Shin Lim on Tour
Catching Shin Lim in the act is unlike watching any other magician perform. Instead of making people disappear or sawing them in half, he simply concentrates on card tricks. But he raises the level of his sleight of hand with a deck of cards to a fine art.
There's drama, music, and a kind of a ballet to Lim's magic. And he's known for performing his illusions without uttering a word, letting his hands and his cards do all the talking while his carefully curated music — Lim started out as a musician — tickles the audience's ears. Shin Lim Background
Born in Vancouver to Singaporean parents and raised in Massachusetts, Shin Lim had two passions in his youth: music and magic. He was studying music in college when he learned that he was suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome. This discovery caused him to abandon playing the piano in favor of becoming a professional magician.
He got one of his first big breaks when he was given the chance to tour in China. Since he didn't speak the language, he kept silent during his tricks, and that practice became a signature of his shows. Bringing a bold, unprecedented artistry to the realm of card tricks, Lim really began to hit it big when he worked his magic on TV's Penn & Teller: Fool Us in 2015. The performance became a social media sensation that elevated his profile dramatically. Since then, he's frequently appeared on TV, twice becoming a winner on America's Got Talent. And he tours widely, taking his illusions everywhere from Las Vegas to Broadway.
Shin Lim is sheer magic. lol…the show was amazing from start to finish. Having Colin Cloud as part of the show was a welcome added bonus. He’s funny and a very talented! I highly recommend the show. It is appropriate for all ages.
This was fantastic. I enjoyed the opening act as well as the headliner.
Loved every second of it. Had great momentum from start to finish! Loved the back and forth between Shim and Colin performances. Audience interaction was the best! Loved it!!!
Shin lim is absolutely amazing, but his co star Colin cloud is also equally impressive. They work amazingly as a team and Colin cloud should be featured more in the posters and add because he is about 50% of the show
I enjoyed the show because Shim Lin added the mentalist Collin from AGT who really was excellent! I think without Collin, the music alone in the show may have put me to sleep. Shim is good, but needs to work on drawing the audience in.
This show was amazing. Many years ago, my husband became interested in magic and took a class on it, so we knew a few of the "tricks of the trade."I found myself completely and happily baffled by how Shin Lim and Colin Cloud performed their feats of "magic."The show is very interactive, with lots of audience participation, and the showroom was the perfect size for this show. Highly recommend!!!
Shin Lim and Colin Cloud put on a great show. Their acts had the audience spellbound and amazed. The venue was very comfortable. We sat near the front, but the close up magic was projected on a screen, so I think you could still enjoy the show from further back. Highly recommended for fans of magic
My daughter and I had a wonderful experience she was even able to go up on stage. The only negative I wasn’t able to take a photo of her being up on stage. Maybe my recommendation is when you have people do that. Maybe they can take photos and we can purchase them afterwards if we want them. Besides that it was a great night and awesome show .
Shin Lim is a master of illusion! Keep your eyes on his hands & fingers!!! Don’t blink!!!
Amazing, but he spends too much time trying to convince you the plants in the audience are not plants.

Surprised my wife with meet and greet tickets for his show. Sat in front row right in front. Both his show ND Colin's amazing. Got pictures of him with us and then he signed our VIP passes, picture and cards. Even shook our hands! If you come to Vegas, don't miss his show!

Shin Lim and Colin Cloud put on a thoroughly entertaining show. There are not enough words to express my wonder and disbelief at the amazing things that I saw. I love magic and have seen many world-class magicians, and after seeing this show I would consider Shin Lim my favorite. Shin Lim is in a category by himself in the skill and creativity of his tricks. His style makes it seem so easy, yet one can only wonder at the thousands of hours spent perfecting each move. He is mesmerizing. His sleight of hand is impeccable and his ability to tell a story with his magic is captivating. Colin Cloud was a perfect accompaniment to the show, and the two played off of each other very well. Mr. Cloud has really perfected his act from his days on America's Got Talent and I am still trying to figure out how he "reads minds"to such a specific, accurate level. The Mirage Theater is beautiful and relatively small, providing an intimate setting even for those sitting towards the back. This show is worth every penny (actually it is worth more than the price of the tickets) and I highly recommend seeing it if you have the opportunity.

Amazing show.. Shin is very soft spoken who do can be difficult to hear well at times but all in all this show was a great time and well worth it.
