Pittsburgh Steelers History
The fifth-oldest franchise in the NFL, the Steelers were founded on July 8, 1933, by Arthur Joseph Rooney. One of the great pioneers of the sports world, Art Rooney, or "The Chief," is enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Originally named the Pittsburgh Pirates, they were a member of the Eastern Division of the 10-team NFL. The Steelers have won eight conference championships, 24 division championships and six Super Bowl championships. They became the first NFL team to win six Super Bowl championships when they defeated the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XL, and are tied with the New England Patriots for the NFL team with the most Super Bowl wins. Many legendary players have worn the Steelers jersey over the years, including Terry Bradshaw, Jerome Bettis, Ben Roethlisberger, Hines Ward, Franco Harris, and Troy Polamalu, among others.
With the hiring of Lowell Perry in 1957, the Steelers became the first NFL team to hire a Black assistant coach. They were also the first team to have a Black Super Bowl MVP when Franco Harris won the honor in 1957, and they were the first to hire a Black Coordinator with Tony Dungy in 1984, and the first female full-time athletic trainer with Ariko Iso in 2002.

This high energy show featured Pittsburgh Steelers and their family members combined with hip hop dancers, the Pitt dance team and CLO performers. Kiya Tomlin showcased some of her designs, which included her official NFL licensed apparel. Seeing players tackle the runway at Stage AE provides a unique look at Steelers off the field and the fact that all proceeds are donated to charity makes it a a fun party with a purpose.

It was my first time at the stadium to watch the game.i love the steelers.always have.great game.great players.had a great time.i only had one thing that i didnt like.i took cash thinking that inside took cash so that you didnt have to walk all the way back down the stadium then outside for drinks and food.it didnt say bring card not cash.and not every one carries a card.i think it should be either or.
Really Hot!! It was hot in the parking lot ... hotter in the stadium! STEELERS WON!
Funny how I’m seated next to people that would not move down one seat to give everyone more room. Especially when there was four open seats next to her. But the view was great! The security did a good job of moving people of of our section that were not supposed to be there. It was super hot in the sun. The food was good as well! Next time I’m buying a end of the row seat!
We bought Tickest in Austria, simple and easy. Provided to a WLAN at the stadium, entrance was easy and smooth, a very pleasant experience. I will recommend your service to my friends and will come back myself. Greetings from Austria Hellfarmer

Been a Steelers fan for very long time and never been to a game in hienz field before. Well this not a game but Wowwww I was amazed about the atmosphere in there . Very organized. The staff , and the fans were amazing . I loved the vibe and the history of the field . I really felt like home . There were a lot of activities and stuff to do . Even My girlfriend who is a Browns fan loved it and had a blast . Not gonna lie I think she is turning to a Steelers fan after this experience. I ll be going there more and more . I can’t wait to go back again for a game or an event . Thank you Steelers nation 🖤💛
Easily worth the $15 price tag. We got to see the Lombardi trophies, visit the locker room, see our number 1 draft pick in person, and the photo ops on field and in the tunnels/locker room couldn’t be beat. Crowd wasn’t insane or anything. Much better than expected!!!
Had a great time at Fan Blitz. It was nice to experience all the sights and sounds of being fully immersed in a true stadium experience.
My 1st trip to Pittsburgh was a experience of moderate people and you have a little crazies! Going to Heinz Field was a time I didn't want to go home to New York but I had too! I was very excited and happy to finally go Pittsburgh
