WICKED is a Tony-winning sensation that has been defying gravity and delighting Broadway audiences since 2003. With music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and a book by Winnie Holzman, the fantastical prequel to The Wizard of Oz was nominated for 10 Tony Awards after it opened at the Gershwin Theatre in New York City, and won three, including Best Actress for Idina Menzel, who played the original Elphaba. The musical’s first national tour opened in 2005 and ever since, WICKED’s touring production has criss-crossed North America offering theatergoers one short day in the Emerald City filled with magic, music and the ”untold true story of the Witches of Oz.” The second national tour — known as the “Munchkinland Tour” — has been an open-ended production since 2009 and now stars Olivia Valli as Elphaba and Celia Hottenstein as Glinda.

Absolutely a must see musical. I saw this show in 2011, different show wicked stays true to form. Awesome job to director and actors alike!!!
Wicked is absolutely fabulous! One of the best I’ve seen! I would highly recommend this to everyone and would definitely see it again! The actors were perfect in their roles! And the music is great too! You’re really missing out if you don’t or see this one!!
I've been to NYC and seen Broadway shows! They had NOTHING on this performance! The sets were beautiful. The performance was flawless. The entire cast was phenomenal but the two leads...just incredible! I'd go see it again tomorrow if I could!
Well Wicked was more than I imagine! Simply amazing and awe inspiring!! The actors and set were totally above my imagination!! Thank you for a wonderful afternoon!!
The best musical I’ve seen! Olivia Valli and the rest of the cast were top-tier! 👏
My family and I had seen Wicked (Touring) a few years ago and it was great. However, the performance we witnessed on October 6th was outstanding. The actors’ portrayals of these well known characters and their performances of these well known songs were both fresh and new. It was exciting like seeing WICKED for the first time again!
The show is awesome. However bringing my 2 hearing impaired daughters they unfortunately couldn’t understand the words due to the loud music. It would be awesome if there were screens with subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing.
Very good performance. Great costumes and sets. It seemed to go by so fast. Highly recommend this show.
It was my first time seeing this play and definitely won’t be my last. It was absolutely phenomenal!!!
Did not disappoint!! Have seen this show 4 times and it gets better every time. Amazing energy, fantastic singing and choreography, SO well done!!
This production was absolutely wonderful! It was my 5th time seeing Wicked and it was as amazing as the first. The vocals were superior and the entire troupe did a fabulous job.
This was my 4th time seeing Wicked over the span of probably 8 years. It was wonderful as usual!
This was my 2nd time seeing Wicked. It's such a great play. I can't wait until they come back to Kentucky.
If I could, I would rate more than 5 stars, maybe 10 out 5 stars. Yes, that is stupid but accurate nonetheless. The actors, scenery, clothing, lighting, colors galore equate to an awesome night at the theater. Downtown Louisville, clean, good options for dining (especially if one likes Bourbon), cheap parking rates but most of all felt safe.
An amazing production! I’ll will definitely see it again!
Everything about it was amazing! The singing, the sets, all of the actors. Definitely recommend it!
I had a view from the balcony and it was amazing! The cast was really good and the vocals were very impressive as were the special effects, especially from the dragon clock.
Took my niece who is Wizard of Oz nut! She loved it! We cried at level of exuberance in this show! So worth the money! Life time experience shared with loved ones!
The seats, the show, the atmosphere was awesome! Had a great time.
