  • Never Lets You Down

by Blue Jean on 11/27/25Mercury Ballroom - LouisvilleRating: 5 out of 5

This is my second time seeing Strangelove, the first time is when they opened for Flock of Seagulls and I was blown away. The second time, they were the headliners and also did a David Bowie Tribute called Electric Duke and the whole show was electrifying. I could not imagine having a better time if DM and Bowie themselves were putting the show on. Leo “Ultra Dave” Luganskiy is smoldering on stage in his homage to Dave Gahan, Brent Meyer as “Counterfeit Martin” Guitarist and keyboardist for both Strangelove and Electric Duke was mesmerizing to watch as he was conducting his own symphony of electronic music, vocals and guitar. Julian Shah-Tayler as “Oscar Wilder” was amazing to watch on keyboards and incredible backing vocals, but he blew my mind as Bowie in the Electric Duke Tribute. I was so ecstatic to see this show as I am a HUGE Bowie fan and this is the closest I will probably ever get to see to seeing a Bowie concert. It was great to experience Bowie’s songs done by such a fantastic tribute and I’d love to see them do a bigger show with this too, but I digress. James Evans- "In The Fletch"as Andy Fletcher is hard to take your eyes off of because he has such a commanding look about him and he has great backing vocals, too! That leaves Chris Olivas- "Chris-tian O-gner"their incredible drummer who drummed for both shows and was just fantastic. 10/10 will go every time they come to town.

  • Great show! Like going back in time and seeing young DM!

Great DM show! Would’ve loved to have more DM and less David Bowey! DM was great!

  • Better than the real thing.

    by Joe M. on 11/25/25Taft Theatre - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

This show was awesome in every way except for a bad choice in venues. I love the Taft but not for a show where dancing is a must. There must be room to move for a show as good as this. These quys were incredible. It felt like I was listening to Depeche Mode with headphones on. Great selection of songs and so well done.

I grew up listening To Depheche Mode and they did not disappoint. It brought me back to my high school days! They were so involved in the crowd and sounded OUTSTANDING!!! I would definitely see them again!

  • What an Experience!

by JulieB on 11/24/25Taft Theatre - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

I attend a lot of live music of small to very big names. This was one of the best overall experiences ever! The band was so engaging and just so talented! It was like a big GenX dance party!

  • Great Depeche Mode Representation!

by Pam on 11/17/25F.M. Kirby Center - Wilkes BarreRating: 5 out of 5

Strangelove: The Depeche Mode Experience was a fabulous concert and representation of the band. Although the show was amazing, I did not love having the event in the lobby of the most wonderful FM Kirby Center Theater! It was crowded and clumsy maneuvering around the refreshment stand and other obstacles. Having the concert on a proper stage would have heightened the performance even more!

  • Fantastic

by Gio on 11/12/25Wells Hall at The Parker - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

Both Strangelove (Depeche Mode) and Ordinary Boys (The Smiths) were fantastic tribute bands. If I had closed my eyes I would’ve thought I was at the actual concerts: Maybe even better, because they didn’t feel the need to play the ‘new stuff,’ or to skip the fan favorite that they’re just too tired to play. Both bands played all the favorites. And they sounded great. I’ll be back.

  • Excellent performance

by Scfin on 11/10/25House of Blues Myrtle Beach - North Myrtle BeachRating: 5 out of 5

I was quite pleased with the performance and crowd response. Their imitations of Martin Gore, Andrew Fletcher, and Dave Gahan were all quite fun (sorry for not knowing the blond keys player in back).
