A Flock of Seagulls on Tour

Get ready to ride the wave. A Flock of Seagulls are on tour and bringing their new wave hits to the stage with all the energy their fans and audiences remember. The band's peak success was found in the early 1980s and they are returning on tour to reunite with the generation that made them famous. The 2022 and 2023 tour will span the United States, making 10 stops along the way. Fans of the band will be thrilled to hear hits from their youth such as  "I Ran (So Far Away,)"  "Space Age Love Song," "Wishing (If I Had a Photograph of You" and "The More You Live, the More You Love." The tour promises to deliver nostalgia and new memories to all who attend.

A Flock of Seagulls Live in Concert

A Flock of Seagulls formed in 1979 in Liverpool. Lead vocalist and keyboardist Mike Score is also the founder of the band. Other current members include Kevin Rankin on drums, Gord Deppe on guitar and Pando on bass. The group's debut single "(It's Not Me) Talking," set them on the path to success. The band was signed to major label Jive in 1982 and distributed through CBS records, where they released their second single "Telecommunication." This Grammy-winning synthpop group grew to infamy with their offbeat haircuts and unconventional and eclectic music style, an unforgettable combination that has fans still reeling for more. The band attributes a large amount of their early success with the support and playtime they received from MTV.  In 2018, the band's original members released a new album titled Ascension, their first studio recording since 1984. The 12-track album featured the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.  Following the success of this album, the band released another highly anticipated album -- String Theory, which again featured the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra -- in 2021. The band continues to proudly demonstrate their uniqueness and off-the-cuff style. A Flock of Seagulls is bringing the nostalgia back with their 2022 and 2023 tour across the United States.

  • Loud, loud and poorly produced

by Allyson on 12/13/21The Canyon Agoura Hills - Agoura HillsRating: 1 out of 5

GILLIAN was fantastic but the acoustics were horrific. Also the " band" was a synthesizer and played POORLY. WE WALKED OUT AND i never walk out of concerts. 200.00 in the garbage.

  • The Canyon is a dive

by Monigp on 12/7/21The Canyon Santa Clarita - Santa ClaritaRating: 5 out of 5

I think they should play in a better location; but A flock of Seagulls was excellent the five stars are for them.

  • Time was off!

by Yoti on 12/6/21The Canyon Montclair - MontclairRating: 3 out of 5

I loved what I got to see of the concert but the time start was misleading. Usually the time in the tickets is the time the doors open, not the exact time the show starts.

  • The memories!

Great show sounded great! Just wish they had merch but had to buy online.

    Fantastic show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • More than I Ran...

by FOS Fan on 10/25/21Ludlow Garage Cincinnati - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

FOS has several songs that are in my opinion better than "I Ran"...Of course they played their big hit but played some other singles and deep tracks. They sounded great and it was nice to see them in an intimate venue like the Ludlow Garage...Gordon Deppe as their guitarist made one helluva difference compared to the previous guitarist...he wasn't bad I just think Gordon was more respectful to the original parts, tone, & effects played by the original guitarist Paul Reynolds. Mike and the guys were definitely in fine form!!! Thanks for the great show!!!

  • Awesome time!

  • Still a great band

by bobtlizard on 10/14/21Big Night Live - BostonRating: 4 out of 5

A Flock of Seagulls is still a great band. I wish their show was a little bit longer. Big night Live is a beautiful club, but you have to park in an area garage. The parking can be expensive, as we had to pay $42.

  • Perfect 80's Weekend

    by K. E. on 7/14/21Bank of Springfield Center - SpringfieldRating: 5 out of 5

Great concerts from two outstanding bands from the 80's. The event was well-organized. Looking forward to Abefest 2022!

  • Incredible Experience

    by R. J. on 7/12/21Bank of Springfield Center - SpringfieldRating: 5 out of 5

A Flock of Seagulls put on a wonderful rocking show. Other than Mike Score, the original band members do not tour. The touring band members melded in perfectly and brought musical energy to the performance. Mike Score's voice is as lyrical and beautiful as ever. 2 warm-up bands, Freddy Jones Band and Deja VooDoo also put on incredible performances, and their music greatly added to the show. I highly recommend all of these bands.

  • Two out Three Ain’t Bad

    by R. L. on 3/6/20Rating: 4 out of 5

The Spoons, Men Without Hats, Great, loved them. Got the crowd going dancing happy vibe. Then came A Flock of Seagulls . He should have been first. Wow, I loved the music in the day. He lacked a real connection with the audience. It felt like it was just a job and nothing more. I would happily see The Spoons and MWH again!

  • It was a great show!

It was a great show and wonderful to see all three bands at once!

  • 2 out of 3

by Tony C on 3/2/20River Cree Resort & Casino - EnochRating: 4 out of 5

Spoons and Men Without Hats were really good. Flock of Seagulls suffered from poor sound issues. We left half way through the set.

  • Flightless birds

by Scooter on 3/2/20Rating: 3 out of 5

This was advertised as an 80's club party with performances by the Spoons, Men without Hats and a Flock of Seagulls. The opening act by the Spoons was excellent as Gordon Deppe and Sandy Horne served up all of their hit songs and engaged with the audience. This was followed by Men without Hats. Frontman Ivan Doroschuk put on quite a show and had the audience dancing and singing along. Alas, the headliner, A Flock of Seagulls, was flat. The "flock" consisted of lead singer Mike Score on keyboards accompanied by Gordon Deppe of the Spoons on lead guitar. Score failed to score with the audience as most attendees wearing their "seagull locks" left in flocks after about 3 songs. Overall, a good night as two out of three ain't bad.

  • One bright spot.

by Mac Macky on 3/2/20River Cree Resort & Casino - EnochRating: 3 out of 5

Opening act was Spoons; decent and familiar. Second was MWH and they were on FIRE. My favourite part. Third was "A Flock of Seagulls" - I put that in quotations because it would have been more accurate to call the final act Seagull. One guy shows up and plays canned music while borrowing the guitarist from the Spoons - very disappointing.

  • Didnt fail to entertain

by senel101 on 12/9/19The Canyon Agoura Hills - Agoura HillsRating: 4 out of 5

Mike and Gordon rocked. bassist didnt show up. but they didnt need him anyway. my 7 yearold son was front row jamming on air guitar and they both engaged him. what a treat for my boy and us. we hope to see AFOS again soon. thank you Gorde. thank you Mike

  • Started well and declined throughout

by Habfan on 11/4/19Casino Rama Resort - RamaRating: 3 out of 5

Spoons were amazing. Men Without Hats were good with lots of energy. A Flock of Seagulls really brought the evening down (people were streaming out half way through). Should have had the performers in reverse order.

  • Flock of seagulls should fly away to retirement

by Wheezie on 11/4/19Casino Rama Resort - RamaRating: 3 out of 5

We saw 3 bands at Rama. The opening acts were fantastic; The Spoons and Men Without Hats!! The ‘headliner’ was Flock of Seagulls. They were terrible. He has no voice left, and they played new music. The crowd actually started to leave. Yes, they played their 2 biggest hits, but at the end. Flock should of been the opening act, limit them to 4 songs, and the other bands should of been the headliners.

  • Amazing!!

by John F on 12/19/18Pechanga Resort and Casino - TemeculaRating: 5 out of 5

I took my wife to this concert on our recent 5 day trip to California. She was a big fan of F.o.S. back in the 80's. They did not disappoint. Great show. Great Energy. Will definitely go again if given the chance.
