Who is David Copperfield?
David Copperfield's career in magic began when he was 10 years old, performing in his New Jersey neighborhood as Davino the Boy Magician. By the age of 16, he was a member of the Society of American Magicians and teaching magic at New York University.
Copperfield's decades-long string of top-rated, Emmy-winning television specials began in 1977, where he performed his unprecedented feats and illusions before TV audiences.
When not performing live at such storied locations as the White House and in his own Broadway productions, Copperfield has shared his signature combination of storytelling, stagecraft and magic with audiences worldwide. First presented in 2003, David Copperfield: An Intimate Evening of Grand Illusion toured venues and sold-out arenas across the US and the world. It regularly runs at the David Copperfield Theater at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

I was expecting a bit more from his show, regardless it was a lovely experience overall. The venue theatre is quite small and a bit crowded. I sat in the front tables, table 4 seat 1. All of the tables were too close together and the chairs are so tiny, not leaving not much room to move around. Aside from that, this was a great once in a lifetime experience to go see the famous David Copperfield in person!

Maybe it was an off night, but the show's energy was so low that it felt like he just ambled from trick to trick with recited patter and no attempt to make a connection with the audience.

He performed magic in the audience which gives you an upclose and personal experience. David was charming and funny and you could tell that he loves what he does. Overall a great experience. Highly recommended!

by anonymous on 10/29/23David Copperfield Theater at MGM Grand Hotel and Casino - Las VegasEnjoyed David Copperfield’s magic show the best of all the many shows we saw in Las Vegas … his show was so unexpected and thrilling … David Copperfield’s beautiful antique dream car appearing on stage in blink of eye out of nowhere … alien Blu going home in his jaw dropping 20 ton spaceship flying over our heads … and 30 foot T-Rex Frank from David Copperfield’s childhood with its gold tooth roaring and scaring everyone … and all the amazing unfathomable magic tricks involving the audience … David Copperfield was so gracious at his meet & greet giving every one of us his autographed photo and letting us get a photo with him plus performing one last thrilling magic trick and to top off our amazing David Copperfield experience we all got emails thanking us for attending his show !
