time at a great venue

  • Lost 80's

by SMills on 9/5/24Vina Robles Amphitheatre - Paso RoblesRating: 5 out of 5

Great venue, artists made for personal experience by mingling with the crowd both before and after doing their sets. The staff at Vina Robles obviously enjoy their jobs and elevate the experience

  • Awesome concert

by MEEshell on 9/2/24Vina Robles Amphitheatre - Paso RoblesRating: 5 out of 5

If you love 80’s this is the concert for you. It was long which was great with plenty of breaks for bands to set up and time to get snacks and use the facilities. I was hoarse the next day from singing and dancing. So much fun. Also make sure to dress up !

  • Went Back To My Youth

by DawnM on 5/22/24Rating: 5 out of 5

Ludlow Garage was an excellent venue in Cincinnati. I brought my family, a daughter 11, and a son 17 with hubby. My daughter danced with me the entire night, and became a fan herself. A Flock of Seagulls is definitely in my top two favorite concerts ever (only Journey rates higher). Disappointed to not see more midwest dates, please come back, i want to be 17 again! Was looking forward to New Berlin before it got canceled.

  • The Flock can still Fly

by Gato on 4/29/24Ludlow Garage Cincinnati - CincinnatiRating: 4 out of 5

Very good music, singing was a bit raw. Set list was good. Ludlow Garage was a good venue.

  • Non-stop fun and dancing!

Highly recommended - the sound great - like traveling back to the 1980’s!

  • Thoroughly enjoyed A Flock of Seagulls!

by Lita & Bruce on 3/27/24The Paramount Theatre (Middletown, NY) - MiddletownRating: 5 out of 5

A Flock of Seagulls was amazing. We really enjoyed seeing them after so many years and should they come back to our area, we would enjoy seeing them again, and this time we would bring our adult kids with us 😎

  • Not good !!

by Don on 3/26/24The Paramount Theatre (Middletown, NY) - MiddletownRating: 1 out of 5

Boring dull show . The hits at the end were ok at best, only because it woke up a sleepy audience that only filled about half the theater. Their 12 other songs were very weak and lacked energy. No visuals, nothing on the backdrop except a banner, no nostalgic pictures, nothing. This band belongs with a package tour, not headlining.

Had an awesome time at A Flock of Seagulls. Took me right back to glorious 80s. The Paramount Theater is a great venue.

  • Had fun!

    by J-Rock on 2/17/24Old National Centre - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

I have always wanted to see them and was glad they came to Indy. The show was a lot of fun and entertaining. Although the hairstyle is long gone, Mike still has a great voice. The venue was great as well, and we really enjoyed the riser seats!

I took my 17 yr old daughter to this show, her request, Stayed at the rail all night. She loved it, I had the greatest time. Both bands did an amazing jobs, great evening.

  • Strangelove was awesome

by Chris f on 1/30/24Old National Centre - IndianapolisRating: 3 out of 5

The opening act of The Depeche Mode Experience was great. Left after 3 songs from the headliner. I would reverse the order

  • Good Evening

by Pickle on 1/30/24Old National Centre - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

Really enjoyed the bands and the venue. The Depeche Mode Experience sounded authentic to the real Depeche Mode. I also enjoyed the Classic A Flock Of Seagulls.

  • Dance Party!

by AFOS Fan #0 on 1/29/24Old National Centre - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

The crowd was super friendly, I got to dance in an open space in the back with several other people. The band had great music and kept great flow and tone.

  • 80s don't always translate

by Indy BAM on 1/29/24Old National Centre - IndianapolisRating: 3 out of 5

The show got off to a weird start because in 50 years of seeing concerts I have never seen a tribute band as the opening act. Strangelove was SUPER loud and the REAL Depeche Mode certainly need not worry about being upstaged. I was really stoked to see Flock Of Seagulls because they were one of my favorite 80s bands. They played three new songs and left a couple classics out? The sound was not very well mixed (but it might have just been the room). Mike Score did not interact much and seemed like he was kind of going through the motions. His latest band was very good so I would give the show a seven/ten
