Catching Shin Lim in the act is unlike watching any other magician perform. Instead of making people disappear or sawing them in half, he simply concentrates on card tricks. But he raises the level of his sleight of hand with a deck of cards to a fine art.

Shin Lim Background
Born in Vancouver to Singaporean parents and raised in Massachusetts, Shin Lim had two passions in his youth: music and magic. He was studying music in college when he learned that he was suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome. This discovery caused him to abandon playing the piano in favor of becoming a professional magician.
He got one of his first big breaks when he was given the chance to tour in China. Since he didn't speak the language, he kept silent during his tricks, and that practice became a signature of his shows. Bringing a bold, unprecedented artistry to the realm of card tricks, Lim really began to hit it big when he worked his magic on TV's Penn & Teller: Fool Us in 2015. The performance became a social media sensation that elevated his profile dramatically. Since then, he's frequently appeared on TV, twice becoming a winner on America's Got Talent. And he tours widely, taking his illusions everywhere from Las Vegas to Broadway.
The show was incredible! I have always been a fan and this did not disappoint. I met a group In Vegas for my birthday and we had an amazing time at the Palazzo. Shin Lim Show is very entertaining and I LOVED the host. He was so funny and a nice break from The seriousness of Shins story. The magic is awe-inspiring!

We saw Shin Lim, and his excellent, unique and highly entertaining magic show, the last night of our annual summer visit to Las Vegas. The magic is dazzling -- it truly DOES seem like actual magic! He engages the audience with a combination of story-telling, personal experiences and audience participation which is both fun and funny, but also SO compelling! We've been to several other magic shows in Vegas over the years, and this ranks at the very top!!!
I've been a fan of Shin Lim since his appearance on AGT. I always voted for him and found nis routine appealing. The same AGT foundation, card tricks, is the center of his Las Vegas show. It was an entertaining show and the kids in the audience seemed to really enjoy it. The downside for me was that his entire act revolves around a deck of cards. If you factored out the deck of cards he has no show to perform. Yes, he has another magician appear that does hypnosis and mentalism stuff. His wife is also part of the act with a ring that she masters very well. Having said that, Mr. Lim is the star of the show and appears the most onstage. My main "wow factor"was the last act of the show. No spoilers here, but if you see the show live you'll understand my feedback.
