This was my first time seeing a Broadway play and I absolutely loved this. See this play
It was my daughter's first time to see the Lion King. She is 61/2, and loved it! We were lucky to get an aisle seat. The performers were fantastic! The crowd was wonderful! The people working in the theater, however, were not; saw half a dozen interacting with patrons near our door, and all were nasty and unhelpful. Not sure why such behavior wouldn't be addressed in volunteer training? I worked in a theater for many years, and I have no idea why they would allow such behavior around the patrons. Obviously, the people working the theater set the stage for your experience and are the last interaction. I would come again, hoping that different people would be there, but not sure that would be the case. Good luck!
What else can I say but GREAT SHOW!! The music and performers were absolutely wonderfiul. This was my first time seeing The Lion King. I should have gone years ago but always thought it was just for kids. Highly recommeded.
Great production! My 7 and 5 year olds loved it and were totally enthralled!
The Lion King has been my all time favorite Disney Movie and being that I was visiting New York there was no way I could have not seen it in broadway and I'm so glad I did. The cast was amazing, extremely talented. Not only did the show stick to the movie, but they add some additions to it, which I loved! Great for all ages! Unforgettable! Amazing! Best thing I did in New York!
Recommend it 100% to all!! Great for kids, teens and adults!
Spectacular costumes and singing! The New Yorkers said it best when they said it is like being awake in a dream.
Amazing show. It's obvious why it has been on Broadway for so many years. Worth every penny.
I bought the tickets for my nephew and his wife it was her birthday. They absolutely loved it. Also the seats were great!
Always knew it would be a great show. Husband saw one month earlier on his own during a NY visit and insisted we make the trip to see it. The entire cast were phenomenal. Especially liked the grace of Cheetah. The costumes were just unbelievable especially after going back stage and learning about the different costumes and the stage. Honored to meet young Nala and young Simba.
Everything about the play was incrediably done. The staff at the theatre take very good care of making the experience enjoyable. The singing was awesome. Great family entertainment.
This is my second time to see "The Lion King". I can honestly say that this time was as spectacular as the first. The cast keeps the production fresh. Cute comments about "Mary Poppins" !
A must see event. Costumes were incredible. The show was amazing!
We went to NYC for my 3oth bday and we couldn't wait to see our first broadway show... It was amazing...We loved EVERY minute of it..Worth every penny...it was 2 hours long and we got our moneys worth...can;t wait to go back again to see another show...
Amazing costumes and acting. The actors that played Young Simba and Young Nala were wonderful.
Spectacular show with 2 hours and a half, that could be more that everybody would stay with no complains at all. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The has started on time scheduled. I strongly recommend
The show was excellent. Very entertaining. Disney does an amazing job on Broadway. It was hard to imagine how the animals could be portrayed but the puppets were fantastic.
This was a remarkable show. Better to have seats in the orchestra section. Another Classic Disney production-
the performance was wonderful. Costumes amazing, everything about it was enjoyable.
Best ensemble cast I've ever seen on Broadway! The cast, the music, the costumes, the sets, and the intensity were eletricifying. Can't wait to bring my kids to see it!!
