About

In 2022, The Gaslight Anthem returned to the stage for the first time in four years.

Unlike those shows (which celebrated the ten-year anniversary of their breakthrough LP The '59 Sound), last year's tour explored every corner of the band's discography in festival and headline dates around the world.

Having recorded their first album in nearly a decade and with a new single "Positive Charge" out now, these 2023 shows mark a new beginning for The Gaslight Anthem.

    Always Amazed

by HP on 9/28/23The Sylvee - Madison

By far one of the best bands to exist and even better when they’re live and in front of you. Never let down and always flabbergasted.

    Amazing Show!

by ErikaM on 9/28/23The Sylvee - Madison

This show delivered! The band played a great set list and the venue was above average. For a "general admission"type of establishment the Sylvee in Madison, WI does things right. Clean and kept up well with plenty of restrooms. Entry was smooth and service at the bar was quick and easy. Great acoustics and sound quality. No complaints! Check out a show at the Sylvee and buy the Gaslight Anthem's new album :)

    The Bluestone Rocks!

by Jenni on 9/25/23The Bluestone - Columbus

The Gaslight Anthem at the beautiful Bluestone was the perfect concert experience! Everyone working at the Bluestone was friendly and helped set the mood. CATBITE was a great opener to get us rocking. Gaslight Anthem did not disappoint, playing a variety of new and older favorites! One of the best concerts this year!!

    Amazing performance, but…

by Meh on 9/25/23The Bluestone - Columbus

The venue is horrible. I’d rather this show be at Kemba Live or the Athaneum. Way too small for Gaslight, and zero seating. You can’t see the band from a good portion of the balcony. I won’t go to Bluestone shows again. Also, Gaslight is a rare band that sounds incredible recorded, but even better live. One of the greatest performances I’ve ever seen. However, Brian talks too much. Stand up comedy should be left to comedians. More music, less chatter.

    Tremendous Show

by Brian B on 9/24/23House of Blues Cleveland - Cleveland

This was a fantastic show. Gaslight powered through as many songs as they could, and they peppered in a great mix from all albums, including their forthcoming one. The opening acts were very different, but they both performances drew from musical genres that without a doubt influenced Gaslight's iconic sound. I appreciated being exposed to them, and I had a great experience seeing Gaslight for the first time.

    great band, lame crowd

by sarahdippity on 9/23/23Old National Centre - Indianapolis

I know it was a Wednesday night in Indy-no-place. But I've never seen such a lame, uninterested crowd in my 34 years of concert going. Maybe they were mad at the $12 beers. Or maybe the really low-key opener act killed everyone's will to live. Love TGA; they can do no wrong IMO (even if they forgot a few words.) The venue should get some seating for the aging crowd. I really wish venues would publish what time bands are scheduled. The beer choices were also less than stellar for their pricepoint. And maybe not host disney on ice or whatever it was in the other room at the same time; that was weird being surrounded by rugrats in the bathrooms and lobby. At least I got to be up front and have dancing room to celebrate my birthday. "We came to dance."

Great show. Not so great sound

by Elena on 9/22/23House of Blues Cleveland - Cleveland

Overall, I loved the show. I’ve been dying to see this band for over a decade. GA was awesome and even all the boy so great parts were worth it. I don’t know that I would ever see another show at HOB. I liked the vibe of the place and it was a fun spot. However, I could not hear or understand nearly anything the opening artists said nor anything spoken into the mic during the main set. The sound honestly put a damper on the whole evening. Those standing near me had similar things to say as the performance was happening. I could hear them better than the bands.

    Never a Bad Time

by Smasha13 on 9/22/23House of Blues Cleveland - Cleveland

I’ve seen The Gaslight Anthem many (many) times and they never fail to disappoint. The shows on this tour have been exceptional: the set lists have been so perfectly curated and the energy from the band has been amazing. I’m absolutely thrilled that I was able to get to multiple shows this tour.

VIP Treatment All The Way Around!

by meagschwartz on 9/20/23GLC Live at 20 Monroe - Grand Rapids

We had an incredible experience at GLC Live at 20 Monroe seeing the Gaslight Anthem. From the time we checked in we were treated like VIPs. After we checked in Michael Erickson made us feel super special and welcomed as it was our first time in the VIP lounge and at this venue. We enjoyed a couple of drinks before the show and really enjoyed the private bar and bathroom. We will definitely be booking VIP tickets in the future. Thanks so much Michael and Live Nation!

    Not Brian’s Best Performance

    by ReidRox74 on 5/29/23The Paramount - Huntington

Was excited to see Gaslight for the first time live in 8 years. The set list left a lot to be desired and Brian felt like he was going thru the motions. He also can do a little better job getting into shape.

    Amazing! The sound was perfect’

by Max on 5/28/23The Wind Creek Event Center - Bethlehem

I had general admission seats. And I was in the front on the left side and on the fence. Normally when you’re this close you can’t hear the vocals well because the guitar amps are so loud and the PA isn’t loud enough to override the guitar amps. But the PA WAS loud enough. The sound mix was PERFECT! I’ve never been at a concert where the sound was this perfect! My only complaint about the venue is that the floor is flat, so people I. The back will have a hard time seeing the band. They should have put the floor on an angle. The Gaslight Anthem put on an amazing show! That was the best show I’ve seen of them so far.

Classly, classic, and made for the fans

by Chris on 5/26/23State Theatre - Portland

This was my first time at the State Theater and my third time seeing the Gaslight Anthem. The venue was one of my favorites. I was able to get right up close to the stage and the venue felt full, but not crowded. I really appreciated how it felt like this was more of an intmate show for the fans with everyone around me singing along. I enjoyed both the openers and thought they fit well. There was a little feedback that was most prominent durring Emily's set, but she was endearing, kept going, and gave a great performance. Absolutely loved the setlist the Gaslight Anthem chose. Brian Fallon was the showman he always is and I appreciated the shout out to the crew who kept it going. The other two times I have seen the band were in Boston at larger venues, but this is the show I enjoyed the most and I hope TGA will return to Portland in the future.

    Edit to review

    by SoPo-A-GoGo on 5/26/23State Theatre - Portland

Autocorrect changed “great” to “gray” in my review. Their songs are great, not gray.

    Great band. Volume mushes sound.

    by SoPo-A-GoGo on 5/26/23State Theatre - Portland

First time seeing Gaslight Anthem live. Gray songs, energy, musicianship, patter. I’m over 60, which means I might be a little aurally sensitive—but it also means I’ve seen a lot of shows (and yes, we call ‘em “shows” not “concerts” as Brian Fallon joked) from Allman Brothers to U2, and I have to say: what’s with the volume cranked up so loud you feel it in your chest (no, I wasn’t high), can’t hear the keyboards at all until you *see* the guy hidden in the back, can’t distinguish the lyrics even of familiar songs (but enjoyed the crowd singing along), and the guitar tracks meld together like the sound of traffic in the Holland Tunnel? I really liked the warm-up band OsoOsa and will listen to. they’re music more after this. Balcony seats are super,

One of the Best bands live!

by Peter on 5/24/23Sound Waves at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City - Atlantic City

One of the best bands touring today! What a show! Had the audience singing and jumping from start to finish. They sound just like their records and never seem to disappoint. So happy that they are touring again and look forward to the new music that they are creating.
