This was an amazing experience! This is a Broadway show that everyone should see! Awesome job!!
First time broadway goer. Wife wanted to see The Lion King for her birthday so away we went. The sets were engaging and well done. Costumes were great. The orchestra was fantastic and some actors had some solid vocal performance (a few not so much). Some acting performances were superb (Tshidi Manye as Rafiki, Fred Beman as Timon) and others not so much. Bradley Gibson’s portrayal of Simba stood out of a performance that was quite disappointing/distracting.
I brought my 8 year old granddaughter. Our first New York Broadway. Could not have been more entertaining.
The whole experience was so amazing!! The characters were great and the songs were great!!!
This show was a wonderful experience for my grandkids and for me. It was very creative - the depiction of the animals and the special effects were excellent. Of course, the story and the music were very enjoyable.
The actors are really perform quite well on all the aspects!
From the costumes and engineering work to represent animals, to the uniqueness of an african strong drumming pattern, it was a great show overall. Expressions of dance, anger, love and comedy were also all there, as expected in a high quality Broadway show. I highly recommend this show for anyone.
The Lion King is a great experience for the entire family! From the moment you enter the theater until the show closes, the audience is captivated by the sounds, actors and costumes. It seems to get better every time we see the show! Thank you
It felt to me like every seat in the house was a great seat! For a sold out show it didn't feel crowded. The visual experience was amazing. We had a great time! 100 percent recommend this show!
First time at a Broadway show and it was amazing. Loved that we could pick our seats! I will definitely be attending another play in the future.
This was a great production! Our view of the stage was excellent.
We went on a trip to New York and I surprised my new fiancé with tickets on a Wednesday night. Although the evening was cold and rainy the show soon warmed us up. We absolutely loved the performance. We would highly recommend it!!
Seating was great customer service was great I lived the whole experience
Second time I’ve seen The Lion King on Broadway in NYC and it does not disappoint!! I am still in awe at the dancers ability to portray and bring to life each animal in the show. Absolutely amazing, talented and energetic cast!!
Booked tickets for The Lion King through my ticketmaster account whilst in uk with pick-up at the theatre once in NYC. It was so easy and hassle free with no problems on pick-up. An amazing show.
This was our first Broadway show and it did not disappoint!! There was laughter, tears, and shear amazement on all our faces. Thank you for giving us an event to remember.
The theater is decked out in The Lion King everything both outside and inside ceiling to floor which makes for a dazzling entrance. All of the performers (actors, singers, dancers, ballerinas, musicians, etc.) were top and on point; it was a great mix of many artistic professions yet symbiotic and easy to follow. When they dressed as animals and entered the stage from the back of the theater it made for a wonderfully immersive experience. There were quite a few moments when an emotional response was appropriately expressed by the audience and some individuals happily sang along. My seats were Orchestra F105-106 and the view was unobstructed from all angles (some performers appeared on the balconies). Overall, The Lion King was spectacular, a must-see for all ages, and I’d absolutely love to go to it again.
it was a great experience to see anything on Broadway. It definitely way better than i expected it to be. the theatrics were on point!
Was blown away by the costumes, the singing, music, and positive energy of it all. Very highly recommended.
