A Flock of Seagulls on Tour

Get ready to ride the wave. A Flock of Seagulls are on tour and bringing their new wave hits to the stage with all the energy their fans and audiences remember. The band's peak success was found in the early 1980s and they are returning on tour to reunite with the generation that made them famous. The 2022 and 2023 tour will span the United States, making 10 stops along the way. Fans of the band will be thrilled to hear hits from their youth such as  "I Ran (So Far Away,)"  "Space Age Love Song," "Wishing (If I Had a Photograph of You" and "The More You Live, the More You Love." The tour promises to deliver nostalgia and new memories to all who attend.

A Flock of Seagulls Live in Concert

A Flock of Seagulls formed in 1979 in Liverpool. Lead vocalist and keyboardist Mike Score is also the founder of the band. Other current members include Kevin Rankin on drums, Gord Deppe on guitar and Pando on bass. The group's debut single "(It's Not Me) Talking," set them on the path to success. The band was signed to major label Jive in 1982 and distributed through CBS records, where they released their second single "Telecommunication." This Grammy-winning synthpop group grew to infamy with their offbeat haircuts and unconventional and eclectic music style, an unforgettable combination that has fans still reeling for more. The band attributes a large amount of their early success with the support and playtime they received from MTV.  In 2018, the band's original members released a new album titled Ascension, their first studio recording since 1984. The 12-track album featured the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.  Following the success of this album, the band released another highly anticipated album -- String Theory, which again featured the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra -- in 2021. The band continues to proudly demonstrate their uniqueness and off-the-cuff style. A Flock of Seagulls is bringing the nostalgia back with their 2022 and 2023 tour across the United States.

by Robinrae on 6/9/25Hoyt Sherman Place - Des MoinesRating: 5 out of 5

The venue was great and a flock of seagulls was incredible. It was everything I was hoping for! They played my favorite songs plus a few new ones. Had a fantastic time.!

  • AFOS Put on a Quality Show, the Openers, Not So Much

by John B on 6/9/25Hoyt Sherman Place - Des MoinesRating: 5 out of 5

Saw A Flock of Seagulls as part of the "I Love The 80's"tour. They were the headliner and Animotion and Bow Wow Wow (Annabella). A Flock of Seagulls put on a very good show with a mix of their hits and as well as newer releases (I saw them about 42 years ago so didn't even know they were still releasing new stuff). The sounded good and had a tight set. I would have rather just seen them by themselves at a smaller general admission venue where you can get up close and move a little to the music (I see a lot of 80's bands still touring at venues like House of Blues or First Avenue). The opening acts were another story. Animotion was OK but was really just waiting for them to play Obsession and be done. Bow Wow Wow was just a mess. Annabella's enthusiasm might have played better in a general admission but it just fell flat when she kept trying to get people to stand up and dance. In summary, definitely see A Flock of Seagulls if you can but hopefully you can find them touring on their own or with another quality act.

  • Flock of Seagulls were great!

by ISUFinn on 6/9/25Hoyt Sherman Place - Des MoinesRating: 5 out of 5

Enjoyed Animotion and their interaction with the crowd. Bow Wow Wow was OK, but too loud for the small auditorium. Flock of Seagulls were great and ended the night with their top 3 hits we wanted to hear.

  • Poorly Structured Event

by Rob on 6/9/25Hoyt Sherman Place - Des MoinesRating: 2 out of 5

This event should have started at 7:30pm and Bow Wow Wow should have been the opener, playing only a half hour allowing Animotion more time. A Hoyt Sherman Staff member placed a chair next to our paid seats near an exit area in the balcony, which was an odd arrangement. CSC also provided overbearing security for an event that wasn’t very populated. The only positive was that the Flock of Seagulls sounded great! Overall experience- thumbs down.

  • Great Show

by JeffD on 4/18/25The Atlantis - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

I though that they did a great job and sounded really good. I like the older material they played and the new as well.

  • Band was great, but

by RK on 4/18/25The Atlantis - WashingtonRating: 4 out of 5

A Flock of Seagulls was great. It has been a long time since they have been in DC, so it was great to see them. But the venue put up some house lights after the last song rather than keeping them down to encourage the crowd to stick around and cheer for an encore. As a result, people started to leave and the band was done. I feel bad for A Flock of Seagulls that we couldn't show them how much we appreciated their performance.

  • As good as I remember!

by HRKinDC on 4/18/25The Atlantis - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

The Flock of Seagulls show was really quite good. Their new music fits well both their older catalogue of work. And they weaved a wonderful set together.

Very nice theater, great seats,(not a bad seat in the theater !). Was a great time watching the bands, brought back a lot of memories !! Would definitely go back for additional shows.

  • Disappointed

by Cam on 3/18/25Pechanga Resort Casino - TemeculaRating: 1 out of 5

The show never really reached an excitement level in the large venue. Too much time between each act to changed out equipment and speakers. The musicians in the final act weren’t in sync. Very few fans in the audience! Maybe the wrong venue?

  • 80's bands rock the house.

by True 80's fan. on 3/17/25Pechanga Resort Casino - TemeculaRating: 5 out of 5

Awesome venue with great view of the bands and good acoustics. Dramarama rocked the house and bow wow wow gave an energetic performance. Flock of seagulls brought the electronic dance groove to close out a great night.

  • Disappointed!

by Dee on 11/15/24M Resort Spa Casino - HendersonRating: 3 out of 5

Strange Love was awesome! They got the crowd going and the night seemed promising! After the show, the members were taking pictures with fans at the merch tables. The guys were actually pretty dry/no personality, but they put on a great show! A Flock of Seagulls started out with a slower song which we knew but liked. Before we knew it they blasted us with five or six songs from their new album. I hate to say it, but we were rather bored. We did not go there to hear their new music. I felt bad for them as the audience started clearing out. They waited until the end to play the songs we actually wanted to hear. They should have only played two or three of their new songs and randomly thrown them in there. I hope they learn a lesson and don't do that again. Sadly, I won't go see them again.

  • Flock mediocre, MWOH awesome.

by MarLou on 11/11/24Great Canadian Casino Vancouver - CoquitlamRating: 4 out of 5

Flock wasn't great, poor sound, mixing, and vocals. Men Without Hats were awesome.

  • Men Without Hats were great

by RR on 11/9/24River Rock Casino Resort - RichmondRating: 5 out of 5

Flock of Seagulls were so boring, but when Men Without Hats came on, different story. Ivan in MWH has a great voice, and he's so energetic, funny, entertaining, and yes, attractive. Time and money well spent.

  • Both bands are a must see for the 80's tour

by Lorimar on 11/9/24River Rock Casino Resort - RichmondRating: 4 out of 5

Flock of Seagulls were entertaining and a blast from he past...follow up band Men Without Hats stole the show...worth the price of admission.

  • could’ve done better

by CCG on 11/5/24M Resort Spa Casino - HendersonRating: 1 out of 5

We went expecting to hear 80’s music, we heard maybe 3. People were disappointed and left. Sound system could use some improvement. you can barely hear them sing.

  • Dissatisfied

by Efman on 11/5/24M Resort Spa Casino - HendersonRating: 2 out of 5

I was disappointed because they didn’t play the radio songs, I went there to hear the classic songs that made them famous. So many people left early Very disappointed

  • Fantastic

by Cosmo on 10/31/24Culture Room - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

This was a great show! My husband and I flew down from Va to see them, for our 40th anniversary. They took us back in time, they didn’t miss a beat! This was one of the best times at a concert.

  • Awesome Concert

by Duality 164 on 10/21/24Culture Room - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

Flock of Seagulls are still kicking ass and Mikes Voice is Kicking but on all cylinders. They played all the hits and interacted with the audience really nice. It was a fun Friday Night with a Flock of Seagulls

  • Flock of Energy

by Tortelvis on 10/21/24Culture Room - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

Mike pressed on even though he was under the weather. Pando…always full of energy, and Gord, as great as ever. They played some of their new songs off their upcoming record, fantastic. If they could play one Spoons song that would have made an exceptional night even better. Maybe next time?!?

  • BEST CONCERT EVER
