There is nothing like a game at Heinz Field -

Heinz Field - Pittsburgh

The autmospere at Heinz is the best place to watch a game for Steelers fans. Also the only place you get to experience Renegade. The facility is top notch and has many food and drink options. We have been coming to a game for 5 years now.

Steeler game was great!

Heinz Field - Pittsburgh

This was my first time attending a Steeler game at Heinz field. I had a great time. It was fairly easy getting into the stadium. We rode the Gateway Clipper over. Was a nice ride. Everyone, fans and staff were friendly. Concessions and restrooms were clean. View of game was good, even though we were in high seats. And the Steelers won, which made all of us Steeler fans happy! Beautiful city. Nice people. There was a sense of pride in the people of the city and yet sadness with the recent shootings in Squirrel Hill.

Back on track

Heinz Field - Pittsburgh

Great game for Steelers fans and sitting at the closed-end part of the field where the majority of the TD's were scored was a bonus...Venue definitely a very cool place, but prices are expensive, so you better save up...Regardless, had a great time with a great friend!

Steeler Nation

Heinz Field - Pittsburgh

This is the second game that I have been to and I had an awesome time. We were actually 5 rows from the top and we had no trouble seeing at all. If you are a true Steelers fan you have to go to a game. It’s a must to wave your terrible towel, hear Renegade play and cheer for the greatest team on the planet. STEELERNATION!!!!!

Great team

Heinz Field - Pittsburgh

Music is too loud. Too much charity, non-football related stuff going on. Hate digital "tickets," I want the real tickets to collect and not the bull crap print at home 8.5"x11" ones.

Official NFL Ticket Exchange of the Pittsburgh Steelers

Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field

Here's how strong the fan spirit is in the Steel City: Attendance at the Steelers' home stadium has sold out for every home game since its inauguration in 2001. That's right: Fans of the Pittsburgh, PA-based team love watching the Steelers battle against other NFL teams at the impressive stadium that features the infamous gold-colored seats.

The team has played a total of 13 playoff games at the stadium, winning eight. They always provide a live experience for fans that demonstrates the highly physical nature of their playing style, which is offense-heavy and is building upon growing momentum from the defensive line in recent years.

Pittsburgh Steelers 2019 Season

In 2018, the Steelers finished 9-6-1 and missed the playoffs for the first time since 2013. But they have high hopes in 2019 with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger leading the team among breakout stars in the making. Running back James Conner had 974 rushing yards, 497 yards through the air, and 13 total touchdowns. Wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster ranked fifth in the league with 1,426 receiving yards and tied for fifth with 111 receptions. Head coach Mike Tomlin returns with hopes to lead Pittsburgh back to the playoffs.

Pittsburgh Steelers History

The fifth-oldest franchise in the NFL, the Steelers were founded on July 8, 1933, by Arthur Joseph Rooney. Originally named the Pittsburgh Pirates, they were a member of the Eastern Division of the 10-team NFL. The other four current NFL teams in existence at that time were the Chicago (Arizona) Cardinals, Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bears and New York Giants.

One of the great pioneers of the sports world, Art Rooney passed away on August 25, 1988, following a stroke at the age of 87. "The Chief", as he was affectionately known, is enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame and is remembered as one of Pittsburgh's great people

By the mid-1960s, Rooney had begun to turn over much of the operation of the Steelers to his oldest son, Dan. After having worked in every area of the organization since 1955, Daniel M. Rooney was named president of the Steelers in 1975. In 2000, Dan Rooney was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He joined his father Art to form only the second father-son tandem to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Late Steelers' Chairman, Ambassador Dan Rooney spent 54 consecutive years with the organization before being named U.S. Ambassador to Ireland in 2009 by President Barack Obama. Rooney was required to move to Ireland in 2009 to fulfill his duties as ambassador. As an NFL owner, Dan Rooney was widely recognized as one of the league's most influential executives and one of Pittsburgh's leading contributors to civic affairs. Rooney was named Steelers' Chairman Emeritus in July 2009 after he was named United States Ambassador to Ireland. Rooney served as United States Ambassador until late 2012.

In 2003, Rooney officially turned over the title of Steelers' team president to his oldest son, Arthur J. Rooney II, who had previously served as the team's vice president and general counsel. Art Rooney II is also very active in the Pittsburgh community, devoting a substantial amount of his time to various organizations. He currently serves on the boards of the Pittsburgh Public Theater, Saint Vincent College, Senator John Heinz Western PA History Center, and the United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania.
